It’s been a month since that wonderful birthday surprise Brandon gave me and we have gotten even closer.
I feel so happy around him,Bella says that i have fallen in love with him but i don’t really know because i have never been in love before.
I have never even had a boyfriend,even though my dad is never around,he made sure that I didn’t have a boyfriend because he said i will only get heartbroken.
“Gosh,am so hungry” i said and yawned.
We just finished watching a movie at my house.
“Then tell the chef to cook” Brandon said.
“She’s not around”
“Then you cook” He said then i rolled my eyes.
“I don’t know how to”
“You don’t know how to cook?”
“Yeah,i never learnt”
“Wow,so much for being a girl” he said and i hit him with my leg.
“Shut up, let’s just order pizza”
“No,i have a better idea,i will cook” he said,i started laughing.
“You,cook?.. impossible” I said.
“Watch me, let’s go to the kitchen”
We walked over to the kitchen.
I watched him put on a apron,which made me laugh.
“Keep laughing at me” he said and i giggled.
“Sorry, it’s just i have never seen this side of you”
“I have never shown anyone this side of me”
“Then why are you showing me?”
“I don’t know, maybe it’s because you are special and really beautiful” he said.
I looked away so that he won’t see me blushing.
“Don’t hide your face,i know you are blushing” he said making me giggle
“So what are you cooking?”
“Brown rice and salad”
“Okay,it seems you have got this under control,so i will just go and watch some TV”
“Come back, little lady,you are going to watch me cook”
“Urrgh, come on,brandy”
“Stay here or i won’t cook again”
“Okay,fine,you are such a pain the *a$$”
“I will love to be a pain in your beautiful *ss”
He started laughing,he’s such a per.vert.
In no time,we were through cooking,it was fun.
Brandon is a really good cook.
“The food was delicious”
“Thanks,am glad you enjoyed it”
“I really did,so come on, let’s go…”
“Wait,what is this?”
He said pointing to my shoulder.
“Oh, it’s a tattoo”
“You have a tattoo? Since when?” He asked
“Since i was 17, it’s my mom’s eye”
I did the tattoo in honor of my mom but my dad doesn’t know.
“It’s really nice,it actually looks like your eyes”
“Yeah,my dad and uncle say i look just like my mom”
“Well,i have a tattoo too”
“You do?”
“Yeah,let me show you”
He undid two unbuttons,then i saw on his chest the names ‘Cle0patra and David’
“It’s the names of my parents”
Wow, that’s really amazing.
“I like it, it’s really deep”
“I wish they were here,so that i can tell them i love them” he said sadly.
I hugged him,he hugged me back.
“Am really sorry, Brandon”
“It’s okay,at least i have people like you”
“Yeah”
We disengaged from the hug,then we started staring at each other.
Our faces were getting so close to each other and i couldn’t stop staring at his lips.
We were so close to kssing when the doorbell rang.
“I..i will go get it”
I walked away feeling so nervous,i almost kssed Brandon.
I opened the door and i was a little surprised.
“Zach?”
“Hey,Nikky” he said smiling at me.
“What..what are you doing here? It’s not like am not happy to see you”
“I came to hang out with you”
“Okay,come in”

I almost kssed her,i almost kssed Nicole.
What’s up with me these days?
I can’t sleep without thinking about Nicole,when i wake up, she’s the first person i think of.
I find myself day dreaming about her.
If it wasn’t for the doorbell,we would have kssed.
I walked over to see who was at the door,i paused on my steps when i heard a familiar Voice, it’s Zach.
What’s he doing here?
“It’s Zach” Nicole said as she walked in.
“I know,i heard his voice”
“He said he wants to hang out with me”
“Well,go for it”
“What about you?”
“Am going home”
“No,you can’t go home,come join us”
“I can’t,i and Zach don’t like each other, remember?”
“But you can’t just leave”
“I can,and besides,you like Zach, don’t you?”

I mean he has been my crush since middle school but everything has changed.
“Brandon,i…”
“Shh, don’t say anything else,have fun with Zach,am leaving besides, it’s about to rain”

He walked out through the back door.

I and Zach watched movies together and played games but i couldn’t stop thinking about Brandon.
I don’t know if am going crazy buy anytime i close my eyes,his images pops up in my head.
I wasn’t even concentrating on what Zach was saying.
“Nicole,are you and Brandon dating?”
“No,we are just friends”
“I see you two around each other all the time,Nikky,you know he is a big time fl!rt, don’t hurt yourself”
“Zach, Brandon is a changed person”
“We have known him since middle school”
“Yeah but he has changed”
“Speaking of middle school,do you remember those times i would place letters on your table everyday”
“You wrote really sweet things in the letter”
Zach would always put a letter on my desk back in middle school.
“I gotta go, the rain is coming”
“Okay,bye”
I watched as he zoomed off in his car.
I closed the door and leaned on it.
Brandon’s images came up in my head again.
“Why can’t you get out of my head?”
Then i heard a knock on the door.
“Who could that be,the rain has already started”
I opened up and it was Brandon.
“What are you doing here?”
” I decided to come back but after Zach left”
“You haven’t told me why you and Zach hate each other so much”
Zach and Brandon were actually close friends back in middle school but one day,they started hating each other.
“I will tell you later but now, let’s play in the rain”
“Play in the rain? We aren’t 5 years old”
“Come on, it’s fun”
He dragged me before i could resist.
We were already wet.
“Brandon,you are so childish”
I noticed he was staring at something,i looked down,i became shy.
The rain made the shirt I was wearing relax on my body. It made my npp.les point out of the shirt.
I quickly turned around, feeling so shy.
Brandon started laughing.
“It’s nothing to be shy about, it’s actually sxy”
He turned me around to face him.
“You are such a fl!rt”
“I promise,i won’t look at it… too much”
We were playing around in the rain.
We were close to each other,our foreheads touching.
“Why am i feeling this way?”
“What way?”
I touched his cheek,our eyes never left each other.
“The strong connection between us” i said and he chuckled.
“I feel it too,maybe it’s because we are friends”
“Yeah, maybe”
“You are actually the best thing that has happened to me”he said.
I hugged him so tight.
“Why do you like hugging me?” He asked and i smiled.
” I feel safe in your arms, like nothing can hurt me”
“We should better go inside,i don’t want you to catch a cold and plus your npp.les are poking my chest” he said making us both laugh.
We disenaged from the hug and walked inside.
