? *Chuckles* No, not anymore Ma. I was in the dark then but now, I understand why things are going the way they are.
? Really? Oh that’s good then. Well, about from checking up on you, I called to inform you that things are back to normal over here, and my husband too has suddenly agreed to help you financially alongside me.
? Wow, really? Yes, I was even surprised myself.
? (Thinking inwardly: “prayer works o”) I’m very happy to hear this, and double happy because I’d be financially stable in no time and you won’t have to bother about me anymore. I won’t also forget to repay you for your kindness Ma, and daddy’s too.
? That’s more like it. Things will get better soon dearie. And no, you do not need to bother yourself on repaying us; it’s something we would’ve done to our own son, and someone helped us a whole lot before we got to this height. So you don’t have to bother, okay?

“Papa I’m here. Good day Sir.”.
“Good day my son. How has life been treating you all these while?”
“Very well Papa, untill recently. Things that were easy amare just seeming difficult these days and opportunities slip my hands even before I know what is going on.
It isn’t too serious now, but I don’t want to take things for granted.” He said as Mazi Mbakwe went into thoughts for a while.
“I know the reason behind your recent experiences, but I haven’t found out who’s responsible yet.”
“Hmmm…..”
“Come with me, I need to show you something.” Mazi said as he went into the shrine with his son.
“Hmmmm….Papa. You mean I’ve been making use of someone’s glory all these while?” Frank asked in low tones after Mazi was done narrating everything.
“Exactly. On the day the father of the child brought the baby and his materials for rituals, I took advantage of his ignorance and transferred the child’s glory to you.”
“But Papa, how was the transfer possible?”
“The hair. The hair is the symbol of one’s glory and since I asked for the child’s hair, it made things easier for me.”
“Hmmm……”
“Don’t let this get you into deep thoughts. It’s not new in this world any longer as I’ve done this for a lot of people- ranging from barbers to hair dresses, to parents like this case.”
“Hmmm….okay Papa if all these wealth and fame is someone’s stolen glory, where is mine?” He asked as Mazi chuckled sadly.
“Your own glory? It’s with you, you possess both his and yours.” He said and leaned in.
“Frank, you weren’t destined to be rich and known as you are; that’s someone else’s glory. Your own glory is just to be known by few amount of people. I felt cheated about it because how could I be faithfully serving supernatural beings have a son of lower glory while that a mere mortal who possibly disregard them possessed a larger glory.”
“Hmm….Papa, I don’t want you to scatter my head with all these explanations. The summary of the whole this is, I’m using a stolen glory, right?”
“Exactly.”
“And the person wants to have it back, right.”
“Apparently, yes.”
“So if this unknown person recovers his glory, what would happen to me?”
“You’d be demoted and function according to your own glory.”
“Papa, it’s not possible.”
“What’s not possible?”
“I’m not returning this glory. I mean, I’m very famous and…..no, it’s just not possible.”
“No one said you are going to be poor. You’d still be known; but within a smaller circle of people and not worldwide.”
“Noo….Papa it’s not possible!”
“My friend calm your nerves and listen to me! I only explained to you so you’d understand the reason behind the sudden change in tides.
I myself want to retaliate but I don’t even know where the attack is coming from- an intercessor or the owner of the glory himself.
When I tried finding out who, the whole place was full of fire and mighty angels.”
“I don’t understand; you mean you used something to check or what?”
“(Chuckles) Son, there’s alot you don’t know. I went to the house of the source of your problems to find out who he was and what kind of power he had but the place was full of fire and mighty angels.” He tried explaining as Frank rubbed his head in confusion.
“Dad I don’t understand much about this but please, do all you can to protect this stolen glory, I do not want to give it back because I’m enjoying it, and have gotten used to the fame.”
“Well said my son; consider it done!”
