Lemon Juice

Due to its richness in vitamin C, fresh lemon acts as an antioxidant and heals keloid scar quickly.

Directly apply lemon juice on the affected area. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then wash the area with warm water. Do this twice a day for a few weeks until you have noticed a change in texture, flexibility, and skin color.

Garlic

Garlic root gets rid of keloids by blocking certain enzymes from entering the skin which contributes to tissue and pigment build-up. Regular application of the garlic may help lighten scars overtime.

For this remedy, you need to take 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic. Crush the cloves and apply on the keloid area. Let it sit for 15 minutes and wash off with water and apply a moisturizer. You may reduce or discontinue its application if the garlic burns your skin.

Honey

Honey has anti-inflammatory properties that effectively reduce keloids. It prevents dead cells from accumulating in the area, enhances blood circulation and speeds up the healing process.

Get rid of keloids by directly applying honey on it. Massage gently and let it sit for 30-40 minutes. Rinse with water. Daily application of honey twice a day for a number of weeks can effectively remove keloids.

Aloe Vera Gel

The use of aloe vera gel can heal keloids in the initial ages. Thanks to its antibacterial, antiseptic, and wound healing properties.

Onion

According to studies, quercetin – a flavonol in onions with antioxidant properties – can speed up healing and reduce scar height. Also, it was found that onion extract can stop fibroblasts — the cells that produce the scar tissue — from entering the skin.

Simply cut a small onion into pieces and squeeze out the juice by pressing it with a clean cloth. Apply the juice on the keloid are, let it dry, and rinse properly. For best results, apply three to four times per day.

Baking Soda

This great remedy which is readily available in your kitchen can help soothe, exfoliate and keep the skin clean. Aside from this, it also reduces any preset swelling.

For this remedy, you need to make a paste using 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 3 teaspoons 3% hydrogen peroxide. Use a cotton ball to apply the paste on the affected area. Let it stand for 20 minutes and wash off with water. Do this twice a day for a few weeks and thank me later.
