“So you will be spending the night here with him”. Ryan asked Cassie, as she came out from the hospital with her.
“Yes Ryan, since his mom already approved of our relationship, I want to be with him, when he have his surgery tomorrow, and also take care of him after that, is something I haven’t being able to do for him”.
“Am sorry Cassie”.
“For what”. Cassie asked raising her eyebrows.
“For doubting you, I shouldn’t have believe you were capable of harming Cora and Leah”.
“Is fine Ryan, is all settled now, so you don’t have to apologize to me and I should also apologize to you too for being harsh towards you”. Cassie paused and continues.
“I was only jealous because you were the only friend I have, and I always count on you for everything, but everything changed when Leah came into the picture, and I felt like I already lost my best friend to her, I had no one to talk to, that why I became that way, remember when I told you I had something to tell you during Christof’s memorial”.
Ryan looks at her and nods.
“I wanted to tell you about Ivan, he was also there that day, I wanted to introduce you to him, and tell you about what will were going through, unfortunately his mom came that day, she beats the he.ll out of me, telling me to stay away from her son”.
“Was that how you got the bruises in your arm”.
“Yes Ryan, and that why I became so mad at you, I thought if you had shown up as you have promised, maybe she won’t have beat the he.ll out of me like she did, so I decided to stay away from you, so that I can be strong, without having to depend on you Everytime, Audery thinks I love you, but I don’t Ryan, I only see you as my best friend and nothing else, Ivan is the one I love, and I love him so much Ryan, I love Ivan alot”. Cassie said and cleans the tears in her eyes.
Ryan pulls her into a hug and patted her.
“Am sorry Cassie, if you had to go through all that alone, I failed in my promise to christof, to take care of you”.
Cassie disengage the hug and looks at him.
“Is fine Ryan, and now that Ma Elena already want I and Ivan to be together, I won’t have to go through anything anymore”.
“So are we still friends”.
“Of course Ryan, you will always be my best friend”. Cassie said smiling.
And Ryan patted her hair smiling too, he was right after all, the Cassie he knows, doesn’t have a bad heart.

“We already confirmed Cassie isn’t the one who is after our life, who else could it be”. Leah asked.
Clark, Ryan, Cora and Audery sighs without saying a word.
Cora thinks for a while, and her mind flashback to when James quickly ended the call immediately he saw her.
“I think is definitely him”.
“Who”. Audery asked.
“My step dad”.
“What!!!!”. They screamed at the same time.
“I know is sounds crazy, but I saw him a few days ago, he was on a serious call, but immediately he saw me, he ended it quickly”.
“So are you saying your step dad wants you both Dead, but what can he possibly gain from it”. Clark asked.
“Alot Clark, mom already adopted Leah, and he knows Arianna won’t have a lot of inheritance, if I and Leah are still alive, why didn’t I think of this at first”. Cora said and hits her hand on the table.
“Then he must have sent someone to harm you and Cora, wearing the same hoodie as Cassie’s, so we won’t easily suspect him”. Ryan
“Exactly Ryan”. Cora said.
“If he is really the one after our lives, then mom needs to know about this”. Leah said.
“No Leah, mom doesn’t need to know about this, we are going to figure it out ourselves, if James think he can have my mom’s wealth to himself, then he is wrong”.
“So what we are going to do cora”. Audery asked.
“We are going to follow him, just as we have followed Cassie, and in doing that, we need Arianna’s help”. Cora said.
“Do you think she will agree to help us, is her father who will are talking about here”. Ryan asked.
Cora sighs and said.
“Well I hope she agrees to it”.

After much pressure from Cora and Leah, Arianna agrees to help them, but she keeps on insisting her dad wasn’t capable of hurting the both of them, but she was already to help.
So everything was planned, on how to know if James was really the culprit.

“Dad, are you going out”. Arianna asked immediately she sees her dad coming downstairs.
“Yes Arianna, but why are you home”. James asked.
“I just wanted to spend the night here, but dad is already late, where are you going”.
“Am just stepping out for a while, and if your mom comes back, just tell her I went out okay”.
“Okay Dad”. Arianna replies.
She watch as her dad leaves the house, and she immediately call Cora.
“Cora, dad is leaving the mansion, with a black Chevrolet Malibu car “.
? Alright Arianna, we are already waiting for him somewhere outside the mansion, thanks for the update.
“Cora if by chance my dad is the master mind behind what has happened to you and Leah, I hope you forgive him”.
?I will try my best to.
“Thanks Cora”. Arianna said and ended the call, even if she has a feeling that it wasn’t her dad, but she was still scared.

“I just got a call from Arianna, she said her dad already left the mansion with a black Chevrolet Malibu car, so be on the lookout for him”. Cora said.
And they all nods they heads.
They waited patiently for James to pass by the road
“That the car”. Clark alerted, immediately James drove pass them with the car.
Ryan quickly turns on the car engine, and follows James from behind.
And he was so good at it, that even James didn’t know he was being followed.
James pressed the horns of his car, and the gate was opened for him, by one of the security man, and he drove inside a building.
Ryan, Leah, Clark, Cora and Audery came down from the car, they were all dressed in black, like people going for a dangerous mission.
“What is he going here”. Audery asked looking at the building in front of them, because it was so huge and beautiful.
“We have to find out what James is up to”. Cora said.
“But how do we get in, the gates are locked”. Leah asked looking around.
“We can enter the building through the fence”. Ryan said, as he walks towards the fence, and the rest of followed him.
Since Clark and Ryan were much more taller than Cora, Leah and Audery, they helped them climb through the fence.
The five of them made their way into the compound of the building.
“This place is so huge, is kind of like a warehouse, where do we start from”. Clark asked.
“We just have to keep looking around, we might find something”. Audery said.
They nod they heads, and was about to make a move when a group of men surround them.
“Who are you guys” one of them asked, as they all point their guns at them.
The five of them flinched in fear, as they raised their hands above their heads, looking scared.
