Episode 50.

Pius sat outside Catherine room thinking hard as Catherine words kept repeating in his ears.
“Achen came back yesterday bruised and not looking fine, she revealed all my secrets with Cynthia which only means she met Cynthia.
But she holding a gvn against Cynthia, where could she get a gvn? And again she told me she was going to see her brother, and her brother is aware I was cheating on his sister and he alone has a gvn.
No no, it shouldn’t be what I’m thinking please, but no, why did Achen run away? Does she knows something about this? And where is Cynthia? He asked and suddenly got up like someone being possessed and ran into Catherine room again.
“Sorry baby but I need to ask you another question. The bad man who took you and your mom, you said he made you sat beside him right? He asked and she nodded.
“Okay, can you describe him? You must have seen his face just tell me a little description about him so I can find your mother, Pius said.
“Light in complexion and he keeps hair, that’s all I know, she replied and Pius swallowed and nodded.
“Do you know him? She asked.
“Ermmm no, there are many men who are light skinned here, but if you see his picture will you recognize him? He asked.
“Yes, she replied.
“Thank you, he said pecking her and was about to leave.
“Tell mommy I’m missing her already, take my mommy away from him, he’s a bad man, Catherine said and he nodded and shut the door behind him..
“Achen brother did this, the description fits you perfectly! He shouted and approached a nurse.
“Please can you take Care of my daughter? I’ll soon be back, he said.
“Don’t worry she’s safe here, the nurse said.
“Thank you, he said and hurried into his car and drove off.
He called up Achen Brother on the way and he picked up,
“What is it? He coldly asked.
‘I know what you did, what were you thinking when you attacked my daughter and her mother huh! He shouted on phone.
“What rubbish are you spitting out and who cares about your daughter? He asked.
“you alone knows better and if you still want to deny it, don’t forget you know the law and my daughter recognizes you very well as the one who took them yesterday. Where is Cynthia, where is she! Pius shouted and he laughed.
“You’re so stupid Pius, don’t forget I am a cop too and what prove do you have to support this allegations against me? Your daughter is just a kid, and if she likes she can point at me a thousand time, without a single prove against me, this allegation is a complete failure.
I can see my sister leaving you is making you crazy already, don’t try to call my number again you bastard! He shouted and dropped the call on him and Pius angrily hit the steering not knowing what next to do……..

The young guy who picked Cynthia and Catherine in his cab was badly shaken when he experienced such a thing. After being pointed a gun and his cab smashed on the side, he knew they were in great danger but he was too scared to report to the cops.
He sat in his house $hivering still not believing what happened yesterday evening and he saw the news about Catherine that morning.
He closed his eyes when he recognized her and laid down forcing himself to sleep so he won’t dial the number shown on the screen.
“You didn’t see anything, the words from Achen brother kept repeating in his head.
He got up immediately angry with the thought of his taxi damaged by him, and he called up the number.
The cops after leaving Pius that morning to investigate more on the case received the call,
“Hello, I’m I speaking with the cops? He asked.
“Yes who’s speaking? A man voice was heard.
“I’m a taxi driver and I recognize the little lost girl. I carried her together with her mother but we got attacked on the road, as I speak their properties is still in my car, he said.
“Wait, where are you now? The cop asked.
“Please I’m so scared to show myself, I don’t want to get involved but my conscience won’t let me be knowing I can help find them, he replied.
“You don’t need to be scared, just tell us where you are and we will meet you there if that’s what you want, a cop said.
“Okay okay, he said and dropped his house address with them.
“Thank you, the cop said and he dropped the call still scared………

Pius called up Cynthia number again and it was picked up,
“Hel…he…. Hello! Pius shouted when the place was noisy and he quickly parked his car by the side.
“Hello please, are you close to this lady? A woman voice was heard.
“Yes why? What happened? He asked.
“Sorry we found her dead in our farm, looks like she was strangled or something, she replied and Pius blood ran dry as he dropped the phone staring into space.
“What did the caller say? A man there asked.
“He dropped the call and I can’t call him back because the phone is on security, the woman replied.
“Let’s call the cops else her body will begin to decompose here, looks like she was dumped here in the night, another said.
“Okay okay someone should call up the police, the woman said…….

Pius covered his head on the steering after the call and began to cry,
“Cynthia who did this to you? Who did this to you? He cried and felt weak to drive anymore.
He called her number again and after two rings the woman picked up,
“Please where did you see her body? He asked and the woman told him the address.
“We just called up the cops now, please hurry else she might decompose, the woman replied and he dropped the call and drove down there.
The cops who just arrived at the guy place hearing him out got the call from them and their face changed,
“What is it? The cab guy asked.
“A woman is found dead and from their description I think she’s the one you’re talking about, a cop replied him and he drew back more scared.
“Oh no! He said.
“Its okay, no harm will come to you, we will just hurry down there and see it out. Please you’ll come With us to identify her in case we are mistaken, a cop said but the cab guy shook his head.
“Trust me you’re safe With us, and again we will take her properties from you, we were able to see the father of the girl, a cop said and he reluctantly accepted…………..

Pius arrived and found a little crowd gathered there which made it easier for him to locate the exact spot, he made his way in and saw the body covered with a cloth which he attempted to open it up.
“No you can’t, we are waiting for the cops to arrive, a man stopped him.
“Please I was the one who called her line, Pius said and a woman came near.
“Is it you? She Asked and he nodded.
“She’s the mother of my child, he replied.
“Sorry about that, the woman said and he gently uncovered her face and broke down crying on her holding her tight.
He was held away from her as he struggled with them,
“Cynthia! He screamed out…………
