CHAPTER 6
NIGHT ?
Mitchell dropped out from Liam’s car and took out her umbrella. He usually drop her off everyday by the roadside.
” Bye!” She waved her hands and Liam drove out without glancing at her one time.
She began to walk down the lane of the street with an umbrella above her head. It was drizzling.
The street was wet and extremely cold. Luckily for her, she had worn boots and wool coat.
Suddenly, A car light started to brim from behind her. It was as if the car was trying to tell her to stop.
The car halted infront of her and she stopped to look at the invader.
” Jump in, I’ll give you a ride.” The young man said.
” Jump in?. I don’t even know you!” She yelled, shrugging her shoulders.
” I just wanna give you a ride, that’s all.” He said and she halted in her steps, stumping her feet angrily.
She only needed a ride all because of the condition of the weather.
She opened the door to the car and got in, slamming it in.
” 36 block.” She said folding her hands while avoiding his face.
” Woah. You live down the street. Cool” He said and she rolled her eyes looking out the window.
The street light was beautiful. She realised she made a bad choice entering the damn car.
He smiled and began to ride. There was a short silence between the both of them.
” I’m Ray. What’s yours?” He finally asked.
” Mitchell.”
” Mi¿…Mitchell!. Haha. The name doesn’t suit you a bit” He said and her face turned sour.
” What do you mean by that, Mugu!” She said.
” Chill. Stop yelling like you want your veins to pull out of your skin.”
” You are sane!. Drop me down this car now!” She yelled, dragging the knob of the door.
” I don’t drop passengers halfway. Whereas, Do you live around here, I’ve never come across you before.” .
” My house number is 36 Block!. I work in the city side so I’m rare!” She said and he woahed.
” Mind if i get your phone number?” He asked and she glared at him.
” I don’t give my number to strangers and dkheads like you ” she mused
” Not…funny.” He smirked and she folded her hands looking away too.
They got to 36 block and he halted his car to a stop. She began to pack her bags and stuffs.
” Please, phone number??” He said waving his phone at her.
She took his phone and typed out her number before returning it to him. That was just a payback to him for giving her a lift to her house.
Before she could hear him speak again, She set out of his car, slamming the door close with a loud powerful bang.
Ray joyfully kicked his hands in the air.
” I just drew a fish by my hook from the large water.” He said to himself and picked his phone to call Emperor.

LIAM’S MANSION
Liam was sitting in the livingroom sofa, leg crossed and his arm on the sofa headrest.
The clock was ticking fast and his eyes kept on gazing at the wall clock.
The rain was falling heavily and he was feeling on edge. May hadn’t return home and for the first time, he was feeling scared.
Not until the door finally opened.
May walked in, looking like a drentched kitten from the rain. She stepped in slowly and stood infront of Liam.
” G..good evening.” Shd said, shaking terribly. Liam reached his gaze at her and she saw the terrible look in his eyes.
If looks could kll, her bI.ood could have dried up leaving her de.ad.
” If i ask why you returned home late, you’ll tell me it’s because of the rain.” He said.
” I..i..was searching for a cab and…”
” And?. What excuse do you think will lighten up my mood at this moment?” He asked.
” I’m so sorry.” She said lowering her face in fear.
” Your punishment await you. Go dry up yourself first, I’ll be in your room soon.” He said and May pouted a sad lip.
He stood up and began to head to his room and she took her route as well.

After having a bubble bath, she sat infront of her mirror pulling in her red nightwear on her skin.
While she was brushing her hair, the thought of Emperor crossed her mind again.
She had been unable to concentrate ever since she left the office. She totally forgot about her punishment she was owing her husband.
After she was done with the hair stuffs, she brought out her diary and bounced to sit on the bed.
She was going to write down the most of her moments in first day of work today.
Soon, the door got opened and May stood up, burying a diary behind her backs.
Liam walked in. He looked around her room cuz he hadn’t step into this place for mp centuries.
He stopped and glared at her.
” What are you hiding?” He asked and she nervously shaked her heads. If he saw her diary then she was grounded for life.
He rolled his hands to her back and picked out her diary, opening it from the last piece of chapter he turned into.
” What are all this?”
” Those are my fun bucket list we created together a year ago” She said.
” Bucket list?” He raised his brows.
” Um. Its like a fun activity two people do together.” She explained but his brows creased up the more.
” You came home late today.” He said stumping the book close.
May swallowed, stepping back and bouncing back on the bed.
” You got me worried, which I’m not supposed to feel. I dared myself to punish you until I’m satisfied.” He said and palmed the bed, trapping her in.
She looked up at him, her heart beating erratically in her chest.
” What pvnishment do you deserve?” He asked, glaring at her from the dark pit of his eyes.
