The next morning Bale knocked on Christiana door and got in to see her cuddled with Regina on bed.
“Good morning, he greeted with a tray of tea when Christiana cleaned her eyes looking at him.
“What’s this for? She asked.
“To say I’m sorry about yesterday, I don’t know what came over me, maybe I was stressed up or something but still I had no right to lay my hand on you I’m sorry, he said and Christiana shook her head looking at him and arranged the blanket on Regina who was still sleeping.
“You don’t need to be sorry, its okay I forgave you already, she said.
“Really? Thank you, he said and she nodded.
“I’ll be going today, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back to the capital, she said.
“Why that? I mean is it because of what I did? He asked.
“No not at all, I think I should get myself prepared well now I have a daughter, you have nothing to do with my decision, she replied.
“Common Christy Is there anything i can do to make you change your mind? you’re making me feel bad, you can always stay here till when you’re buoyant enough to leave, I am not chasing you away please, he said and Regina woke up.
“Mommy, Regina said and Christiana hugged her.
“How was your night angel? Christy asked.
“Fine mommy, good morning mommy, Regina greeted.
“Morning dear, Christy replied.
“Good morning uncle, she greeted.
“Morning love, he said.
“Okay thanks for this, but you shouldn’t have bothered, Christy said.
“Okay I’ll leave you two and hurry up to school, but I’ll be back to drop you off at the park, Bale said.
“Okay thanks, Christy said and he left the room.
“Mommy can I talk with grand mom now? Regina asked.
“Did you dream of grandma? She asked back.
“I think so, Regina replied and Christy phone began to ring.
“Okay its grandma calling but first you need to brush, get up we will call her back when we are done, Christy said carrying Regina from the bed ignoring Jendyose call…….

Mukasa was still on bed after stressing himself with Cynthia family, His phone began to ring and he sIuggishly picked up..
“Hello Mukasa, good morning to you, a voice came on phone.
“Yes who is speaking? He asked still sleepy..
“The cops calling, regarding Catherine matter, the DNA test is out and I’ll love to see you in the hospital today, the caller said and Mukasa sat up.
“You mean the test is already out? He asked.
“Yes and you’re needed, the cop replied.
“Okay okay I’ll be there, but what time? He asked.
“Let’s make it by 10a.m because Pius need to be there, the cop replied and hearing Pius name got Mukasa angry.
“Whatever bye, he said and dropped the call himself……

Pius was first called by the cops and he woke up to still see Princess sleeping beside him.. He got into the bathroom took his bath and got dressed and his daughter woke up,
“Daddy are you leaving again? She asked.
“Yes baby i need to attend to something important but I’ll be back, he replied.
“No daddy please don’t go, she said with a teary face and Pius held her.
‘My princess don’t do this, I’ll be back soon, he said.
“That’s what you always say but we won’t still see you, you do this everyday daddy take me along with you, she said and Pius heaved.
“Baby won’t you go to school? He asked.
“I don’t want to today please, she replied and he nodded.
“Its alright, anything for my baby, he said carrying her to clean her up.
Achen saw him coming out with Princess well dressed and was confused,
“Where are you both going to? She asked.
“To somewhere, he replied.
“Ermmmm okay the food is ready, won’t you eat first? She asked.
“Princess will but that won’t be now because I’m in a hurry, he replied and took Princess food and left with her while Achen watched not knowing what to say.
“Don’t let anyone in or out of this house, he gave a strict warning to the gateman before he driving out……….

Bale came back for them as he promised and they were already set to leave,
“You’re carrying all your bags? He asked Christy when he saw the bags.
“I’m sorry but I have to do this, we already talked about this and I’m not changing my mind, she replied.
“I won’t stop you then, just take care of yourself and call me if you need anything, he said.
“You’ve done enough I appreciate, thank you so much, she said but he only smiled and helped put the bags in the boot of his car.
They arrived at the park and saw an empty bus going to Gulu,
“Gosh, this will take time before it get filled, Christiana said.
“A bus left few minutes ago, we need to load another so we can move, the driver said.
“No problem, Christy said and the man helped with the bags.
“Thanks Bale, Christy said holding his hand.
“Will you mind i wait for you till you take off? He asked and she smiled.
“That won’t be necessary, I have a company here remember to keep me busy, she said referring to Regina and he nodded and looked at her.
“Be a good girl alright and take care of mummy, he said.
“Okay uncle, and you too be a good boy okay, Regina said and Bale laughed.
“Sure I’m always a good boy, okay drive safe and bye, he said and they waved at him and got into the bus while Bale left to get into his car.
People kept coming one by one into the bus, while Christiana was engrossed in discussion with her daughter, then Regina sighted a little boy hawking chips.
‘Hey mommy kook at that, I want to eat it, Regina said and the boy got into a place covered by the parking buses that Christy couldn’t call him.
“I think we have missed him, Christy said.
“But mommy i really want to eat that, I ate that once and that was when Catherine gave me a piece of it when her mom bought it for her, Regina said Christy nodded touching her hair.
“Your mom is here to buy yours for you okay, let’s go, Christy said and they came down from the bus to look for the boy.
Bale already informed the guys where they were including the bus plate number, and they were watching waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.
They gently followed them looking around carefully, and saw when Christy stopped the boy and took some few wrapped chips from his tray, while Regina happily stood waiting by her side.
Two guys went nearer looking around with their car moving slowly for them to hop in, and one of them carried Regina, while the other pointed a gvn at Christiana telling her to be cool.
“Hey That’s my daughter bring her back! Christiana shouted and attempted to run after him but the guy shot her on the hand and she fell,
“Regina! Christiana shouted as they got into the car and drove off.
The people around seeing Christiana sh ot was scared to risk their life to stop them, and they ran to Christiana to check out her wound after they were gone.
“Regina! Somebody please bring my daughter to me, my daughter has been taken somebody please help me! Christiana cried out while they tried tying the wound to stop it from bIeeding.
“We have informed the police about this okay, your daughter will be found don’t worry, a woman who was in the same bus with her said.
“I can’t live without my daughter please I need to find her don’t you understand, Christy said and attempted to get up but she was held back.
“You’re bIeeding can’t you see? You need to treat yourself first to be fit so you can find your daughter, be grateful you were not sh ot to de ad, how will you find your daughter if such a thing had happened? A man asked and Christiana broke down crying.
“Everything will be okay, the cops knows about this, a woman said.
“Ill be as good as de ad if I don’t see my Regina, why didn’t they ki ll me instead? oh God! Christiana shouted………
“Where are you taking me to? Where’s my mommy? Mommy! Regina shouted.
“Shut up will you! This guy didn’t tell us we were dealing with a parrot, I think he’s going to increase our pay, one of the guys said.
“What did you do to my mommy? take me back to my mommy! Regina shouted the more and one of them ignored her and made a call,
“Yes we have her, he said..
“Really? I never expected it to be that quick, you know the arrangements right? Bale asked.
“Sure, he replied.
“I’ll meet you there then, Bale said.
“Mommy! Where’s my mommy! Bale heard Regina shouting and crying in the background, and he smiled and dropped the call………..
