It was getting dark and they all parted to their rooms. Stanley and Jaden left for their room while Elena and Kira headed for theirs.

ELENA AND KIRA’S ROOM
Their room was a typical example of what a princess room should look like. All thanks to Kira. Their wardrobe was neatly packed and there were beautiful and glittery stickers on the walls. The duvet was a matching color to the pink wall. The room was beautiful.
Kira was doing laundry while Elena was inside. Kira had stopped her from helping and she was bored. She took her phone out and logged into her Facebook account as Elena. She clicked on the school’s group chat for students. They were all discussing on the upcoming school dinner party when Claire(one of Mitchell’s friends) started a conversation on the princess.

FACEBOOK GROUP CHAT
CLAIRE:Hey guys,are you sure princess Helen would be able to attend the party?
LILIAN:??? Come on Claire,it’s tradition. Of course she will attend
ELLA:I heard she and her personal maid traveled for an important appointment and would be back before the party???
CLAIRE:OMG??? Her personal maid is so lucky. She gets to go everywhere with the princess even outside in all those foreign lands.
ELLA:I will give anything to be the princess personal maid???
MITCHELL:Cut the crap Ella. If the princess should choose anyone to be her personal maid,it would be me. After all I’m the most beautiful girl in the school
Mitchell’s reply brought some guys into the argument
ELVIS:??? Mitchell,who told you that you are the most beautiful girl in school?
MITCHELL:Of course I am
ELVIS:No you’re not. Elena is the most beautiful girl in school
JETHRO:I totally agree with Elvis
DESMOND:? Me too
LILIAN:You guys are correct
MITCHELL:???? You all must have gone blind. Come on let’s vote
ELVIS:Yeah let’s vote
Mitchell dropped her picture and someone dropped Elena’s picture. The two pics were put in opposite directions and the votes started counting. At the end Elena’s picture got the highest votes.
DESMOND:Yeh!!? Elena won
MITCHELL:??? This isn’t fair. Goodnight I’m going to bed
LILIAN:Awwn ??? Mitchell are you backing out already? It’s simple fact so just admit it
CLAIRE:Lilian,stop teasing her
ELLA:Who cares if Elena is the most beautiful. Mitchell still has the chance to make princess Helen choose her when she is queen
LILIAN:Seriously??? How?
ELLA:When the princess becomes queen,she would have to choose a royal maiden who would be given the mark of royalty and would sit next to her in the throne room. The person chosen would be given same treatment a princess receives
DESMOND:??? Really?
LILIAN:And you think the princess will choose Mitchell????
CLAIRE:Of course
JETHRO:What of princess Helen’s personal maid?
ELVIS:Yeah is she not supposed to be the chosen one?
MITCHELL:Mtcheeew that worthless maid doesn’t stand a chance???
ELENA:That maid stands hundred percent chance Mitchell
Elena has no intention of joining the conversation before but one thing she won’t tolerate is her loved ones being insulted or looked down on
MITCHELL:??? Elena who told you that?
ELENA:No one. I know a person like you won’t stand the chance of competing with meaningful people like the maid
MITCHELL:??? Are you trying to say I’m meaningless?
ELENA:??? I’m not but you just said you are
DESMOND:Elena is so smart??? she is blowing up my mind???
LILIAN:Elena,please tell us how the maid stands a chance
ELENA:For one thing,princesses and their personal maids are very close and know quite a lot about each other. Who else will the princess choose if not the maid who has been through a lot with her?
ELVIS:I see??? What if the maid misbehaves?
ELENA:We all know no one is perfect but I don’t think the maid will misbehave and even if she does,she won’t loose her right to own that position
MITCHELL:Stop lying Elena
LILIAN:Mitchell zip it okay????
ELLA:Ah come on!!!
CLAIRE:Elena how come you know all this?
ELENA:I owe you no explanation. Now if you would excuse me,Good night everyone
The rest responded and she logged out.
JETHRO:OMG I love Elena? She is so cool???
ELVIS:Yes she is
JETHRO:I’m gonna make her mine???
JADEN:I’d love to see you try???
JETHRO:oh uhh ??? Hi Jaden
ELVIS:Hi Jaden
JADEN:What’s up guys
LILIAN:We’re good???
DESMOND:Just chilling dude
JADEN:Cool???
MITCHELL:Hi Jaden
JADEN:Mtcheew good night guys
He logged out
LILIAN:???? Mitchell,Jaden just snubbed you
MITCHELL:??? Mind your business Lilian
LILIAN:Okay ma’am. Good luck getting Jaden all for yourself but I think you should try and keep up the pace cause Elena’s five steps ahead of you
CLAIRE:What do you mean?
LILIAN:Oh my,did I say something? Good night (logged out)
MITCHELL:??????Dmn! I hate that girl and mostly Elena. She can’t take Jaden away from me
ELVIS:I think she has
ELLA:Seriously
MITCHELL:You all are nuts(logged out)
The rest chatted about other stuffs.
Later everybody went to bed including Elena and Kira.

THE NEXT DAY…
It was a Saturday and most of the students were cleaning. Mitchell was in the school field thinking of the chats yesterday. She was sad and angry too. She was also looking for who to vent her anger on. If only she could hurt Elena,she would be the most happiest being on earth that day.
Suddenly,someone tapped her shoulder and she turned and saw that it was Chris. She glared at him anger flashing in her eyes. She had not forgotten how he embarrassed her the other day.
“What do you want?” She asked
“I want same thing you’ve been wishing for some time now” Chris replied smiling
“And what is that?”
“Getting revenge on Elena”
“How do you expect me to believe you? Have you forgotten how you shoved me off in front of the whole class?”
“I’m sorry about that but I did it to make Elena think I don’t like you”
“So you were faking?”
“Yes. I want to teach Elena a lesson as much as you. So please let me help you and let us have our revenge”

Mitchell was elated at the thought of seeing Elena suffering
“Tell me the plan Chris”
“I will tell you but first I need you to answer this question”
“What question?”
“Can you swim?”
