** IS IT A HAPPY ENDING **
? ONE WEEK LATER ?
“I don’t want you to go” Marie muttered as she walked to where the chopper was with Romeo.
“I also don’t want to leave you and junior but I really can’t get out of this one have been pushing every work back for you and Junior but I can’t do that anymore” Romeo replied.
“This is when Blake is needed, he should be the one going on the trip”
“His father is sick and he is with him right now, I just hope they get along before it’s too late” Romeo muttered.
“Get along? Did he have a fight with his father?” Marie asked.
“He did. Blake says that his father is into something shady and he didn’t agree with it so he came here to start his own business and that’s when we formed up partnership and build this company of ours” Romeo explained.
“Oh! Well I hope he reconcile with his dad and I also hope that you come back as soon as possible, I miss you” She said.
“That fast?” He asked.
“If I had my way you won’t be leaving ” Marie said and he smiled before kssing her deeply.
They were still kssing when someone cleared his throat loudly.
“It’s time to leave sir” the second pilot said to him and reluctantly he let go of Marie and she stood watching the chopper take off.
She didn’t know why she felt uneasy and she’s been feeling that way ever since he told her of this sudden trip.
Four guards were walking her back to the car when she got a text.
*COME TO ME OR I WILL MAKE YOU*
It’s the same unknown sender again, she’s been receiving this text three days ago and it’s because of it that she feeling uneasy.
It must be Willow doing and she knew that he’s just trying to scare her but she wouldn’t fall for it.
She’s been ignoring the message anytime he sends it but now she will give him a reply.
* GO TO H£LL WILLOW. NOTHING YOU DO NOW WILL MAKE ME LEAVE THE MAN I LOVE FOR YOU!!”
As soon as that was sent she blocked the number and got into the car which took her straight home…
She was about munching on a snack when her phone began to ring and thinking it was Romeo she picked the call, putting it on speaker.
“Hello my love” she greeted enthusiastically.
“Is that really meant for me?” Willow voice wafted through the phone and due to the shock she felt she screamed and threw her phone away.
“Don’t be alarmed I only called to tell you something” he continued talking.
“What exactly do you want? Why won’t you just leave me alone!” Marie yelled into the phone.
“That leaving you alone part won’t ever happen cause you belong to me and we will be together” he said.
“That will be in your dreams cause I won’t ever be yours” she said fiercely.
“Well it’s your choice but I called only to tell you that Romeo is now is the hospital”
“What?”
“Haven’t they called to tell you that his chopper fell off and he is now in the hospital”he said.
“That’s a lie” she said and just then her phone showed another incoming call, a call which must probably be from the hospital.
“They will call you soon and when that happens you will come to me yourself cause you would want to keep Romeo save and the only way to keep him save is by coming to me, I will only stop from klling Romeo if you come to me yourself” he said.
“That will never happen! Go to Hell”she said as she end the call and immediately dialled the unknown number which was answered only to confirm her fears.
Romeo had indeed been involved in an accident and all through the way to the hospital she kept thinking about him.
As soon as she got to the hospital she was urshered into his ward where she was told by the doctor that he only suffered a slight injury since he hadn’t been wounded much when the chopper fell into the sea.
They had given him sedatives and it will be until the next day before Romeo wake up.
A nurse walked into the room and while she began doing her thing Willow called her again.
She quickly move to stand in front of the window before answering.
“What do you want?” She asked.
“You” Willow replied.
“And I don’t want you! I told you already to stop with your madness. Leave me alone ” she said controlling her voice.
“You seem to take me as a joke right? The nurse currently with your husband do you know what she is injecting into his drip bag?” Willow asked and she turned to see the nurse injecting something into Romeo drip bag.
“It’s a deadly drug. I heard that with just a little of it in one’s bIood, you die immediately” Willow said and immediately Marie ran towards the bed, she pushed the nurse out of the way and removed the Drip bag from Romeo’s vein.
“What were you going to do to him?” Marie yelled and immediately the two guards positioned by the door way walk into the room.
“I…..I didn’t mean to, it’s just that I needed the money and the only reason why I agreed to do it is because they made clear to me that he will be safe” The nurse replied in fright.
“The reason am not going to call the police on you right now is because you were only used but the next time you try something like this, I will personally take you there myself” Marie said and the nurse nodded and thanked her severally before leaving the room.
“Wouldn’t it be best to have her arrested Mrs” one of the guard asked.
“It will but that wouldn’t make me feel at peace” she said and urshered them to leave.
Her phone beeped for a message and she knew who it was even before she read it.
*IF YOU DON’T COME TO ME NOW, MORE THINGS WILL KEEP ON HAPPENING TO ROMEO, I CANT EVEN GUARANTEE IF HE WILL STILL BE ALIVE THE NEXT DAY*
*SO COME TO ME AND ROMEO WILL BE FREED FROM DE.ATH. ONE OF MY MAN WILL BE WAITING IN THE LOBBY TO BRING YOU THAT IS IF YOU DECIDE TO COME*
Marie sat down on reading the message, she knew Romeo life will keep in being in danger if she doesn’t go to him, he had managed to the damage the chopper which led to the accident and he even used a poor nurse just for his selfish reason what he will do next will certainly be worse than either of this two and that is something she doesn’t want.
If going to Willow will put Romeo in safety then so be it she thought as she picked a piece of paper to leave a message for Romeo.
At least he should know that she’s with him rather than to think her dead or gone, she thought as she finish writing.
She placed it right on the table beside him and kssed him on the lips.
“Am sorry my love but I have to leave” she muttered before kssing the sleeping Romeo one more time.
She told the guards not to follow her and went straight to the lobby where she found a man waiting and in no time she was taken to a car.
The drive to Willow hide out wasn’t that far, infact it was close to the hospital which was a bit shocking for her.
“There you are My love” Willow said as soon as she walked in.
Wrapping his arms around her and though she tried to resist, he kssed her on the lips.
“You have no idea how much have been missing you” he muttered lu$tfully.
“Even knowing that am carrying Romeo’s child” Marie asked disgusted by him and everything that surrounds him, she just can’t believe that she had once thought of him as a friend.
“The child isn’t going to be a problem since you will be having an ab.ortion ” he told her.
“What? Do you think I allowed you to come back into my life only to watch you have someone else child? No! My children will be the only child you have and so as soon as we get to Africa you will be having an ab.ort….”
“Africa?” Marie asked astounded.
“Egypt precisely, Romeo won’t be able to find us ” Willow said as he tightened his hold around her.
“It will just be the both of us and no one else” he said kssing her neck softly.
“Now give me your phone we don’t want Romeo finding us and also we will be leaving tomorrow, everything you need have been bought. We will be using the train tomorrow” he said.
“Why the train?”
“So we wouldn’t attract attention, I want you to enjoy every moment with me and that will begin tomorrow” Willow told her.
