Episode 56.
Pius arrived home and Achen peeped and saw him coming out from his car, her heart began to panic but she had to keep up the pretence and sat down crossing her legs.
Pius got in and looked at her which she returned the look back saying nothing to him, Then Princess ran out and hugged him.
“Daddy welcome, she said as he carried her up.
“Where did my baby go? He asked pecking her..
“Mommy called it a vacation, daddy why didn’t you come too? She asked back..
“Sorry you didn’t tell me on time so I couldn’t make it, he replied.
“Okay daddy maybe next time, she said.
“Okay baby go to your room, I’ll meet with you later okay, he said keeping her down and she ran back.
Achen was still quiet pretending to watch the television and Pius sat opposite her,
“So you’re back? He asked.
“Only for the sake of my daughter, she coldly replied and he smiled nodding.
“That’s good, did you see the news? He asked..
“You know I don’t fancy the news, what about it? She asked and Pius cleaned his mouth.
” so you mean you’re not aware your friend is dead huh? He asked and she looked at him.
“I don’t remember me having a friend, so who are you talking about? She asked.
“Cynthia is dead! And don’t tell me you’re surprise to hear that after you attacked her with a gun same day she was found dead! Pius stood up shouting and Achen smiled.
“Little wonder your mistress is dead and you’re accusing me now for what huh? What business do I have to do with her death and what right do you have to accuse me that way Pius with no prove! She shouted back.
“Oh yes I do, you held a gun at her in her house and her daughter saw you, and also your brother was seen, he said and she smirked.
“You’re a shameless fool Pius and I’m regretting I returned back with my daughter to meet this mess. What do my brother have to do with this? She asked.
“Was he not with you on the same day Cynthia was attacked? He asked.
“He has nothing to do with that bitch and take my brother out of your mess! She shouted.
“Was he not with you on that day? Answer me! He shouted and she stood up and faced him.
“You’re so pained and I can perceive the stench of it, whosoever killed her did a good job, at least she didn’t die in my hands else I would have made it more miserable for her. Don’t underestimate my brother that way, he gat better things to attend to and not to run after your bitch, rubbish! She shouted and went in while Pius looked at her angrily and sat down rubbing his head.
Akello sat in his office and had a call from his superior,
“Meet Me in my office immediately, he said and dropped the call.
Akello sat thinking about it and slowly left his office to his superior.
He knocked once and entered, but saw few cops from another station already in his office.
He saluted his superior and composed himself boldly,
“You asked to see me sir, Akello said while his superior looked at him with his finger on His chin.
“Yes, do you know them? His superior asked.
“No not at all, Akello replied.
“Okay, they are from the capital and they have an arrest warrant with them, his superior said.
“Arrest warrant for who? Akello asked.
“You have to come with us to the station for questioning, a cop replied.
“What questioning is that? I mean what rubbish is this? Akello asked.
“Calm down and don’t make this too difficult for us, we respect you because you’re one of us so don’t push us hard. I’m sure you’re familiar with the name Cynthia Mukasa, we need to question you about her death, a cop said and Akello smiled shaking his head.
“Who is she? I don’t know her and sorry you got the wrong person and I’m not going anywhere, Akello said.
“Akello is just a questioning, you don’t need to resist if you have nothing to do with it, I’m sure it will be a simple interaction and that will be all, his superior said and Akello looked at him.
“You mean to say Sir I should go with them over some flimsy accusations? He asked.
“Akello just go and clear the air, tell them what they need to know and forget this ever happened. You can leave my office, his superior said and they saluted him and the cops looked at Akello as he slowly left the office and they followed behind……….

Pius got a call that Akello has been taken,
“Interrogate him well, don’t let him go free this time I’m very sure he is behind this, he said.
“Sure, the cop said.
“If you don’t mind, can i be there too in case he wants to act wise? Pius asked.
“No problem, the cop said and dropped the call and Achen came out looking at him.
“Who is taken? I hope that’s not my brother? She asked.
“And what do you care? Let me just make this clear to you, if you were part of Cynthia death, get ready to rot in jail with him, Pius sternly said and stormed out.
“Pius! Pius how dare you! Achen shouted but he slammed the door hard and she paced around biting her finger nails and called up her brother but he wasn’t picking up……..

Bale drove back to the school and went back to His office thinking,
“I need to do something about Christiana, I don’t want her to bring any bastard child to ruin my plans. I need to separate her with this girl before she founds out herself, i don’t know how she will react when she comes back to her life, i don’t want that to happen, he said and the bell was heard.
“Its closing time already? He asked checking the time and heaved covering his head on the table when he saw it.
Christiana was more happy with the bell, and she quickly went to Regina class and winked at Her as a signal. Regina got up and hanged her schoolbag to leave the class,
“Come here Regina, make sure you do your homework with the corrections, else you’ll be severely punished tomorrow, don’t dare me, her teacher said when Regina wanted leaving the class and she nodded.
“Bye madam, Regina calmly said and met with Christy with a sad face and Christiana carried her cleaning her face.
“Don’t think about that okay, I’ll help with your assignment, let’s go, Christy said and took Regina to her class.
Regina greeted the head teacher and she was surprised to see her,
“Is this not the cry cry baby? The head teacher asked.
“No not anymore, Christy replied smiling and Bale walked in.
“Time to go miss, Bale said and Christy walked up to him.
“Please Bale can you go without me today? I have something to do here in school, she replied.
“What’s that? He asker.
“The girl, I arranged to teach her after school, she replied and Bale rolled his eyes.
“No i won’t allow that, the gate will be locked and you can’t stay here alone, he said.
“But the gateman stays here, he can lock the gate when we are done I spoke with him already, she said.
“No Christiana you won’t do that and you will listen to me, he sternly said and Christy looked at him.
“Is there any problem with that? I want to help the little girl so why stopping me now? Okay fine i won’t have it in the school, I’ll teach her at home, she said.
“And i said you won’t do it, meet me in the car right away, he said and left the class. Christiana turned and looked at Regina and the head teacher who was looking at her,
“If you want, I can teach her for you, the head teacher said.
“No, Regina said with a sad face and Christy touched her.
“I won’t give up, let’s go, she said carrying her and left the class.
Bale was surprised to see her with Regina,
“What’s wrong with you? He asked.
“I should ask you that, what exactly is your problem? Not like i didn’t tell you about her. Okay fine, you don’t want her in your car right? Then drive home yourself, she said and turned back and left with Regina while Bale looked at her and folded his fist angrily.
“Sht! he shouted.
“Sorry aunty, Regina said to Christy on the way.
“For what? Baby don’t mind them, since your father do come back late I’ll teach you at home okay, she said and Regina nodded.
“So Baby where do you live? Christy asked and Regina told her. She stopped a cab and got in with her, and Ochen was just nearby still monitoring her and he followed her behind.
