Episode 52.
Mukasa rushed in and asked of his daughter from the policemen,
“Calm down, who is your daughter? A cop asked.
“Catherine, Catherine Mukasa, I’m her father, he replied and the cops looked at themselves.
“Yes we had a little girl by name Catherine, she was found on the road and fell sick, so the kind couples took her to the hospital and informed us about it. But she’s safe now with her father, a cop replied.
“With her father? What are you saying? I just told you I’m her father, and that girl is my daughter who the h’ll came out to claim her! Mukasa shouted.
“She wasn’t claimed, she confirmed he’s her father and they ……….”cut it and take me to my daughter! This is my daughter, he said bringing out his wallet and showed them the picture of his family and the cops slowly took it from him looking at it.
“Who is this lady to you? A cop asked Mukasa.
“She’s my wife, he replied and the cops looked at themselves again.
“Let’s go, the cops said and they got into their car and drove off to the hospital.
The doctors were quite busy to attend to Catherine, Pius used the opportunity to talk with his daughter more while they waited for her to be discharged.
The cops arrived and quickly stopped a nurse,
“Is the little girl still here? He asked.
“Yes yes, but she’ll be discharged soon, why? The nurse asked.
“Thanks, a cop replied and left her to the room.
They opened up and saw Pius With her,
“Welcome, Pius said and stood up and Mukasa walked in and was shocked to see him..
“You! Mukasa shouted and gave him a heavy blow pinning him on the wall while the cops held him.
“How dare you want to take my daughter from me after taking my wife from me, how dare you! Mukasa shouted pointing at him while Pius cleaned him mouth saying nothing to him..
“Daddy! Catherine shouted and Mukasa hugged her on bed.
“Sorry baby I’m here now, Mukasa said and the cops watched confused.
“Who’s the father of this girl? I am talking about the biological father here, a cop asked.
“Are you still asking? I am the father, Mukasa replied.
“She’s not your daughter Mukasa, Cynthia should have been the one to tell you this, Pius said.
“Shut up you ba$tard! Who cares about you and that bch? You think I’m not aware she was cheating on me with you? Mukasa said and Pius rolled his eyes and looked at Catherine and shook his head.
“Yes she was, I won’t deny that, and that should ring a bell in your ears that Catherine is not yours! She was pregnant for me before she got married to you, she hid it from me when you came back to her after you two broke up, she didn’t want to hurt you, so? Pius asked and Mukasa slowly stood up approaching him and a cop came in between them.
“You are saying sht, I only broke up with her for 2 months, Mukasa said.
“And she took comfort else where for those months, so we didn’t start today, Pius said and Mukasa attempted to hold him but the cops held him.
“Stop it! Will you two do this in front of this child? A cop angrily said.
“I’m done talking here, baby let’s go home, Mukasa said and attempted to carry Kate.
“You won’t do such thing, she isn’t your daughter don’t you get it? Pius shouted.
“Baby who is your father? Mukasa looked at Catherine.
“Keep her out of this man, don’t let her get involved, Pius said.
“I wasn’t talking to you now shut up! Mukasa shouted on him..
“Okay okay, I think there is only one solution to this problem, and that is to do a DNA test to know who the father really is, a cop said.
“What! I can’t believe this, Mukasa said.
“I’m sorry you have to, this isn’t easy too for the little girl. You heard him yourself, she had an affair with him when you two broke up for a while, anything can happen my friend and its only a DNA test that can prove it, a cop replied and Mukasa looked at his daughter.
“Where the hell is Cynthia? Where is that bch tell her to come out and face me herself! Mukasa shouted and the cops bowed their head.
“Why is anyone not saying anything huh? Is she hiding? Mukasa asked and Pius made an eye contact with the cops for the sake of Catherine.
“Okay fine let’s go see her, the cops said.
“I’m not leaving my daughter, Mukasa said.
“Sorry sir, no one will have her until the test is done. Looks like she will continue to be in our custody, you both can only visit her but won’t claim her till we see the result, a cop said and Mukasa smirked.
“This is insane, I need to… I really need to meet that Lucifer in a woman, he said pacing around and calmly hugged Catherine.
“I’ll come back for you okay, he said and pecked her.
“Daddy, Catherine said not knowing who she should call, and a cop was left with her in the room as they left…….

