CHAPTER 57

Nirvana rubbed Brandon’s back till he finished puking and he rinsed his mouth with water afterwards
“You nearly killed me” he said, facing her
” I’m sowwie” she said childishly with a funny pout
“Fk you” he said, leaving the restroom while she followed behind
“I won’t say damn you” she replied
“Your choice, you seriously call that pasta puttanesca?, It’s poison, it’s not soft, did you even cook it for three minutes?, And no salt at all, all the ingredients you added didn’t penetrate too” he said, picking the plate from the table and entering the kitchen, she entered with him and he threw the plate in the washing zinc
“So what do we eat?” She asked behind him
He looked back at her
“Unbelievable, you can only cook noodles, I just knew it, and you’re always talking about marriage” he replied
” I’m so sorry darling, don’t be mad at your little bug” she said
Brandon smiled secretly at the cuteness before facing her again
“Farrell can cook right?”
“Sure” she replied
“Then after everything is settled, meet with her and tell her to teach you” he said
” That’s unfair, it’s something you can teach me” she replied
“I don’t want to” he replied
” Why?”
“We’ll end up rom ancing in the kitchen instead of learning how to cook” he replied and she chuckled
” That’s not bad you know” she winked
“Don’t try to se duce me right now it won’t work” he said and she laughed
” You’re so full of yourself, even when you know I have the only se duction that works on you, if I take off my clothes here now, you won’t be able to resist me” she said
” Oh, I’m outta here ” he said and rush out of the kitchen while Nirvana laughed loudly
The doorbell sounded and that wiped off her smile, she got the gun out of her bum short pocket and walked to the door before remembering that a door camera has been installed in the morning when they were away
She returned the gun and checked the camera to see the girl from the boutique
“Must have come with my dress” she smiled and opened the door
“Did you see the alert already?” She asked
“Yes Miss” the girl replied and handed the box over to Nirvana
“I added the red shoes too since you payed for it” the girl said

“Thanks” Nirvana replied and closed the door
She went into the bedroom with the dress
Brandon is leaning on the window, smoking as usual
“I need air freshener in this house” Nirvana said, opening the box
” Check it out darling, it’s so stunning isn’t it?” She said, showing it to Brandon who just looked back
” It’s just what you need” he said
“I know right?, What are you wearing?” She asked
” Normal shirt and trousers, I might add suit anyways” he replied
“Wear white shirt, red trousers and red suit” she replied
” We’re going to face tigers, not an engagement party” he replied
” Just joking, but I’ll pick your dress for you” she said
” I’ll go make something, I’m starving” he replied and left the room with his smoke
Nirvana dived into his second closet and found different suits he hasn’t even put on, it still has the price labels
The cheapest is 100 million dollars, they’re expensive!
“He has all these but prefers to go around in jean jacket and trousers, he only wears simple corperates when going to the hospital, how boring” she thought as she tried to pick one
They’re all attractive so picking one is difficult
She came across Maggie’s picture and picked it slowly
She smiled and touched her face in the frame
“Don’t worry ma’am, I’ll take care of your son, I promise to learn how to cook so I won’t make same mistake again, I really want to be a good wife to him when the time comes, I want to continue making him happy and I’ll do that till death do us apart, how are you doing up there?” She said and smiled again
” He’s a carbon copy of his mum, no wonder he loves her so much” she thought
She pecked Maggie’s cheeks in the frame before dropping it
She picked a wine suit on a black shirt and wine trousers
“This should go together” she thought , taking them out
She got to the living room and sweet aroma is already hanging in the air
She sniffed it till she got to the kitchen with the suit
“Here, what do you think” she said and he turned back
“Bad combo” he said
” Must you always be so straightforward?, You can’t even cover up and make me smile” she said
” I was joking, can’t you tell jokes apart from seriousness?, How dumb” He said
” He insulted me again, just cook and eat it yourself I’m not interested” she said and left the kitchen, pretending to be angry
“How obvious” Brandon said and concentrated back on what he’s cooking
After a while, he finished cooking and dished his meal then brought it to the dinning to eat
Nirvana is in the living room, still faking anger
Brandon started eating and knowingly made loud noises with his fork on the plate just to attract her
Nirvana expected him to talk to her for minutes but he didn’t
She stood and walked to the dinning then took his plate of food
“I hate you” she said and rushed into the bedroom
“Hey if you touch it I’mma $kin you alive” Brandon replied, running after her
Nirvana dropped the food on the stool and blocked it
“Why are you disturbing my peace” he said
“Cos we’ve not kssed since we came back” she replied
“Seriously?, want water to come out of your middle again?* He replied
“Come on” she replied
“Not now, let’s go train together” he said and her face lightened up
“I love the sound of that” she said and led the way out to the training ground
” I’ll specify in different majors tommorow, gvns, arrows, knlves, ¢ombats” she said
” Cool, let’s ¢ombat” he replied
” I’m not ready to die young” she replied
“I’m not God, try it” he replied
” You sure you won’t kill me?” She replied
” I won’t be so cruel to myself to the point of killing my heart” he replied and made her blush heavily
He made a pose and told her to attack
She attacked with a knlfe and he started dodging, she’s madly fast, so much that before he ducks one, she’ll make another move
She almost succeeded in $tabbing him in many instances but thanks to his sharp instincts too
She bends, stretches and rolls fast like an expert and later slightly wounded him though he didn’t let her know, they just continued till they’re both tired
It’s clear that she won’t be able to defeat him, at least not yet
He stood and started training on his own, pulling car tires with a rope on his neck, two at a time… running between roped and lifting weights, jumping from the highest place in the place to the ground them somersaulting faster than before
Nirvana stood that moment and joined him when he’s about to start shooting
She picked her gvn too and they both finished off the mannequins in front of them before they stuck hands
“Can you throw a b omb?, set a it’s timer and diffuse it” he asked
” Robot taught me everything trust me” she replied simply
” All thanks to him, you’re just too perfect” he replied
“Carry me please…I can’t walk I’m too tired… Please don’t say no” she said
Brandon carried her like she requested and took her to the room
“It’s past 12 already?, We spent three hours there, let’s shower together” Nirvana said
” Stop kidding” Brandon replied and took her into the bathroom
He dropped her and pecked her before she’ll ask for it.
“I love you” she smiled
“Fking mutual” he replied and winked before leaving
” He makes me wanna do things with him, gosh!” Nirvana smiled, entering the shower
