I sat down on the chair, next to Alex and his mom is seated infront of me
I dig into my food and eat stylishly, soon I was done eating, I don’t really like eating and moreover I have eat before already
“I’m done eating” I said aloud as I clean my mouth with a tissue paper and drink water
“You barely eat anything” kehlani said
“I don’t really like eating” I replied
“So that’s how you are able to maintain that hourglass shape” Isabel said
“Bro you are enjoying” Harry said
“I wanna get out of here” I whisper to Alex
“You can’t get out now cause my dad is yet to talk” he whisper.
This shit is getting boring, I just sat down there with my hands folded staring at everyone, feeding my eyes with their beauty, soon his father is done eating. I watch as he clean his mouth with a tissue and drink water
“Young lady what’s your name?” His father asked
“Lila Thompson” I replied
“Your age and occupation?” He asked
“I’m 19, a college student” I replied
“Waw you brought home this small girl as your wife, a college student” Harris said as he scoff.
“I’m in my final year” I said and smirk at Harris
“So do you love my son?” Father asked
“Yes I do” I replied
“Did he tell you that your wedding is next week?” He asked
Wedding???
So fast?? Why do they like rushing things in this family
“Yes he told me” I replied.
“And you will live here too” he said
“Okay sir” I said
“Father we are going upstairs” Alex said as he hold my hands and we will walk out of the dining room. I could hear his mom voice, yelling loud
His mom is something else hope his mom won’t force me to display my craziness to her
“You mom is gonna lose her voice if she keep yelling like that” I muttered silently
“What do you say?” He asked
“Nothing”
We entered a room and he lock the door, the room is beautiful, a glass wall that’s give us a perfect view of everywhere, I guess this should be his room
“Welcome to my room this where you are going to stay” he said
“We’re going to sleep on the same bed?” I asked
“Yeah don’t worry I’m going to use pillows to divide the bed” he replied
“That’s better” I said
“And I’m sorry for what happened” he said
“I’m not angry at least I was given the chance to reply her back” I said
“But that was too much” he said
“I’m just doing my job but don’t worry next time It won’t repeat itself” I said
“Promise me” he said
“I will but that’s if you’re mom promise me that she won’t insult my background then I won’t display my craziness to her” I said
“Just be careful, don’t be too close to my step Brothers especially Harris and the only person you can freely talk to is kehlani” he said
“Why only kehlani?” I asked
“She’s the only one I’m close too so don’t forget” he replied
“Okay I have heard” I said as I sat on the king sized bed
“I’m going to work and I might come back home late” he said
“I’m going to the hospital later in the day” I said
“Okay no problem” he said and he walk away
I went to lock the door and went back to the bed to feel it hardness, the bed is too hard, father Lord please don’t let lily die, let her wake up on time
