“Hey are you mad at me? Not even a welcome or something? Cynthia asked keeping the baby on the sofa.
“Are you still asking that? If you wanted leaving why do you have to sneak out from my aunt place like a thief? Do you know you just disrespected my aunt and that’s embarrassing, He said and she rolled her eyes.
“I don’t like the place and besides she wanted me to leave anyway, she replied.
“That is not true, I know my aunty, he said.
“Who cares? I’m back home okay, now deal with it, she angrily said.
“And what if you were caught? He asked.
“Well I wasn’t caught because I didn’t steal the baby but you did, do you really think you can lock me up there because you’re scared of being caught? Here is your daughter, now take care of her, she angrily said and left to the room and he looked at her and sighed.
The baby gave a little cry and he carried her,
“Hello Abigail, welcome home, he said but the cries increased.
“Ssshhh what’s the problem? He asked petting her but it wasn’t helping matters.
“Cynthia! Can you please make the baby to stop crying? I don’t know what to do anymore, he called her.
“Well you should have known Better before taking her away from her mother in the first place, she replied inside.
“Don’t be like this please, she’s crying a lot and you can hear her, he said.
“I am not her mother and let me make myself clear, because I accepted her in this house doesn’t mean I owe her any obligation.
You better start looking for a nanny for her, i won’t take care of that bch child before taking Care of mine, Cynthia said coming out from the room.
“Do you realise is my baby we are talking about here? He asked.
“Do you need to remind me of that? I gat a stressful day today and I need to sleep. Any food? She asked but he shook his head ignoring her and tried making her calm, while she smirked and went in again.
“Are you hungry? Hold on, he said and searched through Cynthia handbag and brought out a feeding bottle.
“Do you take it warm or cold? Gosh this is crazy, he talked to himself frustrated……………

Days passed and weeks passed, and Mukasa was not still found.
Christiana was broken and every encouraging words Patricia, Dembe and everyone gave fell on deaf ears.
“Christy you can’t continue like this, its 1 month already after Mukasa did this, but you cant keep mourning for him, Jendy said.
“I’m not mourning for him, I won’t even mourn for his funeral! Christy shouted.
“Sorry i was talking about your daughter, how long will you continue like this? Just look at you, Jendy said and Christy sniffed.
“Mom what do you want me to do? Christy asked.
“You need to go back to school, Jendy replied and Christy stood up from where she sat..
“How can I go back to school when my brain isn’t calm in the first place with everything that has happened? do you think i will cope? She asked.
“Yes you will, or will you end up like this? That won’t stop you from looking for your daughter, but you need to do something for yourself, Jendy said and Patricia walked in.
“Still sucking Christiana? Patricia asked.
“I was just discussing about her studies before you walked in, Jendy said.
“And? Patricia asked.
“She doesn’t want to, Jendy replied.
“Seriously Christy? You need to be a better person to fight this, do you think Mukasa will be afraid of you when you two will finally meet if you are still that gullible and naive Christiana he used to know? Patricia asked.
“So going to school will stop this? Don’t forget all of this happened still in school but he still did this to me, Christy said.
“So what you’ll accept defeat? You’ll keep sulking for the rest of your life and you’ll be the loser here? Sorry to say, then you’re not reasonable and you haven’t learnt anything yet if so, Patricia said and Christy heaved and paced around.
“No matter how hard it is Christiana, you need to get up and be a better you, Jendy said.
“I noticed you both are not concerned about my daughter anymore, is just me being a Better person right? Is that all you care about? Christy asked.
“You don’t still get us, your daughter is with her father, what about you? Imagine you sulking all your life and not educated, and then you get to see her tomorrow, do Yuh think she will accept you as her mother if you come out tattered, illiterate and not responsible? You need to be a better mother your daughter will be proud of, you may never know what Mukasa will feed her with against you.
That’s why you need to get prepared and equal to whatever you may face tomorrow, and Crying all day won’t do that and you know it, Patricia said and Christy looked at her surprised.
“Yes dear she’s right, Jendy concurred and Christy slowly sat down.
“Will I ever concentrate? I’m behind my mates already, She calmly said.
“I know, if you want you can come with me to Jinja and school there, I’ll take care of it, Patricia said.
“Friend are you serious? Jendyose asked surprised.
“Yes I want to help her out, she’s my daughter too don’t forget, Patricia replied and Jendy happily hugged her.
“I’ll support you in anyway i can, thank you so much best friend, Jendy said.
“You’re welcome, Patricia said and they looked at Christiana to hear from her.
“So when I’m i starting? Christy asked and Jendy smiled and sat beside her.
“Next week, you’ve made the right decision dear and don’t worry, when the time is right you will see your daughter, Jendy said.
“And she will be proud of me right? Christy asked.
“Of course she will, Patricia replied……….

Mukasa got a nanny for the baby as Cynthia was not interested about the welfare of Abigail.
One of days Achen visited her there in the capital,
“Look at you girlfriend, pregnancy looks good on you, Achen said giving Cynthia a peck..
” I’ve missed you so much, what took you so long to visit? Cynthia asked and Achen smiled and showed her finger.
“This baby girl, Achen replied and Cynthia screamed.
“Seriously? Oh my God congrats dear, she said hugging her.
“Thank you, Achen said throwing her hair backwards.
“So who is this lucky dude that caught you so fast? Cynthia asked.
“Well I met him in a club and ermmm… Everything just happened so fast and he proposed to Me last week. The guy is so sweet, unlike the hit and run guys coming my way, he surprised me, Achen said and Cynthia laughed.
“God I’m so happy for you, do you have his picture? I can’t wait to see him and know what he looks like, Cynthia said.
“Common girl, on my wedding you’ll see him, Achen said.
“Girlfriend look at me, do you think I will make it to the wedding? I’m almost due and when will it be? Cynthia asked.
“Yea that’s true, is in two months time, Achen replied.
“My husband will be there dear, I’m so sorry, Cynthia said.
“I understand you don’t need to explain, here is he, handsome right? Achen asked showing Cynthia her phone and her blood ran dry.
“The father of my baby? She said in her heart……………..
