Chapter 36
Leah opens her eyes, she looks around and discovered she was in the hospital.
“Am still Alive”. She muttered to herself, she tries to sit up on the bed, but something held her back.
She looks at her left side, and sees Ryan sleeping holding her hand, she smiles and slowly taps him.
“Ryan”.
Ryan struggle to wake, but when his blurry eyes sees Leah looking at him smiling, the sleep in his eyes quickly left him.
“Love”.he calls and hugs her.
“You are finally awake, you are finally awake love, I was so damn scared”. Ryan said looking so happy.
He disengage the hug, and began to her check her whole body.
“Are you alright Leah, do you feel pains anywhere, should I get the doctor”. Ryan rushly said turning the both sides of her cheeks left and right looking worried.
“Am fine Ryan”.
“Are you sure, you have been sleeping for 24 hours”.
“Am fine Ryan, but how did you find me”.
“It was I and Clark who found you Leah, when we found you, you were all covered in muds, I thought I was going to loose you Leah, thank you for living Leah, because I would have gone crazy, if something bad has happened to you”
Leah smiles and caress his cheek.
“Am sorry for making you worried Ryan, my baby is all messy because of me, you must cried alot because of me”. Leah said arranging his scatter hair.
Ryan looks at her and smiles, but when his mind went back to how he kssed Cora at the restaurant, he instantly became sad, and guit fell all-over him.
Leah notice his sad face and asked.
“What wrong Ryan, why do you look sad, am awake now”.
“Am so sorry Leah”.Ryan said as tears falls down eyes.
“Why are you sorry Ryan”.
Ryan cleans the tears in his eyes and held Leah’s hand.
“I kssed Cora, believe me Leah, she pretended to be you, and I had no idea it wasn’t you, am so sorry, Leah, am sorry”. Ryan apologize and tears were already dropping from his eyes.
Leah smiles and cleans his tears.
“That enough Ryan, you don’t have to cry or apologize”.
“You aren’t mad at me”.
Leah shakes her head.
“You already said you didn’t Know it wasn’t me right, and why should I be mad at you, when I know fully well that Cora and I look exactly like each other”.
“Thank you Leah”.
Leah nods with a smile.
“But you didn’t do anything to Cora right, I know how coaxy you can be when you are mad, what do you do her Ryan”.
“Fortunately I didn’t do anything to her because Clark stop me, and also because I promise you I won’t punish humans for their sins”.
Leah smiles.
“That good to know”. She said caressing his hair smiling.
Ryan looks at her.
“Why are you so kind-hearted Leah, Cora almost Killed you twice, but you aren’t even planning on getting back at her, you even forgive her right away without her asking for forgiveness”.
“That because I don’t hold grudges on people Ryan, and people don’t have to ask for forgiveness from you before you forgive them right”. She asked.
Ryan looks at her and smiles.
“Are you hungry, should I get something for you to eat”. Ryan asked caressing her hair.
And Leah nods with a smile.
“So what should I get you then”.
“Mmmm, jajangmyeon (wheat noodles)”.
“Fine Leah, I will be back”.
Leah nods with a smile.
Ryan walks towards the door but came back and kss her lips lightly, and Leah smiles the moment he did that.
“Go ahead now Ryan, am hungry”. Leah said and pouted out her lips.
“Sorry Leah, I will make it snappy”. Ryan said and leaves the ward.
He came back few minutes later, with jajangmyeon, and dished it out for Leah, but Leah keeps looking at him.
“What wrong Leah, why aren’t you eating”.
“My shoulder is acheing so badly, I can’t use it to eat, so can you feed me”. Leah said as she place her two hands on her jaw, blinking her eyes like a baby.
“Fine, you so don’t have to act so cute, just for me to feed you”. Ryan said and he takes the chop sticks from her.
And Leah smiles.
Ryan used the chop sticks to pack a little bit of jajangmyeon.
“Ha”. Ryan said smiling.
Leah smiles and opens her mouth, and Ryan fed her.
“So how does it taste”.
“It taste yummy, but your cooking taste better, am so craving for it”.
“Should we go to my house then, you know my mom isn’t at home, I can prepared you Ginseng chicken soup, and then we can have the house all to ourselves”. Ryan said and winkles at her.
And Leah hits his head.
“What are you trying to imply huh,,what do you mean we can have the house all to ourselves, what are you trying to do”.
“Nothing,,,,what I meant was, we can watch a movie together and also play some games together too”.
“Ohhh, was that was you meant”. Leah muttered.
“Yes Leah, what were you thinking”.
“Nothing…. just continue feeding me”. Leah said sharply.
Ryan smiles and said.
“I didn’t know my girlfriend had such a rotten mind”.
“I don’t Ryan”. She defended herself.
Ryan smiles and said.
“Fine,,,you don’t”. He said and feed her.
“You have a stain of jajangmyeon on your lips Leah”. He said after few seconds of feeding her.
“Huh, where”.
“This side of your lips”. Ryan said using his own lips as a demonstration.
“Here”.
“No, a little bit”.
“Here”.
“A little bit Leah”.
“Did I get it off”. Leah asked cleaning a different place in her lips.
Ryan sighs and said.
“Forget it Leah,,,I will do it myself”. Ryan said and claims her lips, kissing her like his life depended on it.
