The next morning Bale woke Christiana up holding a tray of bread and tea for her,
“Arise and shine Christy, good morning, Bale said while Christy sat up cleaning her eyes.
“Its morning? She asked and he nodded keeping the tray beside her.
“You shouldn’t have done this, sorry I slept too long, she said.
“Its okay, I saw you were tired yesterday when I picked you up and yea, I have to do this because you’re my guest, he said.
“Thank you, she said and saw the time.
“Going somewhere? He asked.
“Yes I had a job as a cleaner in a nursery school, I just hope I won’t be late because I am to start today, she replied.
“Is almost 8a.m, Cleaners by right should be done cleaning before the pupils come in.
And before you’ll finish your breakfast and clean up, you will be far behind time, Bale said and Christy mood changed.
“I really need the job and I just lost one no matter how small it is, how will I survive in the capital with no job Nor a house now? She sadly asked.
“I can get you one if you want, he said.
“No no you can’t, and thanks for everything I won’t be able to repay your kindness. I’ll just go out and see if I can find something to do, she said and Bale said.
“You don’t get it do you? You can work for me and I’ll pay you, is there any problem with that? He asked.
“You have a company? She asked.
“Oh no if that’s what you think. I own a school, both nursery and secondary here in the capital and I try to make it cheap for every parent to afford.
Though I still base in the western region but I drive down here from time to time to see how it is going and make sure everything is in order, he replied.
“Okay that’s nice, but I didn’t study education, it will be difficult for me to get employed because I have no experience in teaching, she said.
“That’s no problem, just eat your breakfast before it gets cold okay, he said and went in and Christy heaved……………

Regina got herself dressed up for school the way she could and Mukasa walked into her room,
“Good morning daddy, she greeted.
“Morning. Where do you think you are going to? He asked.
“To school daddy, she replied.
“Did you pay the fees? He asked.
“No daddy, she replied.
“Then why are you going when you’ll be chased out? He asked.
“Daddy I will beg the teachers to let me stay outside and hear them teach, she replied.
“Stupid girl you won’t school there anymore, I can’t afford the fees. I heard of a school that the fee is affordable and that’s where I’ll get you registered. Common let’s go, he said taking her hand but Regina began to cry.
“Daddy please I don’t want to leave my friends, she said.
“Will you keep your smelly mouth shut! Who cares about your friends huh! Will they pay your fees for you? He shouted on her.
“Daddy please I love my school, Regina said.
“Nonsense! He said and dragged her along with him…………..

Done eating, Christiana dressed up and drove off with Bale to the school.
“Its beautiful, she said coming down from the car.
“This is the nursery part, will you love it here? He asked.
“Yes yes, I love it with children, she happily said.
“I thought as much, okay let’s go in, he said and they went in together.
“Which age grade will you love to take care of? I can make you as an assistant teacher, you may not necessarily teach but help control the kids, Bale said when they got into an office.
“Age 5-6 years will be okay for me, she replied.
“Won’t it be stressful there for you? I heard thats where the hard work is, Bale said.
“No is fine by me, I just want to be there, she said.
“Okay if you insist, let’s go to the class then. The age grade you need has 2 classes, we divided it into A and B, you’ll be given the A class alright, he said getting up and Christiana nodded happily and followed behind.
Mukasa arrived in the school with Regina, and angrily beat her when she couldn’t stop crying.
“Take it easy on her sir, a teacher said and got Regina from him.
“She’s so annoying, why can’t she understand that I need to enroll her here. I can’t afford other school fee yet she don’t understand with me and keep her mouth shut , he said.
“Is alright sir I understand, but all children cries this way when they change school, the lady said.
“Whatever, and where can I get her registered? He asked.
“Come with me, she said and carried Regina while Mukasa followed behind. Minutes Regina was seen crying coming out from the office as she was taken to her class and Mukasa left and promised to come back for her.
Christiana was just introduced to her children as the assistant, and she friendly asked to know their different names one after another. Still doing that they saw Regina passed crying,
“What’s wrong with her? Christy asked the head teacher.
“I think she just got registered, but don’t worry she will be fine when she begin to make new friends, the head teacher replied.
“Okay kids, where did I stopped? Christy asked to continue knowing their names.
During the break period Christiana left the class to look around and she saw Regina alone sitting in the class.
She saw the teachers concentrating with the books and she walked in and greeted them..
“You work here? The head teacher asked her.
“Yes, I’m in the next class as an assistant, Christy replied.
“Alright you’re welcome, I have to concentrate on this you know, the head teacher said.
“Oh please go ahead, I only wanted to say hi, Christy said and she nodded.
“See you later then, she said and Christiana then walked up to Regina and gently touched her hair,
“Your hair isn’t combed why? Christy asked.
“Because my mom isn’t here to do that, Regina replied.
“Will you mind i do it for you? Christy asked.
“No, she replied and Christy nodded.
“Okay why don’t you go out to play? Or don’t you have snacks to eat? Christy asked and took her bag but Regina grabbed it from her.
“I don’t have any snacks and I don’t want to play. Please leave me alone, Regina said and Christy drew back.
“Okay I just want to see you happy, i saw the way you cried this morning, please cheer up okay you’re too beautiful to frown, Christy said but Regina covered her head on the desk.
“Don’t waste your time with her, she’s so naughty, the head teacher said to Christiana.
“Is fine, okay see ya, Christiana said and left the class………

Cynthia kept calling and Pius kept ignoring and sent her a text,
“Can we cut the way we see each other now? My wife almost found out about us yesterday. I’ll send the money I promised so please stop calling, He sent and Achen stood behind him..
“what are you doing in my kitchen? She asked and he laughed.
“I want to make it up to you and prepare a delicious meal for us. I hope you’ll like it, he said and Achen smiled and attempted to go near but he stopped her.
“You don’t need to see the food face until I uncover it on the table. Now go Darling, get yourself cleaned up and wait for me alright, he said giving her a peck and Achen left.
Cynthia replied back the text,
“Is that so? I won’t hear your voice too because of your WIFE huh? She sent and Pius heaved when he saw that.
“Why can’t you understand with me? Every calls I make is suspicious to her, if you really want us to continue in this then you should understand and comply with me, he replied her, deleted the text and switched off his phone………
