Dembe returned and Christiana got the things she came back with,
“How are you feeling today? She asked.
“I’m better now ma, it won’t happen again, Christy replied and she laughed.
“You are funny, who are you to stop it from happening? She asked and Ochen came out.
“Welcome mom, he greeted hugging her and Christiana left to keep the things she came back with.
“Thanks son, hope school wasn’t stressful today? She asked.
“Not really but bored because Bale didn’t come with me, he replied.
“He didn’t? But why? She asked surprised.
“Well he complained of weakness and not feeling too well, he replied.
“And he didn’t let me know about it? Where is he? She asked.
“In his room, he replied and Dembe left to check on him.
She opened up and met him with his laptop and a headphones on,
“Bale! She called out and he turned to see his mom behind him..
“You’re back mom? Welcome, he said taking off the headphones and she sat beside him.
“How are you feeling now? Why didn’t you let me know you were sick? She asked.
“Well you were more interested in your visitor or guest that you didn’t notice, he replied.
“I don’t understand, you are to tell me rather than keeping quiet, how am I to know? She asked.
“Well I’m fine now, maybe my body needed a day break or something, he replied.
“Son, if anything is bothering you, You can always tell me, don’t keeping things to yourself I’m no spirit to notice, she said touching him..
“You always noticed, but that was then I think, now someone else has taken over the place, he replied.
“Son you won’t understand, she said.
“Then make me understand, why is a stranger staying with us? What is her purpose here in this house because i don’t like her, Bale said and Dembe heaved looking at him.
“Don’t be like this son, I cant send her out of the house now I’ll be so heartless if I do that until she get a place to stay, she said.
“Then what’s the point? Don’t worry its fine, Bale said and put back his headphones to continue with what he was doing and Dembe slowly left the room.
“Ma are we cooking? Christiana met with her.
“Ermm yea sure, can you cook? She asked.
“Honestly ma I can’t, she replied and Dembe smiled.
“Just help out, I’ll join you later, she said.
“Okay ma, Christy said and left and Dembe got into her room.
Bale heard that and slowly met Christiana in the room and chuckled at her back and she turned.
“So you can’t cook? Hilarious, Bale said standing by the door.
“With time I will, she said.
“Don’t worry let me show you how to do that, the way you are keeping your hand doing that you may hurt yourself, he said going closer.
“Don’t bother please I can do it, Christiana said frightened.
“Are you scared of me? Common I just want to help, he said and got the knlfe from her and took the vegetables smiling at her.
“Why are you doing this? She slowly asked.
“I’m just bored that’s all. So tell me Christiana, why didn’t you come to the room? He asked back.
“Because that’s not my room and you a guy, she replied.
“What did you think I wanted doing with you? He asked.
“No idea but then its not advisable I do that, she replied.
“Too bad I wanted showing you an application i just downloaded in my laptop to keep you busy, but your corrupt mind told you another thing right? He asked.
“I know nothing about application, she said.
“And I know that and is obvious you’re naive and backward, I wanted showing you stuffs that can enlighten you, he said.
“In your room? If you really wanted to why didn’t you bring it out? She asked.
“So what about it? I can get sx anywhere if I want to okay, Bale said and dropped the knlfe looking at Christiana who was shaking already.
“Even if I want it with you, consider yourself lucky at least, he said looking down on her and left the kitchen immediately.
Christiana sniffed as she walked him walked away and she turned to continue with what she was doing.
Dembe joined her later in the kitchen to carry on with the cooking,
“I forgot to ask Christy, how old is your pregnancy? She asked.
“No idea ma, she replied.
“I see, how many months have you been sleeping with your teacher? She asked.
“3 months ma, Christy replied.
“Uhmmmmm, Dembe said looking at her and Christiana faced down.
“I’m sorry it won’t happen again, she whispered.
“Its okay, you need to start going to the hospital to make sure your baby is okay, she said.
“Ma I don’t have the money, Christy said looking up.
“I know that but I’ll take Care of it, she said.
“Thank you so much ma, Christy said almost going on her knees.
“Nah stop that, and you’re welcome, okay now add a pinch of salt, taste and tell me what you think, Dembe said and Christy quickly took the can of salt.
Unknown to them Bale heard their conversation and got more angry when he found out Christiana is pregnant………….
