At this time everyone in the palace, including assassins and soldiers were evacuating and Mira blinked puzzly as she looked around.
‘What’s going on? Is there danger? What kind of danger is bigger than the Crown Prince himself?’. Mira thought looking around as she saw even servants and court maids running hurriedly for their lives, with the soldiers positioned to guard them to safety.
Then she glanced back at Sky.
“Tag along with us or go to Siju Cave Mountain”. Sky muttered before walking away and Mira only blinked profusely on the ground in puzzlement.
“Siju Cave mountain. Is that were her highness is?”. Mira mumbled then she instantly stood up and began running after Sky who was busy making sure everyone left safely.
“Siju Cave mountain is where my last is right?! Right?!”. Mira asked loudly as she disturbed busy Sky.
Who didn’t spare her any more audience as he arranged an horse for himself, and she scoffed in offence, before running out of the gate and Sky stopped what he was doing to give her a short glance, before continuing what he was doing, but he soon stopped as he sighed then jumped on the horse, and began riding it straight to where Mira was running hurriedly.
Stopping the horse right in front of her, he jumped down and began walking back to the Crown Prince’s palace without uttering a single word, or saying anything to her.
‘If she’s going to take her mistess’s dead body with her, at least she needs the ride’. Sky thought blankly as he sharply walked away while puzzled Mira stared after him, before climbing on the horse, and galloped away, though she almost fell from the horse countless times.
Mira rode the horse to the only Siju mountain cave she’s heard of.
Though she didn’t know if it was dangerous or not, but all she knew was that Mulan would surely be there, since Sky told her, even though it looked like he wasn’t supposed to.
Getting to the forest mountain of Siju, she began searching around for a cave, any cave at all and it took her up to three hours before she finally found a cave and tiredly she walked in only to be met with the shock of her life.
She saw the Shaman after making few rounds with Mulan’s dissected head, walk to place the head back untop of her neck and the rest of her body and Mira broke down in tears.
“Your highness!!”. Mira shouted loudly in pain and Shaman faced her with a sharp glare.
“This is a sacred place! No shouting!!”. The Shaman snapped loudly and Mira instantly stood up pointing her knife at the shaman.
“What did you do to her highness! Did she offend you?! Why kill her so cruelly, is she an animal?!!”. Mira screamed at the top of her lungs and the Shaman scoffed.
“If her mate doesn’t find her useful enough. Who am i. But don’t worry, since you’re acquainted with her, I’ll let you take her body back for burial.
So go do justice to your mistress’s leftover”. The Shaman said unbothered as she walked out of her cave with a jar in her hand, probably to fetch water.
“Her mate? He could have just sent you away. Why must he kill his own mate if he doesn’t want her?!”. Mira cried more.
Then she crawled to where Mulan’s body was and she only cried more as watched the body begin to fade slowly.
“The third concubine died because of her mate now you too! The moon goddess seems to be a very toxic god.
She keeps pairing the wrong people up! She first paired your mother with a married man who gave hope on ever finding his mate! And that’s why he made her his concubine, but never really loved her out of spite for the moon goddess!
