“I’m pretty sure he won’t come out” Gavin said with his hands folded
“why? Is he sick?” I asked
“no, but he’s like the laziest creature in Scalia. He’s the only one that has the guts of not working according to the Queen’s orders. She can’t do anything because he’s her son. But he’s stupid” he said as he stared forward
“so the Prince is not coming out?” I asked again
“yep” he replied
I sighed
Why would she give her own son preferential treatment when she can’t do the same to others.
It’s so unfair
I crossed my arms too
Someone swam to my side
”you should definitely not cross your arms” the person said
I looked sideways to see a handsome dude
Whoa
Scalia got some cuties
Mehn….
I quickly dropped my arms
“thanks” I said without looking at him
The queen began to talk without the Prince present
“Zaire has sensed the presence of twins in the ocean. But the presence got scrambled up so we can’t feel them anymore. If you are twins from the kingdom we besieged, then you’re in deep trouble. I won’t stop until I get to you and ruin you. So be warned and don’t try anything stupid” she said and immediately left
People began to leave
“I wonder why she hates twins this much” the guy beside me said
“I… I don’t know” I said, I wanted to tell him it’s because of their special powers but I didn’t want to implicate myself
“by the way, I’m Ken” he said as we swam away
“I’m Anna” I replied and looked around
No sign of Gavin
“uhh, Gavin.. Gavin.. Gavin where are you?” I asked looking around
“you mean that guy” Ken said and pointed to a direction
I looked and guards were kicking Gavin and he was fighting back
But they were overpowering him
“Gavin” I yelled and tried swimming there
Ken swam after me and held me
“stop, you’ll only make it worse” he whispered and I watched them take an unconscious Gavin away
I felt angry and sad
“what’s going to happen to him?” I asked
“it depends on the crime he committed.” Ken replied
“but he fought back” I mumbled
“I hope he gets lucky” he replied and turned me away
We swam outside the castle and I saw my mother somewhere, alone
“is Gavin your friend?” Ken asked
“he’s, my cousin” I replied
“I see you’re from the other kingdom because I don’t know you around here”
“yes, I am” I replied
“I’ll see you some other time” I added and bowed
“be careful” he said and I smiled and swam away
I swam to mother
“mother, where’s Brianna?” I asked
“they took her” she said sadly
“whaat!” I yelled
“keep it down Liliana, let’s leave this place” she said and took my hand
We swam farther away from the castle
“where is Gavin?” she asked and I sighed sadly
“he’s, he’s been captured too” I announced and she weakened
She sat down immediately
“mother” I said as I held her hand and sat down
“my children” she muttered
I hugged her
“but what exactly happened to Brianna?” I asked
“a guard took her for his selfish reasons. He said she was beautiful” she answered
“they mess with the wrong person” I said coldly, with anger building inside of me
They have no idea what anger does to me
My powers pop out uncontrollably
“we have to get them back” mother stated
“is there a way?” I asked
“yes, there is”

Brianna
I’m going to snap this merman’s head off his neck
He’s messing with the wrong person
I’m actually tied up to something that looks like a palm tree
And he’s trying to molest me
“I’ll just take off your shell” he said and moved to my front
He tried to touch my shell bra but I burnt his hand with my eye lasers
He yelped and fell backwards
“you mess with the wrong mermaid” I stated and burnt off the ropes with the lasers from my eyes
He watched me with eyes of disbelief
I freed myself and swam towards him
He tried to swim away but I lassoed his tail with my vines
I pulled him back and he fell on the floor
“I can’t let you implicate me you know” I said and sat beside him
I began to search his body
I saw some weird stuff that has to do with royalty I guess
Then I tucked him up neatly on something that looks like a bed
Then I knocked him out so he won’t remember what happened
I hid all the things I took and swam out
“I don’t even know where to go. Maybe I should ask about Gavin’s house”

