She turned to Derrick and cried on his shoulders
It was finally over
Her uncle was gone. Never to be seen again. What would Tasha think seeing her own cousin kill her father
Helen went to Tasha who stood by the door
“I’m sorry Tasha. I…I killed him” Helen cried
Tasha pulled her into a big hug and patted her back while crying too
“It wasn’t your fault Helen. You did what you had to do. If you had let him live,he might have killed you all and wouldn’t hesitate to kill me either” Tasha said
“Aren’t you hurt? He is still your father” Helen said
“I’m terribly hurt but not for his death. I am hurt because he died in his wicked ways. If only he had changed,this wouldn’t have happened” Tasha sniffed
Helen was still crying as Tasha went to Zaki’s corpse. She bent down
“Just imagine the way you died father. You wanted to wipe out the entire royal household why? Because of wealth, position and fame. Look at what it has cost you. I warned you but you never listened now you’re gone to a place of no return. I hope God forgives you” She said and stood up in tears
Chris walked over to where she stood and hugged her patting her back
“There, there, it’s okay. Stop crying” He comforted her
She looked at the guy she has been secretly crushing on with glassy eyes and burst into tears again. He continued comforting her while Derrick comforted Helen. Stanley just stood there watching the scene and shaking his head.
After the whole crying scenario and the princesses were finally comforted and stopped crying, Derrick walked up to Chris
“Chris?” He called calmly
“Yes Prince Derrick”
“I just want to thank you for your help in rescuing the princess. I know we don’t really get along but that can change. Thank you once more” Derrick smiled at Chris for the first time since they knew each other
Chris smiled back. It really felt good to help other people instead of destroying their joy.
“I am glad I could help my prince” Chris bowed and Derrick hugged him
After that,Helen came to him
“Thank you so much Chris. I would have hugged you but there is blood stain on me” She smiled
“It’s okay. I don’t mind” He hugged her briefly and let her go before Derrick will shoot glares at him
Stanley cleared his throat
“Am I not getting a hug?” He said
“Of course you are” Helen hugged him
“Let’s go home” Tasha said
They took Zaki’s body and dropped it in the car booth then headed back to the palace of Gatrish.

THE PALACE
The King refused to eat nor drink. He was only pacing to and fro worrying about his daughter and the people that went to save her too. His wife was also in coma due to the shock. He was silently praying to God for their safety when he heard his precious jewel calling his name
“Father” Helen called running to him
“Princess” He cleared his eyes and gave her a big hug not minding the blood stain on her
“Are you hurt anywhere? You’re completely fine right?” He asked turning her around
“Just some minor injury but I will be fine” She said
“Kira,the Princess is back” The King shouted making Kira run out of the Queen’s chamber to hug her
“Thank goodness you are alright” Kira said
“You know I’m covered in blood right?” Helen asked
“I don’t care. Let me hug you first” Kira said and continued hugging her
After that she took Helen, Olivia and Tasha in for a refreshing bath while Helen kept asking for her mother.
After they had left, the king faced Derrick and the rest
“Thank you all so much for rescuing my daughter and Olivia”
“It was our pleasure your majesty” Derrick said
“So where is that monster?” The King asked in disgust
“He is dead your majesty and is in the car booth” Stanley replied
King Darius sighed
“Take me there” He got down from his throne and they took him to where Zaki was

THE PRINCESS ROOM
Helen,Olivia and Tasha just finished freshening up and changing their clothes.
“Let me get you ladies something to eat. You must be famished” Kira said and wanted to leave
“Kira” Helen called and Kira turned
“Yes my princess”
“Where is my mother? I’ve been asking about her for a while now and no one wants to answer me. What’s going on?” Helen asked
Kira sighed
“Talk to me”
“I’m sorry my princess but the Queen is in coma. She got a stroke immediately she heard you were kidnapped”
Helen stood up
“Where is she?”
“She is in her chamber. She has been unconscious and hasn’t woken up” Kira explained
Helen rushed to the room while Olivia and Tasha followed suit along with Kira
Getting to the Queen’s chamber,Helen ran to her mother’s bed in tears
“Mother I’m sorry. It’s my fault this happened to you” She cried
“It wasn’t your fault Helen. Stop blaming yourself” Tasha said
“But she wouldn’t have been in this condition if I wasn’t kidnapped”
“Stop crying my princess. She will be fine.. I’m sure of it” Olivia said
Helen held her mother’s hand
“Wake up mother. I am back and alive. Nothing happened to me. The evil one has been taken care of. Feel my hand mother. Your daughter is back. Your precious jewel is alive” Helen said
She felt her mother move and slowly opened her eyes
“Helen” Was the first word that came out of her mouth
“Mother” Helen hugged her gently
“You are alive?” The Queen asked
“Yes. Look at me. I’m here with you” She couldn’t contain her joy
The Queen smiled and hugged her
“Call the doctor immediately” Helen ordered and Kira left to make a phone call
The King and others heard that the Queen had woken up and rushed in
“Thank God you are awake. I was hell worried” The King said holding her hand
She just smiled
Just then,Tasha’s phone rang and she went aside to pick it up
It was her mother calling
?Hello,Good evening mother
? Evening dear. I’m back
Tasha’s eyes widened
?Y…You’re back?
?Yes. I am at the mansion now and couldn’t find your father. I was hoping he was at the palace. Where are you now?
?I am at the palace
?Is your father there? I need to see him. His line hasn’t been going through since yesterday evening
?Don’t worry mother. I am coming home right now
?Okay. Please come quickly
?I will
Tasha hung up and ruffled her hair.
“This isn’t good” She muttered and went into the Queen’s chamber
“I have to leave now. My mother just returned from her journey”
“She is back?” Helen was surprised
“Yes. Don’t worry,I will handle everything” Tasha assured them
“Let me come with you” Helen said
“No don’t come for now. I will explain things to her and get back to you”
“Okay” Helen nodded
Tasha bowed and left.

MASTER ZAKI’S MANSION
Tasha drove into the compound and entered the house. She saw her mother having a glass of wine
“Welcome Tasha” Her mother smiled and gave her a hug
“I missed you mother”
“I missed you more”
“Where is my little brother?” Tasha asked
“Oh…he is sleeping” Her mother smiled
“Okay” Tasha grinned
“Can you tell me where your father is now?”
Tasha sighed
“Is anything the matter? Hope he is fine?” Her mother asked worriedly
“Father is dead” Tasha said
“You said what?”
“Father is dead mother”
The glass cup in her hand fell and shattered to pieces
