Achen brother met up with her in a bar and saw her face with bruises,
“What happened? Who did this to you? He asked touching her but she shook her head and gulped down another bottle of drink.
“Stop it I’m here, don’t drink that any more talk to me, he said getting the bottle from her and called on the Waiter to take the bottles away from them.
“I heard you scream on phone, what exactly happened and why is your face this way? He asked.
“She used a stool on me and we had a fight though, but I found out something more painful, she replied.
“What is that? He asked.
“She has a child for Pius and she’s pregnant again, she replied.
“You mean Pius has a child with another woman? He asked and she nodded.
“I’m so hurt right now, I feel like dying, she said and cried on her brother who consoled her thinking hard.
“Did you do anything rash there? He asked.
“I wanted to but I couldn’t even when I got the chance, I’m sure she’s going to run away then maybe take Pius with her, she replied.
“Common take me there, he said helping her to get up and they left.
They arrived and saw Cynthia hurriedly took her few things into a taxi while they watched her from a distance,
“You were right, but this is what you’ll do for me Achen. Go back and take your car from the bar and go home, I’ll take over from here, her brother said.
“What are you going to do? She asked.
“Just go okay, he said pecking her on her forehead and Achen slowly left the car and took a cab back to the bar.
Cynthia was done parking and she went in with her daughter sitting beside the driver, and the car took off and Achen brother followed behind.
Cynthia thought of calling Pius to tell him what happened but she was scared of Achen.
“Mommy where are we going? Kate asked.
“Uhmmm baby to a safe place, Cynthia replied.
“Mommy why do we keep running away? Kate asked.
“Sorry baby, everything will be okay alright, she said and sadly kssed her………….

Achen brother made sure he didn’t lost track on the taxi,
“I won’t watch you destroy my sister happiness and family, he said going more closer to them and Cynthia noticed someone was following them.
“Have you seen that car behind us, looks like its following us, Cynthia said to the cab man and he used his side mirror to check on him.
“That’s true, he said and Cynthia heart began to beat fast,
“Please can you drive faster, please drive faster i beg you, Cynthia said and the driver nodded.
Achen brother suspected they noticed him and drove more faster to meet up with them, soon he was driving just by their side and Cynthia recognized him.
“Oh my God! Cynthia shakily said looking at the driver for help.
“Hello bch, Achen brother said and hit the cab while driving and they screamed.
“Help us please! Cynthia shouted holding her daughter tight.
“Who are you? You’re putting my life In danger i didn’t bargain for this, the driver said and Achen brother hit it again.
“No no no! The driver shouted scared for his car thought of parking by the side but Achen brother pointed a gvn at him.
“Please don’t shoot please i want to park I’m not a part of the problem, he said and quickly Parked the car and came out from the taxi with his hands up.
Achen brother came Down immediately and held Cynthia when she wanted running away with Catherine.
‘Leave me Alone, help me please! Cynthia shouted but he hit her on her tommy and pushed her inside together with Catherine.
“You didn’t see anything, he said pointing the gun to the cab man and drove off…………….

Every minute that passed, Pius became more worried and kept trying Achen number but it wasn’t reachable.
“Daddy, is mommy not coming back? Princess asked behind him and he carried her.
“Mommy said she’s on her way, let’s go eat, he said.
“No I’ll wait for mommy to feed me, she said.
“But baby I can feed you, won’t you let me feed you today? He asked.
“But I want to wait for mommy to come back before I’ll eat, she replied.
“If mommy comes back and finds out that you haven’t eaten your dinner, she won’t be happy with you. I told you mommy is with your uncle and they are on their way here, now let’s go eat okay, he said and she nodded.
“That’s my baby, he said pecking her and left the room…………

Cynthia sat down that evening thinking about what her mom told her about Ochen,
“If he got my number from my mom, why hasn’t he called yet? And how is he going to feel when he finds out I’m staying with his brother? How exactly is he going to read that? She asked herself rubbing her head and heaved.
“But we are not doing anything wrong, Bale saved me on the street, gave me shelter and a job, I should be grateful he came my way at the right time, she said and her phone began to ring.
She hurriedly ran to where she kept it and saw it was Bale calling,
“Hi, good evening, she picked up.
“Evening love, I guess you really had a good day with mom, he said.
“Yea, sorry I couldn’t call through out the day, I was quite busy, she said.
“Its no problem, that’s why I didn’t call too because I sensed you’ll be busy with mom. So are you still coming back tomorrow? He asked and Christy rubbed her head saying nothing.
‘Christy are you there? He asked.
“Ermmm yes sure, she replied.
“What’s wrong? He asked.
“Nothing, maybe it was the network, she replied.
“Alright, I’ll sure get something sweet prepared for you okay, he said.
“You don’t have to do that, she said.
“Don’t worry about that, I guess I’ll say good night here, he said.
“Good night and thanks for calling, she said.
“Its no problem, bye love, he said and dropped the call and Christy heaved and fell on the bed.
Bale smiled at himself and suddenly frowned,
“Welcome Ochen, I’ll sure make your coming back here be fun, because If i were you, I would have stayed there in peace, he said and smirked…..

Ochen friend came in and saw Ochen still looking at his phone,
“Will you continue to look at your phone all through the night? Why not just call her up save yourself the stress, he said.
“I don’t have the courage to even if I want to, I can’t get the scene out of my head when I saw them together dancing happily, it hurts, he replied and his friend sat beside him..
“And she’s staying with him under one roof, you should give up on her, she chose your brother and you should respect that, he said and Ochen got up pacing around.
“I don’t want to believe my brother intention for her is real, Ochen said.
“But she has made her choice, will you keep fighting your brother because of her? His friend asked.
“Because I have always been fighting for her best interest in the past and it hasn’t changed yet, Bale has always been lying to i and my late mom that he has changed, but he hasn’t change one bit and that’s why I’m worried, Ochen replied.
“If you ask me, I think he has good intention for that girl, he was so happy with her yesterday and treated her right, please accept and let her be, his friend said.
“You think I shouldn’t talk to her still? Like to hear from her after so many years? Ochen asked and his friend tapped him.
“Is left for you, common go rest your head and stop suckling over a woman when there are pretty ladies scattered all over, he said smiling at him and left………….

Achen drove in and Pius quickly rushed outside to meet with her,
“What happened to you? He asked when he saw her face.
“What do you care? She asked staggering and he held her.
“Your daughter shouldn’t see you this way, he said.
“She should be sleeping by now, get your hands off me! She shouted and went in on her own while Pius looked at her confused.
She went to her daughter room and met her fast asleep and she stood looking at her,
“Princess, she said touching her and cried silently on her while Pius peeped at her wondering what was going on……….
