“So is really you? Wow long time and you haven’t changed yet, he said looking at her with his hand in his pocket while Christiana faced down.
“You too, she slowly replied Still not looking at all.
“Its late, what are you still doing out here at this time of the night? He asked.
“Ermmm nothing, she replied.
“Are you sure? And do you mind if I help out? He asked and Christy swallowed and held her bag strong.
“Okay I’ll drop you off, its dangerous here and I don’t want anything bad to happen to you. Common let’s go, he said and turned his back to leave and Christy slowly followed him behind and got into his car.
“So how have you been? You don’t look bad anyway, he said but Christy was quiet.
“Won’t you ask about my mom? He asked again when Christy ignored and she looked at him..
“How is she? She asked.
“And Ochen? Don’t you Care about them anymore? He asked again.
“Where are they? She asked.
“Well Ochen is fine and still not in the country, and as for my mom, she’s in heaven, he replied and Christy eyes bulged out.
“In…in heaven? What do you mean by that? She asked and Bale smiled.
“you’re educated aren’t you? I expect you to understand what I just said, he replied and Christy covered her head on her palm.
“Rest in peace ma, oh my God this is so painful, Christy said and Bale looked at her.
“So have you found your missing daughter yet? He asked and she raised her head with a sad look and ignored him.
“Okay can you at least tell me where I should drop you? Because it looks like my presence is eating you up and is better I let you go, he said and she heaved.
“Thank you, she slowly said.
“For what? You don’t want to talk to me, or are you still angry with what happened in the past? I thought it was behind us already but is like you still remember all of it, he said.
‘No that, is just that I find it embarrassing you are seeing me like this after so many years, she replied.
“So where were you heading to? He asked.
“No way, I am stranded and I know no place here, she replied.
“Can i help you? I need to ask for your permission first you know, he said and she nodded.
“Yes please, she replied.
“Alright, thank you, he said smiling at her………..

Mukasa got in drunk that night and Regina who slept on the couch waiting for him woke up when he knocked on the Door.
“Stupid girl! Who asked you to lock the door huh! He shouted hitting her on the head.
“Sorry daddy it was late that’s why, she replied holding her head and he staggered in.
“This is my house, leave the door open next time! He shouted and wanted going to his room.
“Daddy school fee, my teachers send me home today, Regina said and he stopped.
“School what? What do you know about school to begin with? He asked looking at her.
“Daddy please pay my school fees, my classmates are laughing at me in class, Regina said.
“And so what? I don’t have any money so get out! He shouted and went in and Regina sat down shedding tears…………

Pius couldn’t leave the sitting room after Achen went in, he lost the boldness to face her despite she hasn’t caught him with another woman, but the handwriting was clear and this time he couldn’t deny it.
Pius slowly walked into the room and touched Achen who was sleeping,
“Get your filthy hands off me! She barked.
“Look dear I’m sorry and I understand you’re mad and I won’t blame you for being mad. But please let me explain, he said.
“Explain? Oh just stop it! You don’t have anything to explain to me, just tell me who she is, Achen said.
“No one dear no one believe me, he said and Achen scoffed.
“Just get out of here else I’ll leave the room for you, she said.
“Please give me the chance to make it up to you, please just let me explain. I agree I left work early but I traveled to the western region, there’s something I want to do there and I wanted it to be a surprise to you, he said.
“Spare me the lies will you? I’ve had enough of it! She shouted on him and he held her.
“I have an ongoing project there, I’m building a hotel there and it will be big, the biggest in that region. That is the woman taking my time, attention and everything and I rushed down today to see how the project is going on there. please if you don’t believe me I’ll take you there myself, he said and she looked at him.
“Trust me please, I was keeping this as a surprise on your birthday, because we will celebrate your birthday there in a grand style, he continued and Achen felt weak.
“How I’m I sure this is the truth? Are you playing with my head feeding it with lies again? She asked.
“This lie can’t be faked, tomorrow we will be there so you will see it for yourself though it won’t be a surprise anymore. I Love you baby and you know that, he said and hugged her.
“I am your wife and you should stop making a fool out of me, for crying it out Yuh hurt met today and made me stupid, she said.
“I know and I’ll make it up to you, happy anniversary to us, and its been wonderful having you by my side with our princess, he said and Achen smiled.
“So how will you make it up to me? She asked and Pius licked his lips.
“Let’s start on bed with till the morning breaks, then leave the rest to me, he said romantically touching the hand of her nightie and Achen laughed crossing her hands over him and kssed him………..
Bale arrived with Christiana and they came out from the car and got inside.
“Is this yours? She asked looking around.
“Yea simple and nice right? He asked back and she nodded.
“Sorry there’s no food at home, I hope you’re not hungry? He asked.
“No I’m fine, thank you, she replied.
“Alright I’ll leave you to rest because i can see you are tired. Will you sleep inside? he said.
“No don’t do that, good night, she said.
“Good night Christiana, are you sure you will be comfortable here? He asked.
“Yes please, she replied and he slowly went in.
