A week later
Mara’s Pov
I saw myself in a dark area, like seriously where am I.
I saw a light and I tried going towards that direction but I kept going back.
Help I screamed, but instead I heard Jay’s voice, Mara are you gonna keep sleeping here. I heard Jay said that.
Jay I called but my voice came as a whisper.
I dragged myself towards the light and suddenly my eyes snapped open.
Mara you are awake Jay said shocked.
Where am I? I asked.
Hospital, he said
Hospital I thought, and that was when I remembered Mabel and I dragging the steering of the car and we had an accident.
Where’s Mabel I asked looking around but just then everyone entered, my mom, dad, Anna, Ara and Dan, including Charles.
Oh my God baby you are awake mom said hugging me tightly.
Mom I can’t breath I said.
Am sorry I just missed you she said and pulled away.
Hi Dan I said smiling.
Mara you almost gave me an heart attack he said.
It’s a good thing you are awake,my little bro almost died Charles said.
Am not your little bro Jay said glaring hard at him.
Then what are you he asked smiling.
Whatever Jay said and scoffed.
Well it’s a good thing you are awake Dan and I would be leaving now Charles said going out with Dan after giving Anna a kss.
Bye Mara Dan said and walked out.
Where’s Mabel I asked.
Like seriously Mara after everything she did to you, you still care about her Ara said angrily.
Is she fine I asked.
Don’t worry dad said and just then the doctor entered.
See you later Anna said and walked out with everyone else.
Are you going out I asked Jay who was trying to stand up.
Yeah thought you needed some space he said.
Don’t be stupid Jay, sit down here I said and dragged him down.
Moments later.
Mara are you sure you are okay Jay asked for the tenth time.
He was laying with me on my bed, I had forced him to, only God knows how much I had missed this guy here.
Are you feeling any pains he asked but I shut him with a kss.
The kss was slow desperate and passionate, soon we broke apart.

A week later.
I was already strong and ready to do anything, the doctors said am gonna be discharged today.
My parents were throwing a welcoming party for me.
I hadn’t seen Mabel and nobody was talking about her, I know she’s fine because Dan is.
Mara time to go mom said coming in.
Yeah mom waiting for Jay I said.
Come on darling I would just tell him to come home and its already late and the guests are waiting she said.
Ok mom lets go I said and walked out with her.
Moment later.
The party was going smoothly without any destruction, many of dad business partners were here.
I saw Travis but I avoided him..
I haven’t seen Mabel and am a bit worried.
What’s wrong babe, Jay said wrapping his hands around me, we had left the party moments ago to have some time for ourselves.
It’s Mabel I said.
Come on Mara, she’s fine she’s just feeling guilty. Jay said.
I nodded my head, the Mabel I know never feels guilty, did my parents shout at her I asked.
Yeah they said a lot of bad things to her. Jay said.
What about your mom I asked.
I haven’t seen her he said.
Is she still mad I asked.
Well that’s her business he said.
But Jay, why don’t you visit your mom I said feeling guilty, that am the reason his having problems with his mom.
You don’t have to worry Mara she would learn to love you he said.
I hope so I said and hug him.
Mabel’s Pov
I waited till the party was over before I came back.
Everywhere was cold and it’s gonna rain soon.
I was feeling d@mn guilty, it seems my parents dosen’t want me anymore and am gonna leave for peace to reign.
I rode into the compound and after parking my car I came out.
Where do you think you are coming from dad asked immidiately I entered.
Do you care I ask.
Do I look like I care, even if you die I won’t be pained one bit dad said.
Dad how could you say such words to her Mara said.
Am sorry for everything I had done to this family and I have come to realize that am the one that has been causing trouble I said and turned back.
Where are you going to mom asked.
Stop asking as if you care I said.
Mabel that’s not it mom said.
Then what I asked.
Am sorry she said.
Stay the fk away from me I yelled as tears came out from my eyes.
Where are you going this night mom asked.
Am leaving and never coming back I said and walked out of the house in tears.
