Mara’s Pov
I ran after Mabel as she ran out of the house.
It was raining outside.
Mara where are you going to mom screamed behind me, but I totally ignored her.
Mabel I screamed as I ran after her, but instead she drove off, thank goodness I had my car keys with me.
I quickly entered my car and drove after her.
The rain was falling heavily and I was in handless I was beginning to get cold.
Mabel parked her car in a beach and came down and sat on the ground crying.
I stepped out from the car into the rain and started walking towards her.
Just go back to your family she said not turning back.
Mabel it’s okay I said trying to touch her.
Stay the fk away from me she yelled at me crying.
Mabel please calm down and hear me out I said.
Hear what, what the fk do you want me to hear? My parents neglected me all because of you and here you are trying to behave like a saint she said.
Mabel am still your sister I said.
Like seriously, sister, all you have brought into my life was pain, frustration and anger, my parents neglected me because of you, she yelled pointing her fingers at me crying.
Mabel you need to understand me, I didn’t take your parents I said.
Then what did you do she yelled angrily.
Please try and understand me I said frustrated.
Understand, you really want want me to do that, how dare you, the sight of you alone disgust me, I never wished to have a sibling, but here you are, you took everything away from me, even my own boyfriend likes you more than me,he can go miles because of you she said crying.
Come on Mabel and stop being childish you and I know that Dan loves you I said.
Save me all that crap Mara, am now the one being childish here right, you are the mature one, like seriously you trying to be Senior you are looking out to me, but I need you stay the fk away from me if you really care, I wish you just died instead she said.
I don’t wanna leave you here, it’s dangerous I said.
I don’t care Mara, just leave. she yelled at me angrily.
Ok fine am gonna leave if that’s what you want I said and walked towards my car, but just as I was entering, I felt her wrap her hands around me.
Mara you are not gonna leave me here right she said crying.
Mabel I called as I turned and hugged her tightly.
Mara am sorry for everything I did to you, am really sorry I was just being childish she said crying.
It’s alright I said tapping her slightly.
Have you forgiven me, am I now your sister she asked.
I had forgiven you I said and she hugged me tightly.
Thanks Mara she said.
We both stayed in that position for a long time until the rain stopped.
Mabel let’s go home I said
I don’t want to go to that house she said.
Where do you want to go I asked.
Anywhere she said.
Come on let’s go home I said and dragged her to the car.
My car she whispered.
Am goñna get it tomorrow I said and she nodded.
I drove back to the house, I helped her out of the car and we both walked in hand in hand.
Oh my God you guys made me scared mom said.
Why did she come back dad asked.
You are one of the problems we have in the house I said angrily.
Ok fine am sorry he said.
Apology not accepted, you are gonna apologize to her tommorow I said.
He nodded and walked to his room.
Mom we are tired, am gonna get some sleep I said.
Ok goodnight girls she said and I nodded.
I helped Mabel up the stairs, I could see she was weak, I know she hasn’t been in the rain before.
I wanna go to my room she said when we got upstairs.
Why don’t you spend the night in my room I said and she nodded.
I took her in and dropped my car keys, I looked at my phone and I saw it was 12:00 am. 20 missed calls from Jay, 3 from Dan, 2 from Anna and 1 from Ara.
Am gonna attend to all these tommorow, I turned and saw Mabel still standing there, pull your clothes and go take your bath. I said and she nodded.
I picked up my phone and call Jay.
?Babe you scared me he said.
? Sorry I said.
?Are you fine he asked.
?Yeah am perfectly fine I said.
?Ok goodnight he said.
?I love you I said smiling.
?I love you too now sleep tight he said and cut the call.
I smiled to no one in particular, I so much love this dude.
Am done I heard Mabel say from the bathroom and I quickly rushed to get her the towel and nightie, go get some rest am gonna take my bath now I said and entered the bathroom.
I entered the bathroom and pulled off my clothes and let the shower wash on my body. I scrub away all the dirts out of body I stepped out of the bathroom in my towel. Mabel was already asleep, I put on my nightie.
I laid on the bed and Mabel dressed closer to me.
Good night sis she said.
Night baby sleep tight I said and she nodded and soon she slept off. I smiled to myself just what I want I thought and soon and nature took over.
