“She’s okay, her vitals is okay but she’s in coma right now” the doctor said.
“Samantha when will she wake up, is there a way we can do anything” Alex said
I glance to see my mom crying as she sat on the chair close to lily bed, holding lily hand
“Your sister has cancer and she needs to do curative surgery before the cancer will go deep in her body” Samantha said
“Lila follow me” Alex said as he walk and I followed him leaving Samantha and mom in the ward.
I walk inside his office and watch as he remove the coat and sat on the couch.
“Come and seat down” he said and I slowly sat down on the couch in front of him
“Your sister needs a curative surgery and it worth over 20 million dollars, her hospital bills and drugs everything which makes it 25 million dollars” he said and I gasp
“Is it too small” he asked
“It’s too much where do you expect me to see such money” I replied
“What do you mean?” He asked
I gather up my courage and kneel down in front of me placing my two hands on my lap
“I’m from a poor background, I attend that college base on scholarship, if I have such money don’t you think I would have use it to save her so please Alex help me please save my sister for me. I promise not to be rude to you again” I said as I felt a fresh tears rolling down
He just stare at me without saying anything what’s going through his mind
“Can you do something for me and I promise to clear all your sister hospital bills, give you one of my Mansions, a car and 20 million dollars” he said and I look up to look at him
“Hope you are not going to ask for sex cause everywhere I go to for assistance they are always asking for sex in return” I said as I bow my head down
“Lila remember I told you, you are too small for me, I can’t have anything to do with you now but maybe in the future I can think about doing something with you” he said
“So what do you want” I asked
“Be my wife for 60 days, fake wife base on contract” he said
“You said you are not going to do anything with me and you are asking me to be your wife” I said
“I’m not going to do anything to you, be my wife, we will act as a real couple to the world including to my family but in the room alone, we’re just going to ignore each other” he said
“If I be your wife will you fulfill your promises?” I asked
“I don’t promise and fail” he replied
I will even use the money to start a new life, I will agree to this because of my mom.
“Okay I will be your wife because my sister health matters to me” I said
He stood up and went to his table and brought out a paper and pen then drop it in my front
“Sign that contract” he said
I opened the paper and I read everything,then sign on it
“I’m done” I said and drop it on the table
“Tomorrow you are following me to my parent’s house, that’s where we are going to stay and I want us to act like a real couple.
I want you to look expensive because of my mom so follow my personal assistant Cole for shopping and please act classic, try to cheerful and if they ask you any question tell them you are girlfriend and soon to be wife” he said
“By this time” I said
“Yes go right now”
“No ring” I said as I roll my eyeballs
“Oh yeah take this and just know that you are not longer a poor girl you are now a celebrity wife so please act classic” he said as he brought out a small box from his suit pocket
I watch as he open the box and I saw a shining diamond ring “your left hand” he said
I slowly stretch my hand forth and he put the ring in the promise finger then let go of my hands
“Thank you” I said
“Tomorrow will be day one” he said
“I’m your fake wife starting from tomorrow” I said and he nod his head
“My personal assistant is waiting for you outside” he said
“Can I see my mom before I go” I asked
“Sure why not” he replied
I slowly stood as I trace my steps and walk out, going to lily vip ward.
