CHAPTER 3
The Vikings cartel**
The girls drove in slowly and came out of the car weakly with their bIoody mouths
Zelda is beyond shocked when he saw them that way
“What happened?” He demanded
“We’ve never been treated like this before, they both bashed us crazily especially the mad girl, she told us to tell you you’re dying soon” one of the girls said though not very audible cos of her lost front teeth
“A girl?” Zelda said
“Yes, she’s small in stature but when it comes to fight, she’s not small”
” Could it be….that little mosquito girl?, brown hair?” Zelda said
” Exactly, we’re leaving, not to ever come back again” the leader of the girls said and they got in the two cars again, they drove off
“She defeated the Japanese girls?, She defeated judo experts?, Who taught her?, Brandon?, Oh Brandon you’re playing with the tail of a cobra” he said and went in furiously
” Call Reagan” he ordered and a guy left to call her
She came immediately and Zelda sat down, smoking hard
“Prepare all that is needed for the dark night party and tell me when everything is set, be done before tommorow afternoon” he said
” Yes boss” she bowed and left
May is already waiting for her by the door
“What did he say?” She asked
“He told me to prepare everything needed for the dark night underground party” Reagan smiled
” Dark night party, underground casino, I strongly believe only a few will come out of the casino alive on Friday” May said
” You can say that again, even Zelda won’t come out alive” Reagan smiled.

Next morning**
Brandon woke up and felt better though a little weakness is still persisting but it’s better than yesterday
He felt arms around him and opened his eyes to see Nirvana beside him, still asleep, her hair was rolled up and thin strands of it stood out on her face, it makes her look cuter that early morning, her face looks completely like that of a baby and he smiled lightly before pecking her on the lips gently
“Forgive your Brandy, I won’t do it again” he said as if she can hear him
He pecked her hair too before carefully taking her hand away from his body, she got down from the bed and entered the bathroom to brush first before going to the kitchen, he started making her favorite and halfway through it, his phone rang
He picked the call and waited for Zelda to talk
“If not that I’m sure that I was the one who impregnated your mother, I’d have called you a ba$ tard” Zelda said
” Reminder, you called me that severally already” Brandon replied
” How dare you lie to me, how dare you make a fool out of me!, telling me Berry and Sandra Millions are dead!, you even sent me fake pictures of their dead bodies” he said
” Cos you’re a fool who can be easily deceived, Dolly has been a spy in your cartel for close to three months, she’s Stone’s immediate sister but your dumb head couldn’t figure it out till yesterday, how foolish” Brandon replied
” And you dare allow your little mosquito to do that to the girls I sent”
” Should I have allowed them to touch someone I love?” He replied
” Love?, Brandon how dare you talk about love, it’s a distraction!” Zelda yelled
” And how dare you blackmail me to do your orders!” Brandon said
” What!”
” I know you’ve been blackmailing me, Cosby told me everything before his de ath!” Brandon replied
” You killed him?, You killed Cosby?”
“Of course I did, he’s the one who changed the coffee cup two years ago and you were lying that you have a video which is all a lie, you made me feel guilty for what I didn’t do, you used me for two good years Zelda, you rapped my mother to produce me, you made her partially blind, she went crippled on a wheelchair cos of you and she died in your place too Zelda and if there’s any wish that I can wish to come true right now, it’s for you to die hundred times” Brandon replied
” Listen you, ok now that you know the truth, what are you gonna do to me” he said
” I don’t tell my plans to fools, just be rest assured that soon you’ll die…. gruesomely” Brandon replied and hung up
He badly wanted to start smashing things out of anger again but the fact that Nirvana is still asleep kept him grounded and he doesn’t want to wake her
He continued cooking and soon it’s done, just as he started dishing, Nirvana came out of the bedroom, dressed to go out already
“You’re awake?, Did you sleep well?” He asked and she nodded before coming to him, she badly wants to hug his shirtless body and rub his tattoos but she folded her hands till she got to him
She felt his temperature by touching his forehead and when she felt it’s back to normal, she sighed
“How’s the body ache?” She asked
“Better” he replied, staring into her pretty eyes
“I’m going to the museum” she said
“I cooked for you, eat and I’ll go with you” he replied
“I don’t want to eat, and you need to stay at home and rest, make sure you take your pills, I’ll be right back” she said and left the house Immediately
Brandon went after her but she’s already in her car, driving off by herself
“She….. can drive?” He wondered

Nirvana pretended like she drove off to the museum but when she stayed at the juncture that led to the street for a while, she drove back to her house and entered slowly
All the memories of grandma is still there, she imagined her sitting in the living room as usual and she imagined herself coming home late and getting scolded by her
She smiled and imagined her in the dinning room, telling everyone not to talk while eating
She rubbed her hands on the dinning table and sighed then went upstairs to Kara’s room, she imagined her sleeping peacefully on her bed and imagined herself pecking her cheeks
She walked around her room and started gathering her pictures that were hanged on the wall
She went to her closet and saw the pins, one is her date of birth and the other one is the date of the day she graduated from elementary school
Tears almost came out of her eyes but she held it as she came out of the room and left for her room
She packed all her clothes into a big bag and her shoes into another then her bags and her jewelry box
She took her picture frame as a kid and the one she snapped with Kara, she broke the one she snapped with Grayson and started packing all the bags out one by one
After packing them out into the car, she came back in and fell on the couch, deciding to rest there till she’s contented since this might be be her last time there

7pm**
Brandon is expecting her already and he’s restless as hell
He checked the time and decided to call Paxton since she has not been picking her calls
“I haven’t set my eyes on her today” Paxton said
“What!”
” Why?” Paxton asked
” She told me she was…… don’t worry I’ll sort it out” he replied and hung up
He immediately heard a car zooming in outside..
He went out and when he saw it’s her, he breathed in relief
She came out of the car and opened the booth, she started bringing out bags
“Where have you been?” He asked
“My house” she replied
” But you told me you were going to the museum, I got scared when Paxton said you weren’t there” he replied
” I’m sorry” she replied without looking at him
She tried carrying one of the bags but he took it from her
“Go in I’ll take it all” he said and she went in without making the slightest eye contact with him
He started packing in the bags till the last one and after packing in everything, she came out of the shower in only her towel and looks so irresistible, too irresistible that Brandon has to try and control his hands since it seems she’s still mad at him, he wants to talk but he has no idea of how to start
“Stop staring” she said, snapping him out of his thoughts
“Why?” He asked
“It makes me feel uncomfortable” she lied
“Since when did my stare started making you feel uncomfortable?” He questioned
” I dunno” she replied
” Why are you still like this?, I thought I said sorry countless times already” he replied
” Why did you not tell me cos you don’t wanna see me sad?” She asked
” Nirvana stop trying to pull words out of my mouth it’s unfair!” He said loudly
” No you should tell me why you care a lot and why you don’t want to see me sad Brandon….
“Because I love you!, I’m head over heels for you Nirvana!, Every seconds it’s always you in my head and no matter how much I try you just won’t leave my head!,..
” It got to a point and I thought I’m crazy cos I had no future plans but since it started happening I started dreaming of a future with you, I can’t think straight anymore! and anytime you’re beside me my heart won’t beat the same way it used to, I don’t know how it happened but I just know this is what is called love…I’m insanely in love with you” he said slowly but seriously, staring deeply at her
“You said?” Nirvana said unbelievably, her heart is thumping uncontrollably already at what she just heard
“I love you!, I mean…I fell in love with you somehow and….I just can’t help it when you’re too cute to get over….” He said, suddenly finding it hard to look her in the eye..