Catherine began to cry and the Man sat beside her,
“Its okay, who did you grow up with? He asked.
“Daddy Mukasa, she replied.
“Do you like daddy Pius for a father? He asked.
“I don’t know him for so long, but he looks good, she replied.
“Who do you want to be your real father? He asked.
“I want my father to be my father, she replied and he nodded.
“Where is my mommy? Catherine asked.
“Your mommy? Oh she’s busy and erm… Don’t worry you will soon meet her, he replied.
“Its strange, mommy has never left my side, she said.
“Is she always with you in school? He asked.
“No, but its getting too long since i haven’t seen her, she said and he cleaned her face.
“Don’t worry you’ll see her, lie down okay and have your rest. Should I get you something to eat? He asked and she nodded.
“Okay what’s that? He asked.
“Ice cream, she replied and he smiled.
“Do you eat chocolate too? He asked and she nodded.
“I’ll go get it for you okay, just don’t leave the room I’ll be back, he said covering her neatly and left………….

Mukasa, Pius and the cops arrived at the mortuary and Mukasa looked around,
“What are we doing here? He asked.
“Well this is where she works, Pius said and came down first which the rest followed and they went in together.
A cop met a man there and talked to him while Mukasa stood looking at Pius having a bad feeling about the place.
The cop and the man he was talking to approached them,
“Let’s go, we want to go see Cynthia, a cop said to Mukasa and he confusedly followed them behind.
The man stopped and opened a door and they slowly walked in, Mukasa walked in last and saw Cynthia lying straight.
His mouth flew open as he slowly walked to her afraid to touch her,
“Cynn…..Cy…. Ahh ahhh, he muttered going down and the cops held him up.
“You should realize where you are now, we have to go, the cops said and held him out while he wept outside.
“I’m sorry, a cop said and he looked at Pius.
“Is that so? You’ve taken her finally, is Catherine next? He asked.
“I have nothing to do with this and i never told her to leave you, Pius said.
“So how can you explain this to me now! Mukasa screamed.
“Catherine is my daughter and that’s all I know I’m sorry, we are both going to have that DNA test, and If It turns out that I’m not her father, I promise I will hands up and apologize to you, Pius said and Mukasa fiercely looked at him and a cop touched him.
“I know its painful but you have to calm down, you have no choice, he whispered in his ear.
“Where are we having the test? Mukasa asked and a cop heaved.
“I’ll both take you a standard hospital and hear from them yourselves, let’s go, a cop said and they got into the car and drove off…………

Christiana got home with Bale in tears, she ran out of the car and went in before Bale could come out from his car.
“I’m sorry Christiana, but why does it look like your past is knocking now i have you? I won’t let you go back to it, you need to forget about it and think of nothing else but me, he said in his heart and made a call.
“Hello Bale, a man picked up.
“Good evening sir, Bale quietly said.
“Yea evening, how are you? He asked.
“Fine sir thank you, I noticed you all are so busy now considering the case that’s on ground, he said.
“Yea that’s right, from one confusion to another, he replied.
“Can I meet with you tomorrow? I’m so interested in the case if you don’t mind i want to know all about it, Bale said and the man laughed.
“you’re so funny, anytime you want to talk about it just let me know, he said and Bale smiled.
“Thanks sir, I’ll let you concentrate on work then, bye, he Said an dropped the call.
He came out from his car and went in, he saw Christiana cuddled on the sofa.
He went near and hugged her but she slowly pushed him away,
“Why? I just want to comfort you that’s all, Bale said.
“I’m fine you don’t have to, she said.
“Common Christy you’re crying, I can relieve the pains you’re feeling, he said gently touching her face and she got up.
“I’m sorry i need to rest my head now, we’ll talk tomorrow, she said.
“Wait, won’t you at least eat something? He asked getting up with her.
“I lost my appetite, she replied and left for her room………….