Liliana
“no, wait mother. Brianna is out. I can feel it” I said and swam outside
She followed me
“where is she?”
“somewhere around there” I replied pointing to my right
“let’s go” I said and held her hand
We swam towards the direction where I felt her presence
I looked around
“she’s supposed to be here” I stated
“looking for someone” Brianna said behind us
I swam and hugged her
Mother too hugged her
“what happened?” mother asked
“they messed with the wrong person” Brianna replied and we laughed and swam away
“Gavin’s been arrested?” Brianna asked in disbelief
“yes, but we have to get him back” I said
“how, sneak into the cell and hypnotise the guards then make them open his cell so he can come out” Brianna blurted out sarcastically
And I smiled because that’s exactly what we’re going to do
“as a matter of fact, yes” I replied and swam to the window
“oooo…kaayy…. How are we gonna do that?” she asked with raised brows
“if the two of you are together, you can do it. You just have to look at them, close your eyes and see them doing what you want then when you open your eyes, they’re already hypnotised” mother answered
“what other twin stuff can we do?” I asked as I swam back to them
“lots of things. You just have to make up your mind and do it. Like disguise yourself as someone else and mimic their voices” she answered
“whoa” Brianna exclaimed
“cool, can we try it now” I asked
Mother chuckled and swam out
“maybe we should follow her” I said and we stood up and swam out too
A group of guards were gathered in a corner laughing so hard
“ugly things” I said, mimicking Gavin’s voice
We laughed and hid in a corner
“now, you mimicked Gavin’s voice perfectly. That’s very good. For us to get into the dungeon, we have to look like guards totally” mother said
“let’s try it” Brianna said and we peeped at the guards
We closed our eyes and opened them again
“jeez, I’m a merman” I said with a masculine voice
Brianna was also a merman
We were just like the guards
“best powers ever” Brianna whispered
We turned to mother and held her arms like we were dragging her
“away with you” I said and we giggled
We frowned and swam out towards the guards
“what did she do?” a guard asked
“I caught her blaspheming the queen” Brianna said
“hahaha, you’re in deep trouble” another guard said and they laughed very hard
We took mother away towards the dungeon but left her somewhere without taking her in
We swam into the place and I sensed him far away
“this way” I said and we swam towards that direction
“hey, where are you going?” a top guard asked
“uhh, checking the prisoners” I replied
“how many times have I warned you lower guards not to go to that side of the dungeon. Since you’re proving stubborn, I’m going to punish……….”
I didn’t allow him finish his speech before I electrocuted him
He fell down unconscious
“you talk too much” I said and Brianna laughed
Good thing we were in the hallway, no one could see us
We took him up and sat him down somewhere
“when he wakes up, hell forget what happened” Brianna said and we swam away
We kept checking the cells
Different people
“let’s check this one” I said and we checked in
There he was, arranging his hair
“when I’m I getting outta here?” he asked without looking
“come with me” I said and opened the gate
“please, I don’t want to be a stone. Just let me go back to my mother” he pleaded
“Gavin, it’s Liliana and Brianna” Brianna whispered
“what, ugly things?” he whispered back and we nodded
“let’s go” I said and disguised him as a higher guard
“whoa, awesome” he said
“you’re a higher guard, so if anyone asks why you brought us here Just cook up anything” Brianna said
He nodded and we swam out
Luckily, no one asked us any questions
We swam towards the corner mother was
We changed back to our normal form
“mission accomplished” mother said and hugged him
“hmm, maybe we should just deal with Kintora once and for all. She can’t keep ruling this way” I said and Brianna nodded
“let’s do it” she said

Keisha
Before we can defeat Kintora we need to bring down her source of power and that’s Zaire
But Zaire is really strong
There are some things that we have to get before we can bring her down
“first, we need to get back to the shore and look for a very rare stone in the sand. It’s big and red and somehow reflects. Liliana, it would be easy for you to get it since you can sense. The rest of us will just hang around her” I said and they nodded
We sneaked out when it was already late.
We went to the shore and became humans
But it was already late so we needed shelter
“this is Miami right?” Brianna asked
”yes, this is the same shore I brought you two when you were born” Gavin replied and they smiled
“awesome, so awesome” Liliana said
“let’s lodge in one of the hotels here then we come here tomorrow morning and search” Brianna said
“I’ll use the telephone and call mom so she can pay for the hotel” Liliana said and I nodded and we walked towards the city

Its morning already
We’ve started searching
Liliana is doing must of the searching
I’m just going around drinking a tropical smoothie
Miami is really fun
Like where all the clubbing originated from
Some handsome guys are staring at me

I walked in the sand with my bare feet and the breeze blew my hair about
I saw a bartender, giving drinks to some girls and the way they were smiling and flirting, it’s obvious he’s handsome
I actually need more of this smoothie so he might be of help
He turned and I wanted to call him to come over but I stopped
It’s Zeus
“OMG, Zeus” I yelled and he looked at me
“Brianna ” he called and dropped the tray on a table
I ran to him after dropping the glass
I hugged him tight
“Brianna, I missed you” he said and disengaged
I smiled brightly as he held my face and kissed me
I saw the girls looking disappointed
“Zeus, you’re in Miami” I said
“yeah, I got a job here” he replied as he held my waist
“Liliana and my cousin are here. You should say hi to them. Come on” I said and pulled him along to meet mother and the rest
