The alarm woke me up and I yawned then stretched my bones
G©sh, I wish I could sleep more but I need to prepare for class, I yawned again and ran my finger through my hair lazily
I stood up and put on my flip flop then walked into the bathroom, I stared at myself for a while in the mirror before putting some paste on my Brush

I dried my body and hang the towel then apply my skin lotion before putting on my clothes
It was a pink gown I bought yesterday on my way back, I just saw the cloth and loved it
I arranged my hair into a ribbon and then pick up my books and phone
Since last night I’ve been trying to reach Vanessa to know how she’s doing but her line wasn’t connecting
I sure will go and see her after school, I just hope she didn’t do anything stupid
From the stairs I looked down the dining and meet Noah eating but he was backing me
Well after he stood up for his girlfriend without proper judgment I’ve decided to ignore him totally
Maybe I was being way too forward with him, or maybe I was making it look like I’m all over him
I ignored him and tried to walk to the door but his voice stops me
“You won’t have breakfast?”
I turned to look at him but he didn’t look up, still engrossed in the food he was picking at
“I’m Good” I simply replied and walked out of the mansion to the garage
But I know I was starving
I stared around but couldn’t find my car , luckily one of Noah’s driver came in
“Hey please” I waved at him and he walked over
“Yes ma’am”
“Have you seen my car? I’m late for school and I need to leave”
“Sir Noah ordered we drive it out of the building”
“Why? Of what excuse?” I was getting mad
Was he trying to make me walk to school? Or was he trying to get back on me?
But hey I did nothing to him, g©sh!
“He never disclosed it ma’am” his voice was innocent
Really? Should I go back inside the house and confront him? I’m late!
“So sorry am late ma’am” a voice said behind me
“For what? I stared around to confirm he as speaking to me
“For keeping you waiting, I’m sorry”
I watched him open a white ferrie car , the car haven’t been in the garage all this while
“What’s the meaning of this?” I finally asked once I found my tongues
“Oh sorry I didn’t introduce, My name is Moses and I’m your new driver”
I scoff “what do you mean?”
“Sir Noah ordered I drive you to and from school and to where ever you’re going”
I stared at him for some seconds then laughs a little
“You’re kidding me right?
“I’m not ma’am” he replied innocently
I stared at the car then to the house to the driver
“You mean Noah ordered you to…?” I asked once more
“Yes ma’am he did” he replied

I put the short towel into the bowel containing cold water and then dry it a little and placed it on vannesa’s forehead
I have already ordered some of my maid who came over to help arrange the room which they did
Vannesa leds on the bed sleeping peacefully and all I do was just to watch over her and makes sure she was okay
My phone suddenly rings and I stared at the screen, it was my manager calling so I picked up
“Good morning sir”
“Yeah, what happened?” I asks and stared at vannesa once more before walking out of the room
“Your 8:05 meeting is set, they are already waiting up for you”
I ran my fingers through my hair
“Cancel all my appointments for today”
“Why sir ? There are already here”
“I said cancel all today’s appointment I can’t come!” I yelled in whisper
“Okay sir”
I ended the call and sighed, then walked back to vannesa’s room and meet her awake
At first she didn’t noticed me as she just stretched herself, I can’t believe she’s back for real
Immediately her eyes landed on me her expression changed , then her tiny voice came up

I combed my hair neatly and stared at myself in the mirror, I was looking handsome
But I know I was still gonna get mocked at school because I know nothing but there was nothing I can do
I already tried to learn how to focus but in as much as I tried, I knew I can’t do it
I picked up my school bag and walked out of my room
My stay at this mansion had been one of the best days in my life,though I missed my mum and Amily
But I’m a boy, and a boy has a life cause he will always be away from his family in the name of creating his and if you’re not strong enough you can’t hold on
I was about knocking at Aunt Esther’s room door but I stopped when I heard her mention Amily’s name
“Yes I know but I think Amily will be just perfect”
“No way am allowing him do that”
“I know that, but it doesn’t matter”
“I don’t care but all I know is that Amily is going to Marry him no mater what”
I lose grap of the book in my hand and it fall on the floor
“I’ll call you back” Esther said and turned to me
“Samar” she walks up to me but I moved back allowing my tears to fall
“Samar? Are you alright?”
“You!….I stopped and look at her
“What happened Samar, why you crying”
“Don’t….” I stepped back stopping her from touching me
“What do you take my family for? A play roles?
“Sam…?
“Stop the pretence! You separated I and my sister, my family, and now I was thinking things are getting okay…you…you want to marry my sister off? She’s just a high school student!”
“Samar that’s not it”
“Then what? What is it? You gonna convince her to marry someone who feels nothing about her, all you care is your brothers happiness! But I Samar, I care for my sister’s happiness the same way you do to your brother, and if you think you gonna use her as your toy then I tell you , you failed” I shouted at her
“Sam” her voice faded
“My family is not a piece of trash! If my dad hadn’t been away from home we won’t be here, If you think it’s all about your money and the pay my sister is getting then this contract is OVER”
“What? No Samar, listen”
“Stop…..!” I stared at her once more and rush back into my room bolting the door
My family can’t be a slave in the name of love and money!!
