A DECEPTIVE HEART

EPISODE 6
“What do you mean mom, there’s no way that’s happening” Alfred retorted.
His mom threatened,” I’ll have you sent to your father if you persist Alfred, and for your information, the arrangements has begun” she walked out leaving him behind.
Alfred was so angry, he didn’t even understand why she was being that mean. He gave Andy a call to meet him at their favorite hang out, a karaoke bar.
After Alfred explained everything to his friend, Andy supported Mrs Peters which irritated Fred more.

The next day, Andy along with Lil Anna and her mom went to drop Diane off at home. They met her mom and commended her on raising such a good young lady. She told her their aim of coming, and further said that the man in question was very much in love with her but couldn’t make it as he was a very busy man. She promised he’d visit some other time, Diane was shocked. She didn’t believe that Alfred already developed feelings for her to the extent of marriage.

The next da, Andy invited Diane for lunch at Alfred’s office so that they could get to know each other better. Alfred responded well to this which made Diane happy, she finally believed he loved her as he treated her like a princess. She agreed to the marriage and told her mom that she was ready to marry him too.
Mrs Peters was pleased to hear such good news so they decided to start preparations, she often set dates for them both and things went well as Alfred acted nicely.
The marriage date was fixed on the 31 of March sparing them a week and some days. She wanted to make sure he got married fast so that he could finally feel a sense of responsibility and change his attitude.
Arrangements for the catering, hall and clothes to be worn was made.
The wedding hall looked so beautiful and spacious and so was their clothes. Diane would have never believed she would marry a man so wealthy, she was contented with marrying a comfortable man but it seemed fate had more in store for her.
