A DECEPTIVE HEART

EPISODE 5.
Diane woke up feeling dizzy, she managed to sit up straight and looked around only to discover she was in a strange place. She checked her phone and saw 10 missed calls from her mom and boss, she felt so sick. She tried to recall what happened and eventually laid back on the bed.
Mrs Peters came to her with breakfast but she declined insisting she wanted to go.
Alfred walked in and said to her, “I think it’s better you stay and recover before any more danger occurs”.
Anastasia supported his idea as she liked her already and so she was forced to as she could not even walk properly.
She called her mom to tell her she would back after some days, she lied that she went for an outside job with the other staff.
Andy arrived later to check up on her.
Alfred and Andy both left for work leaving Anastasia and mom behind with the guest. Diane managed to stand so she decided to make them something delicious to show appreciation and they all loved her food.
Mrs Peters spoke with Andy and they decided to go visit Diane’s parents with the excuse of dropping her off, they wanted to fix an alliance between them both.
Later that day, Alfred came back from work and was served the remainder of Diane’s food, he liked it. She felt happy seeing him eat the food, she thought to herself, “he looks good even with a Stern face”.
Anna noticed her staring at her brother and teased her,” do you want to always make food for him? You can become my sister-in-law if you wish”.
Diane only smiled and walked away, Alfred went up to his room after he was done eating but his mom followed him up. She adviced him,
“Fred, you and I know its time for you to settle down and I’ve given you enough time to roam around till you find a suitable lady for yourself, but it seems you are not working on that. I think it’s best you leave that lifestyle and get a wife”.
“I know mom, I’m working on that” He replied.
” No” she answered, I won’t let you choose from those kind of ladies who have nothing to offer you so you better listen to me, you need someone as good as Diane. I believe she is a decent and good lady who will make a good wife for you”.
