Episode 64

Christiana was taken to the hospital to be treated and some police men met her there,
‘What really happened? A cop asked.
“I and my daughter wanted traveling, we already got into the bus but she saw a boy hawking plantain chips and asked me to get it for her. As I was buying it, 2 men just carried her away from me into a waiting car, and the other shot me when I attempted to go after them. Please safe my daughter, Christiana sobbed.
“Its alright my men are already on this, though with your statement, its clear your baby was planned because we got to the park and there are many children there they would have taken, but they took only your daughter. I don’t know if you understand me, a cop said.
“You mean to say someone planned this? She asked.
“Exactly, will you mind telling us anyone you think will be the suspect? Probably someone who threatened you or something, A cop asked.
“That Mukasa bas tard! He took her away from me when she was born, and he has done it again, I know its him, its that bas tard! Christiana shouted.
“Sorry who is Mukasa to her? A cop asked.
“Her father, but he has no right over her or to kidnap his own daughter, that’s ev’l of him, she cried.
“Okay okay, can we go there now? Are you strong? A cop asked.
“Sure yes, Christy said and quickly got up from the bed and followed them, and they drove down to Mukasa place………..

Mukasa arrived in the hospital earlier to have a little talk with Catherine before Pius and the cops will arrive.
“Daddy how are you? Catherine asked.
“Scared, Catherine will you still leave me like your mother did? He asked.
“Daddy where’s mommy? Why has she not visited me yet? Catherine asked and he heaved and looked at her.
“I bought you noodles outside, he said and brought out a plate to divert that question but Catherine shook her head.
“I don’t want to eat that, Daddy Promised to bring me something sweet as he’s coming to see me today, Catherine said and Mukasa looked at her and the plate of noodles in his hands.
“You mean my food isn’t something nice? He asked and she nodded.
“I don’t eat that anymore, besides there is no egg, vegetables or chicken in the noodles, it won’t be sweet, she replied and he bowed his head trying to force a smile when he remembered he used his last money on him to buy that just to impress her but she rejected it.
He sniffed and nodded,
“Okay if you say so, I’ll eat it then so it won’t waste. Are you sure you don’t need even a spoon? He asked and she shook her head.
He swallowed and began eating slowly and the door opened.
Some cops came in and saw him,
“Ahhhh you’re already here, good Morning, a cop said shaking hands with him.
“Good morning welcome, Mukasa said and they looked at Catherine who didn’t say anything to them.
“Won’t you join your dad to eat? A cop asked her.
“Daddy is bringing me food, I don’t like what he’s eating, she replied and the cops looked at Mukasa sadly and they swallowed.
“Okay so where is he? Its past 10a.m already, Mukasa said after he was done eating.
“Yea, he’s almost close, a cop replied.
“I’ll go get water to drink then, he said and left the room leaving Catherine with them………..

Bale arrived at the hideout and met them outside so he won’t be seen by Regina,
“I don’t think I heard the part when you told us we are carrying a parrot, can you hear the screams that girl is giving us inside? One of them asked and Bale smiled.
‘Just ignore her, she’ll be tired. So how is her mother? I mean how were you able to get her without her mother interfering? Bale asked.
“We sh ot her, she’s just like her mother very stubborn, one of them replied and Bale eyes bulged out.
“You did what! He shouted.
“Yes, do you want us to get caught? She was still running after us even after we threatened her with a gvn, so we did what we had to do and also to scare the people at the park too, they replied.
“shit! But I hope she isn’t hurt? Bale asked.
“She will just have a slight wound, is not like we ki lled her okay. So what are you going to do with her? They asked.
“I need to go check on Christiana though i strictly told you not to hurt her, Bale said and hurried off while they hissed Abe popped the smoke of their cigarette in the air.
On the way he dialled Christiana number pretending to ask if they have taken off already, but rather he heard her crying on phone when she picked up,
“Bale, Mukasa has taken Regina from me, she said.
“Wait, what do you mean by that? He asked.
“Some men took her away in the park from me, she replied.
“What! Where are you now? Hope you were not hurt? He asked.
“I was sh ot but it doesn’t matter now, I’m at Mukasa place now with the cops, he’s the only suspect i have right now and the only one that can do this, she replied.
“Is that so? He asked but Christiana dropped the call when she saw the cops interrogating Mukasa neighbors about His whereabouts.
“Mukasa is the suspect? This isn’t good, he may know I did this because I discussed with him first, what will i do Now? Bale asked himself and drove down to the place to arrest the situation if he had to.
From Mukasa neighbors, they got to know he do go to the hospital to see his daughter there after Cynthia de ath.
“I think I know who we are talking about here, let’s go, a cop said and they drove off from there…………

Pius arrived in the hospital with Princess and apologized for keeping them waiting.
“Its okay, so let’s get straight to the point because we have a lot to do today, a cop said and looked at Catherine.
“Do you want to know who your real daddy is? A cop asked her and she nodded.
Mukasa was nervous already as a cop handed two envelops to them and asked them to open it.
Pius looked at Mukasa and opened his own, while Mukasa sluggishly opened his own and bowed his head and Pius looked up smiling.
“Princess, here is your senior sister, you know her right? Pius asked.
“Yes daddy, Princess replied.
“Catherine, I’m your real daddy and from now on you will be staying with me and your sister, I will take care of you, Pius said holding Catherine.
“Really? Catherine asked smiling and Pius nodded and hugged his two daughters while Mukasa watched them with tears streaming down his face.
He couldn’t hold himself as a man any more and he broke down crying helplessly,
“Please stop this, can you control yourself i beg you there are kids here, the cops said holding him while Pius didn’t know what to do.
“Mukasa you can freely see Catherine anytime you want to, please don’t Blame me for what happened, Cynthia denied me of my baby and got married to you, I hope you understand, Pius calmly said and Mukasa looked at him..
“What should I understand? That i fathered another Man child or that I’m left alone in the world now? Mukasa asked him.
“I’m sorry, but You have Regina right? She’s your daughter, Pius said and Mukasa nodded and heaved.
“Yes she’s my daughter but her mother took her away from me and strictly warned me not to go near her, so you see I’m left alone, Mukasa replied and cleaned his tears.
“Please take care of her, though i know you will because i can’t even take care of myself, Mukasa said and Pius nodded.
“Is there anything i can do to help you? Pius asked but Mukasa shook his head,
“I’m fine, he replied and pecked Catherine.
“Be a good girl okay, Mukasa said to her and weakly left the room.
Few minutes later Christiana and the cops arrived asking of Mukasa……….
