MAYA’S POV
We really kssed. We lay there motionless as our heart beat broke the silence.
I wanted to be mad at him but I couldn’t. I wanted to h!t him very hard on the head but I can’t.
Randy, what have you done to me.
I don’t remember how long we stayed there but I sprang up, out of his body.
“Am leaving”, I said before walking out.
I didn’t turn my head until I came to the living and saw Lee. He smiled at me which I returned.
Told him I would be leaving now and took a cab home.

I slumped on my bed, immediately I got home. I wanted to have a rest but it was like my mind has stored the accidentally kss with Randy.
What a j.erk. He must have done that intentionally. What if he didn’t?
Ashhh this pervert came and changed my quiet life.
I will really h!t you hard if the doctor confirms that you aren’t imp®tent.
But those pink lips, they were soft and his eyes so much emotions.
“Maya what’s wrong with you!”, I yelled as a face sIapped myself.
Why do I feel like, I loved the kss. He’s good looking and wealthy but why do I dislike him this much?
Do you? My inner voice asked and it threw me into confusion. I don’t even know myself anymore.

I woke up to meet Dante cooking. God I wanted to cook today but it seems I couldn’t give up on that j.erk, Randy.
“I wanted to cook today. You’re turning me into a lazy girl”, I breathed as I hugged him from the back.
“Came back and saw you on the bed like a log. I decided not to disturb since I was 89% sure that you were stressed for the meeting “,
And we both burst out laughing as he brought me to face him.
“I didn’t h!t him. He just wants me to be his Secretary for five days”
He remained silent for some miutes before asking.
“Do you wanna do it?, We can handle him if you don’t”,
“I will do it alright? Not like is a big deal. I know he’s a je.rk and an id!ot but he has a bit of light in him. Please am hungry”. I said as I sat down on the dinning table.
He kssed me when he served me but I felt disgusted, maybe because it reminded me of the early incident.

The next day saw me at the very company I left days back.
After much exchange of pleasantries, which made me uncomfortable as they were whispering to each, I made for my office.
I saw Lee as he helped me to my office which was inside Randy’s.
He told me he was inside already with a guest, I think.
I held the door knob praying silently countless times. I breathed in for the last time as I turned the knob and entered inside.
I raised my eyes to see..
