CHAPTER 35
Liam had gotten his shirt on. He started to do his neck tie and his eyes watched Ms lily.
She had plastered on her face a shocked, so dropped to earth expression to see Liam back on his feet again.
She didn’t know if he was playing a joke or it was all in her old hallucinations.
His back was still bleeding profusely. One would think he had jumped into a pool of red.
Liam started to rush towards the door and Ms lily ran swiftly to stop the dvil that was smoking through his ears.
She quickly got hold of his wrist, stopping him from pulling the door.
” Who the h’ll are you. How…You just got into an accident and…?!”
” And I’m moving to seek for justice against Emperor.” He said, widening his eyes and glaring hard at her.
” Justice?. What are you saying!. Did you loose your head again?” She asked concerned.
Liam turned and gripped her shoulders firmly, squinting his de.adly gaze at her.
” You do not know anything!!. You don’t know what the happenings are, so just sit and never stop me!. okay?!” He yelled and Ms lily bit her lips tremendously.
She looked up and saw the traces of bI.ood falling down the line of his face, his shoulder…Everywhere.
Her heart suddenly clenched hard in pain. She can’t seem to understand why Liam would have to go all through this pain.
” But your scars…They aren’t healed up yet. Don’t you feel pains?” She asked and Liam scoffed.
” I do not feel any pains when my heart is currently as cold as ice.” He said and turned away from her face.
” The scars will heal on it own. I don’t have much time to sit here and pretend to be weak.” He said and grabbed hold of door, staring at her again.
” Take a cab home. I’ll find my way from here.” He said and with that, he left the hospital office.

OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL
Mitchell was walking really fast. She was passing through the parked cars in the parking lots.
The night had finally come and lightening was seen in the sky but there was no rain.
It seemed as if nature could feel as much pain as she was feeling at that moment.
Liam was in a coma and he was almost dying. She thought Ray said d.eath wasn’t involved in their schemes.
She stupidly worked under them not knowing the complications they had land her boss into.
She felt so betrayed, and Used.
” Mitchell!” Ray called, walking in a haste as he followed her.
” Don’t spit my name outta your mouth!” She yelled, walking more faster
Ray took another lane and bursted in front of her and she immediately stopped in her tracks.
” Why are you avoiding me, Mitchell?”
” I’ve told you. Stop following me!. I don’t have anything to do with you!” Mitchell yelled and threw her hair aside.
She tried to walk past him but he tugged her hands and made her rest her head on his chest.
He hugged her and Mitchell kept struggling with his shirt, for him to let go of her body.
” Let me go!. Pervet!. Ugh!… I’m gonna ki¢k your front a$s now!” She yelled but Ray fisted his arm around her giving her less space to act.
” I won’t let you go, Elle. Stay with me like this.” He said and Mitchell cursed underneath him.
He began to pat her hair and she shut her eyes feeling disgusted by their closeness.
” Look. I’m sorry. I’m sorry I hurt Liam. I’m quite jealous that you are feeling this way towards him.” He said.
” Liam is my boss. He’s my best friend. Do you expect me not to feel hurt?!”
” I don’t like it when you cherish other people aside me. I really like you Mitchell and if hurting Liam would cause us to tear apart then I’m ready to quit working for Emperor.” He said.
Mitchell slowly got off his chest and he finally let go of her so that they could stare at eachother’s eyes.
Mitchell gave a loud heave of sigh
” I can’t forgive you, Ray. If Liam doesn’t feel alright then I’m not alright as well. Right now, I’m not alright okay!. And Let me be alone!” She yelled and turned around to change route.
She remained stiff, rain had began falling. It started up very heavily and Mitchell hugged her skin as it got wet.
She started to walk away and a loud deafening BANG was heard just behind her.
She halted in her tracks, widening her eyes. Her heart kept beating out of her chest.
What was that terrible sound. She slowly turned around and almost forgot to breath.
What she saw got her nerves wrecking hard. Her jaw was dropped in the most shocking order.
It was Liam, looking like a pure definition of a ranging mnster.
His white shirt had soaked entirely with bI.ood into his broad chest.
His dark hair was wet, falling over to a side of his face and his powerful abs were showing on his chest.
He wasn’t only looking dangerous but he was looking so dmn intimidating.
Mitchell had never seen him this way despite the recent times he had gotten very madly upset.
It seems like this time, he had gotten berserk and he could kll without thinking twice.
He was holding up Ray with his collar and his back was resting on a car.
The car had gotten a large bump by the way Liam had hit him toward the direction.
” Where is Emperor?” Liam asked with bI.oodshot eyes.
Mitchell saw his bI.oody backs. She wondered how he got up from the hospital bed, looking still injured, but still strong.
Ray struggled with Liam’s hand on his collar.
” Get your filthy hands off my.. ”
PVNCH!!. Liam had gave him one on his cheek and it affected his whole face immediately.
Ray mouth began to bleed profusely. it was a very sounding punch that Mitchell palmed her cheeks to be sure it wasn’t her.
” Where…is…EMPEROR!!” Liam raised his voice.
” He left…to…home.” Ray quickly replied, breathlessly, while palming his bloody disfigured face.
Liam squinted his eyes and ran his fingers into his wet hair.
” Dmn it!. I was late.” He gritted. He knew Emperor had taken his wife along. The thought of it was making him want to growl loudly.
He didn’t want any man or kid with his wife. She belonged to him alone and for no one else.
Why does everyone failed to understand his logic. why couldn’t he enjoy being married.
He wanted the fastest means to get to Emperor’s house as soon as possible.
” Your bike keys.” He ordered and Ray simply obliged like a responsive slave.
He dropped the keys on Liam’s hand and Liam left hold of Ray’s collar, making him drop aimlessly to the ground.
He walked towards the bike.
” Climb on.” He told Mitchell as he started up the bike.
Mitchell finally jumped down to earth after a long while of staring and disbelieving that everything happening presently was in her imagination.
” Huh?” Mitchell felt scared. Liam eyes met her and she froze at a spot.
” Climb.” He gritted his teeth. Mitchell quickly jumped on the bike without saying any more words.
Liam drove off immediately in a dashing speed and Mitchell was forced to hug his bIoody shirt.
Ray picked his phone with difficulty and tried Calling Emperor as soon as possible.
