Chapter 49
Ryan and Leah held hands as both walks to class smiling at each other, when both sees Cassie, looking at the school billboard.
“Are you and Cassie on speaking terms now”. Leah asked.
Ryan sighs and shakes his head.
“You should go talk to her Ryan”.
“She doesn’t want to talk to me”.
“But that doesn’t mean you should stop talking to her too right, and you were also the one who said, you promise her Twin brother that you were going to stay by her side always right, so you should talk to her”.
Ryan smiles and caress her cheeks.
“Why are you so kind-hearted Leah, you are making me fall deeper inlove with you”. Ryan said and tries to kss her, but Leah push his face away.
“You can kss me all you want later, but right now you need to settle your differences with Cassie”.
“Okay Leah, but keep to your promises okay, you own me a thousand ksses”.
“Fine, I do, can you go now”. Leah said demotrating with her hand.
Ryan pecks her the cheek, before walking up to Cassie, while Leah stood a little distance from them to watch.
“Hi Cassie”. Ryan said waving at her smiling.
Cassie turns to him, she sees Leah standing a little distance away from them, she sighs and said.
“What do you want Ryan”.
“Cassie, can we please go back to the way we used to”.
“Weren’t you the one who always kept your distance, so am doing the same, I don’t want your so-called girlfriend, to think that am trying to steal you away from her”.
“Cassie, Leah is not like that, she is not the kind of person you think she is, she is very nice Cassie”.
“I don’t care if she, and I also don’t care about you Ryan”.
Ryan sighs and runs his hands through his hair.
“What has come over you Cassie, why did you suddenly change so much, you have become a different person, I apologise alot of times already, Leah’s life was in danger, that why I couldn’t be at christof’s memorial, why are you making it so hard for me”.
“If you think am giving you a hard time, then stop talking to me Ryan, I hate you”. She spat angrily and walks away.
“Cassie! Cass!!, Cassie!!!”. Ryan calls her, but Cassie ignores his calling.
Leah walks up to him.
“See I told you she wasn’t going to talk to me”.
“I think Cassie is going through something, you should try to talk to again, and find out what going on with her”.
“No Leah, have tried my best, and if she doesn’t want to talk to me again, so be it”.
“Ryan…”
“Don’t try to persuade me Leah, because I won’t do it, I think is best if I and Cassie stop being friends”.
Leah looks at him and sighs.
“And you also own me something”.
“Wh…. what”. Leah muttered.
“Ksses”.
“Really Ryan, we are talking about how to resolve your conflicts with Cassie, and you are talking about ksses, how can……”
Leah couldn’t finish the word she has in her mouth, because Ryan slamps his lips on hers, and Leah was too shock to respond.
Ryan broke it and looks at her.
“Is remaining 999 ksses”. He said with a smile, he tries to go for her lips again, but Leah quickly said.
“Look over there Ryan”.
“Where”. Ryan said turning to the direction she was pointing, and Leah quickly took to her hills.
“Leah!!!!”.
Ryan yells and runs after Leah who keeps running and screaming.

“We have finally come to an end of the dance practice”. Ms Lily said.
And they all clapped their hands smiling.
“So Ms Lily, who is going to represent the school in the Gymnastic competition”. Cora asked, as she flings her long hair to the back.
“Well you all did well, and surprisly, you improved in your dancing skills as well”. Ms Lily said and Cora smiles.
“But you know that even if you all are good, we have to select someone who can make the school win in the Gymnastic competition right”.
And they nods their heads with a smile.
“So the one to represent the school, after your final exams will be no other person than Leah Sanford”. Ms Lily said.
And the rest of the gymnastic dancers claps their hands smiling, and both Audery and Cora weren’t left out.
“Really Ms Lily, why me”. Leah asked.
“Because you are good with what you do Leah, and I have no doubt that you are going to make the school win”.
Leah smiles and said.
“Thanks Ms Lily, I promise you, that you won’t be disappoint in me”.
“I already know that Leah, but you also need to practice too okay”.
And Leah nods with a smile.
“So what do we have to say to our chosen gymnastic dancer”.
“Congratulations Leah Sanford”. They all said at once clapping their hands.
Leah smiles, and hugs both Cora and Audery.

“Dad you sent for me”. Audery asked, as she enters the house.
Her dad looks at her, and slaps her so hard on the face, and Audrey falls to the floor.
“I heard a girl who look like Cora was chosen as the one who is going to represent your school in the gymnastic competition, how could you have let that happened Audery!!!!”. He yells at her.
Audery stands up to her feet and looks at her dad.
“What if she was chooen dad, she is better than me, and that why she was chosen to represent our school, I can’t do anything about it”.
“You are just so useless just like your mom, you both don’t get things right, do you know how far you would have gone, if you have been the chosen one, I had so much faith in you Audery”.
Audery looks at him but didn’t say a word.
“You are so useless Audery, all my boastness has gone down the drain all because of you, you are so useless Audery!!”. He yells.
“That how I have always been in your eyes right, no matter what I do, am always useless to you!!!”. Audery yells as tears falls down her eyes.
“You should be ashamed of yourself Audery, first you couldn’t get the boy who love, and now you couldn’t even get to be the one to represent your school, how can you still be friends with those two LOOK ALIKES who took everything you ever wanted”.
Audery cleans the tears in her eyes and said.
“Are you done talking, if you have, then I will take my leave now”. Audery said and leaves the house.
“Audery, come back here, am still talking to you, Audery!!”. He calls, but Audery ignores his calling.

The students sits in the class T-chatting and laughing, Cora and Leah were not left out, both were T-chatting and laughing with their boyfriends too.
Their noise was so loud that it could be heard by anyone passing by.
A teacher enters the classroom and sees how noisy and busy the classroom looks, like it was a public market.
“Really!!!!”. He yells.
And the students began running back to their respective seats, Cora quickly stood up from Clark’s body, since she was sitting in his lap.
In a minute, the classroom became like a grave yard.
“I can’t believe you all are busy T-chatting and laughing with boyfriends, when your exams are starting soon”. He said and looks at Cora.
Cora immediately looks away, since she knew he was referring to her, he has earlier caught her sitting on Clark’s lap and also wrapping her hands around his neck as well.
“You are supposed to be the science class right, but why is the art class more calm and quiet than you guys, and what will you tell the junior students if they were the ones disturbing the whole school”. The teacher asked.
But he got no response from any of them.
“You all should forcus on your books for now rather than your boyfriends, since you have only a month to be through with high school”. The teacher said and looks at Cora again.
Cora covers her face, trying to avoid his gaze.
“Does he necessary need to look at me”. She muttered inwardly.
“Concentrate on your books, if you all want to make it out of High school and then to the university, okay”.
“Okay Sir”. The students all chorus at once, and they began to bring out their books one after the other, as their eyes were fixed on their books.
The teacher looks at each and every one of them and smile.
“Good, that it, keep reading, and be serious”. He said with a smile, and leaves.
Immediately he left, the students covers their books and continues T-chatting with one another.
Clark turns to Cora and asked smiling.
“Do you want us to go see a movie together”.
“I will really love that, but is still school period, can we go out”.
“Leave that to me Cora, so shall we”. Clark said bringing fort his hand.
Cora smiles and accepted his hand, and both leaves the class smiling and looking at each other, as if they were the only ones in the world.
Audery looks at them, but her eyes quickly went back to her books.
Leah sees Cora leaving the class with Clark, so she quickly looks at Ryan, who seems to be more concetrated in his book now.
“Ryan do you want us to go out too”. She asked smiling.
Ryan looks at her and smiles.
“I actually have a place in mind”.
“Really, where”. She asked smiling.
