The cops laughed and Pius shook his head looking at him,
“Is that so? Will you also get a lawyer for your sister? A cop asked.
“My sister? What’s wrong with you guys? Akello asked.
“What are you saying? Your sister is involved in this and you two were working together, so? A cop asked and Akello looked at Pius.
“So you think your wife ki.lled your mistress? He asked him.
“Its likely so, yes she was mad at her and its understood, but ki.lling her was just too much especially when she was carrying my child, I can’t take that anymore, Pius replied and Akello shook his head.
“So she was pre.gnant for you? Gosh I didn’t know I was dealing with a proud shameless man! I will ki.ll you myself for hurting my sister this way when I get out of here! Akello shouted and attempted to get up but the police men held him down.
“You still want to be violent in this situation throwing such a threat? A cop asked.
“That wasn’t a threat but a promise, and this discussion is over, I need my lawyer and that’s it! Akello shouted on him and the cop nodded.
“Looks like you’re taking this to court, a cop said.
“What do you think? Akello asked back.
“Very well then, I wish you good luck, enjoy your stay here we will try our best to be hospitable, after all you are one of us Akello, the cop said and got up same with Pius and left while Akello hit his fist hard on the table boiling up.
“So what is going to happen now? Pius asked the cops after they left the room.
“You heard him, he wants his lawyer and you know what that means. We need to get more evidence to hold him in this case, by the way where did the late Cynthia reside before she ran away? A cop asked.
“I can take you there if you want, but why? Pius asked.
“We need to ask her neighbors some few questions, the cop replied.
“That’s okay, Pius said..
“And Pius, truth be told, you caused this war. What made you cheat on your wife with kids outside without her knowledge? I don’t want to interfere with your business, but too bad its too late to make up, the cop said and walked away and Pius heaved.
“So we are not going to her house anymore? Pius asked as he watched him going.
“If you will meet me outside, the cop replied not looking back and Pius rolled his eyes and followed him behind…….

Achen couldn’t stay at home anymore as Akello wasn’t picking up his call, she took Princess with her but noticed the gateman wasn’t opening up when she horned on the gate.
“Hey what are you waiting for! She shouted on him.
“Sorry madam, your husband instructed me not to open the gate and let you out, I’m sorry, the gateman said and she shook her head.
“Are you serious? You mean he’s locking me here at home or what? Achen asked.
“Before he drove out, he asked me not to open the gate else I’ll lose my job, he replied and Achen angrily took Princess inside……..

The drive in the car was a quiet one as Christiana held Regina sitting at the back and was smiling at her.
“Uhmm so where is your house Miss? Ochen asked.
“Ermmm I don’t know, but don’t you think we need to talk first? Christiana asked.
“In your house or else where? Ochen asked.
“I don’t have a house for now, but please can we sit somewhere to talk about this? She asked.
“What if I take you to my place if you really want to talk to me, he said and Christiana looked at Regina.
“Okay, She replied and used her hand to comb Regina hair slowly.
“Mommy don’t forget about the assignment, my madam will beat me tomorrow, Regina said..
“No baby I won’t let her touch you again, I’ll help you with your homework okay, Christy said and Regina nodded and kept her head on her lap.
Ochen horned on the gate and it got opened, he drove in and they slowly came out looking around.
“Come in, Ochen said going in and they followed him behind.
He sat down looking at them as they stood,
“So should we sit down? Christy asked when he wasn’t saying anything.
“Your choice, maybe you don’t want to sit down, so what do we want to talk about? Ochen asked back and Christy slowly sat down wondering why he’s acting so cold towards her.
“Ermmm is there anywhere my baby can sit? I think we need a little privacy, Christy said and a young guy came out.
“Hi, he said.
“Hi good afternoon, Christy said to him.
“You’re welcome, can I get you something to drink? He asked.
“No please I’m fine thank you, she replied.
“Emmm James can you please take the girl with you? Ochen asked.
“Mommy? Regina said looking at Christy.
“Its okay baby, i won’t take long, Christy said touching her.
“Angel let’s go I won’t bite you okay, James said carrying her leaving them alone.
Christy sat looking at Ochen fiddling her fingers while he looked back with no expression on his face.
“So, are we going to sit looking…….. “I want to say thank you for what you did back there, but i don’t understand, how did you find us? Christy cut in.
“And finally she talks, well I don’t know, he replied.
“Ochen I don’t understand you anymore, is there a problem? She asked and Ochen licked his lips and smiled.
“Are you seriously asking me that? By the way, how is my brother? He asked.
“You knew? She asked.
“Surprised huh? Because you see I am more surprised here, in fact I am flabbergasted, he said and she shook her head.
“Its not what you’re thinking okay, she said.
“Really? What are you going to tell me, that you’re staying one roof with my brother and its not what I’m thinking right? He asked.
“You don’t understand, something happened when i came to the capital and i was rendered homeless.
Bale found me on the street that night and took me home, he gave me a job too and I’m planning to move out when I’ve gathered enough money, she replied and Ochen smiled.
“Is that all? He’s just helping you out huh with what cost? 5 minutes on bed right? He asked and Christiana eyes bulged out and she stood up.
“What did you just say? Look I won’t take this insult from you and thanks for helping me get my daughter. Regina! Regina darling let’s go, Christiana called out and James was seen coming down with her.
“Here she is, James said.
“Thank you, and bye, Christy said and left but Ochen looked at her without saying anything.
“Hey what happened here? James asked.
“I don’t know, please i need to think, Ochen replied, got up and went in……….
