Achen phone began to ring and it was her brother calling, she ignored returning the phone in her bag still looking at Cynthia on her knees.
“Please I won’t do this anymore, don’t ki.ll me please I beg you, Cynthia said and her phone rang again.
She shook her head and picked the call keeping the gvn down,
“Hello brother, she said.
“Where are you? He asked.
“At home why? She asked.
“I know what you did, my wife told me you visited and my gun is missing, did you take it? He asked.
“Yes because I needed to solve a little problem with it, but don’t worry I’ll return it back for you, Achen said not looking at Cynthia.
“You’re not in your right sense Achen, do you want me to lose my job with what you’re about to do? Stop it and bring back my gun else you’ll complicate matters and put yourself in trouble.
There are other ways to get back at her Achen and its definitely not this way, please don’t do it, her brother said and immediately Cynthia took a stool beside her and hit Achen hard on the head with it.
“Arrrghhh! Achen shouted and her phone dropped while Cynthia held her hand with the gun and it fell, then she hit Achen head on the wall.
“Do you really think I will give up that easily Achen? I’ve lost my family and do you think I will let you ki.ll me too huh? You are the loser here because Pius is mine, he was mine before he knew you and Catherine is the product of that love we both shared before I got married to Mukasa.
You should be thankful to me I didn’t take him away from you, yet you want to ki.ll me huh! Cynthia shouted at her while Achen tried getting her balance back.
“Catherine is Pius daughter? Achen weakly asked.
“Yes so you know we have been on this for a long time, Cynthia replied and Achen saw the gvn where it fell.
“You bch, I thought you were my friend, how could you do this to me! Achen shouted but Cynthia sIapped her and she fell towards the direction of the gvn.
“I did you a big favor for taking good care of your husband and being a mistress to him when I can be his wife if I wanted to! Cynthia shouted and her eyes met with Achen about picking the gvn.
She fell on Achen immediately holding her neck,
“You will never ki.ll me Achen, just like you I can ki.ll for who I love, Cynthia said and Catherine hearing all the noises in the house came down from the bed and met the scene.
‘Mommy! Catherine shouted and Cynthia turned and looked at her releasing Achen.
Achen used the opportunity and took the gvn,
“Cynthia! She shouted pointing the gun at her and Cynthia looked at her scared shaking her head.
“Please don’t do this, Cynthia whispered and Achen looked at Catherine who was holding her mother tight.
She closed her eyes and remembered her brother words on phone, she kept the gvn down breathing hard, picked her phone and staggered out of the house.
“Baby, Cynthia said and hugged Catherine tight.
“Mommy what happened to aunty Achen? Kate asked.
“Nothing baby, we have to leave this place today, Cynthia replied and locked the protectors and the door.
Achen got into her car and covered her head on the steering crying as she felt like blowing Cynthia head off with the gvn.
Her phone began to ring again and she picked up,
“Achen what happened to you? He asked.
“Brother please meet me up immediately, she said telling him where to meet her, and she drove off………….

Over there at Jendy place, Christiana was helping her with the laundry,
“That reminds me, your lover boy visited, has he called you yet because I gave him your number, Jendyose said.
“Lover boy? You mean Ochen came here? Christy asked.
“Yes that was this week, he said he just returned and came looking for you but I told him you left to the capital, Jendy replied and Christiana dropped the cloth she was holding.
“Are you still in love with him after so many years? Jendy asked looking at her.
“But i wasn’t in love with him, he was just a good friend of mine, she replied.
“Are you sure? Or is there another person in your life? Common Christy you Better let me know so you won’t fall In love and make the mistake you did years ago, Jendy said and Christy closed her eyes.
“I’m not in love with anybody mom trust me, she said and took the pail to air the clothes………….
Ochen got back home and kept looking at Christiana number on his phone,
“I don’t know, maybe i was so wrong to think you’ll wait for me for such a long time. Maybe mom was right when she said out of sight is out of mind, But you never left because I thought about you each passing day.
Seeing you with Bale hurts more because you are the reason why we are like enemies, you are the reason why we can’t get along.
I wish you know who you are giving yourself to because Bale is not as you think he is, very slimy and tricky is he and and you just fell for another scammer again. What can I do now? Ochen asked himself and covered his head sadly………..

Pius checked his time and saw Achen isn’t back yet, he got worried and tried reaching her on phone but he couldn’t.
He called up her brother who was on his way to meet with Achen and he sighed and picked up,
‘Yes Pius, he picked up.
“good evening brother, please is my wife with you? Pius asked.
“Yes, don’t worry I’ll drop her at home myself, he replied.
“Can i talk to her please? Pius asked.
“No she’s with my wife and I’m not close to them right now, he replied.
“Alright thank you, please tell her Princess is missing her already, Pius said.
“I will, He said and dropped the call and was worried for his sister as he drove in speed………..

Bale got up from the bed and began dressing up,
“So you’re leaving me again? Besides who is that lady staying with you? A lady asked.
“My girlfriend why? He replied.
“Girlfriend? She asked sitting up and he rolled his eyes,
“What did you want to hear? look San…….. “Don’t say a word Bale! You have a girlfriend and you just slept with me, what’s that for! She shouted on him.
“I just needed fun okay, you should understand, Bale said.
“You’re a bastard! She shouted and got up but he held her.
“Relax I was only joking, she’s not my girlfriend, I’m only using her to get back at my brother, he said.
“Do you think I’ll believe your lies again? She asked.
“Do you think I’m lying? Trust me okay, is not what you’re thinking, he said and pecked her while she kept looking at him…………
