Well, it’s been two days since Brandon decided to be friends with me, he has been really fun to be with.
“Am so happy we are through with our project” I said excitedly.
Brandon and i was at my house.
“Yeah,i was seriously tired of those history” he said making me laugh.
“Yeah,me too.. let’s watch a movie”
“Okay but I don’t do r0mantic movies”
“Kk”
We sat down and he brought out a cigarette.
“Hey,can i have some of that?”
“Some of what?” He asker confused.
“A cigarette,i want to smoke too”
I could see he was surprised.
“You wanna what?”
“Smoke,so hand me a stick”
“No,am not giving you anything”
“But why?”
“It’s.. it’s bad for your health”
“Then why are you smoking?”
“I..i…Nicole, don’t bring this up”
“Bring what up?”
“My Smoking habit”
“When did you start?”
He sighed and started scratching the back of his neck.
“When..when i was 15”
“Woah, 15?”
“Yeah,i know what you are thinking?”
“What do you think am thinking?”
“That am a re.bel”

“Well,i don’t think you are a rebel,i think you need someone to talk to and am that person”
She’s the first person to tell me that.
“I don’t think i have anything to say about my past”
“Everyone has something to say about their past,like me,i lost my mom at the age of 6,my dad hardly has time for me, I don’t think he knows my real age”
“Wow, that’s deep”
“And painful, so tell me,what happened to your family?”
“They died on the day i was born,so i was taken into the orphanage”
“I never knew all this and we have been together since middle school”
“Well,Zach always took your time and I was very good at hiding my emotions”
“Well,you shouldn’t anymore since you have me,i will be your shoulder to cry on”
“Nikky,this is not a movie”
“I know but am just telling you that you have a friend in me”
“Thanks, behind those big b.00bs and perfect shape, there is a kind person in you”
She hit my arm and frowned making me laugh.
“You are such a fl!rt, Brandon Drew Bradford”
“But you love me like the other girls”
“Like you?..you are not even handsome”
“Yeah, right, keep lying to yourself”
“You know,i can help you with your bad habit,i can help you quit smoking”
“How?”
“You will reduce the way you smoke,we will start one stick at a time”
“You think that will work?”
“Definitely,so are you in?”
“Yeah, whatever”

2 weeks later,
“He is like really improving” i said to Bella.
I was telling her about Brandon’s recovery from Smoking.
He is really improving,it was hard at first but it’s really working.
“You seem so happy about it”
“Yeah,Bella, am happy seeing him recover”
“Have you noticed something for the past two weeks?” Bella asked making me confused.
“What?”
“You haven’t talked about Zach for two weeks”

“Yeah,i haven’t had time to talk to him”
“Because you have been hanging with Brandon”
“Yeah,but where are you going with that…i hope you don’t think i have feelings for Brandon”
“Maybe,a little, come on, Nikky,you two fit so well”
“Am not hearing any of it, Bella stop it,i don’t like Brandon”

“You have really changed” Micheal said staring at me.
“Really? How?”
“You look alot handsome” Jason said smirking.
“I don’t see it” i said perfunctorily.
“And you know the cr@ziest thing,you have hooked up with a girl in a while”
Now that i think about it,they are actually right,i haven’t hooked up in a long while.
“It’s probably because i have been with Nicole”
“She’s really changing you”
“You like her, don’t you?”
“No,i don’t”
“Admit it,you yourself told us that you had a crush on her since you saw her in middle school”
“That was middle school and i was just 7 years old,am over that”
“Keep telling yourself that, but if you need love advise,we are here for you”
They started laughing.
