We were at the hospital waiting for the doctor’s report.
“I knew something will happen,i just didn’t think it will happen to my best friend,oh God, please protect her” Bella said in tears.
“Don’t worry,Nicole is a fighter, nothing will happen to her”
Mrs Smith, Nicole’s chef came rushing in.
“Where’s my Nicole?” She said almost in tears.
“The doctors are examining her our school principal said.
I really want Nicole to come out of this alive.
The doctor walked and all of us rushed ti meet him.
“How’s Nicole?”
“Well,she was poisoned and the poison was really strong but thank God she’s out of danger” the doctor said and we all gave a sigh of relief.
“Can we see her?” Bella asked.
“She’s still unconscious but someone must have poisoned her,what was the last thing she took?”
“An energy drink” i replied.
“Yeah,we took an energy drink before leaving,i finished mine but she still had hers”
“Then the drink was poisoned,the person who did it really wanted her dead”
“Who could that be?” Bella asked.
Only Chelsea really hated Nicole but can she go to the extent of killing her
“I have one suspect” i said.
“Me too” Bella said.
“Chelsea” I and Bella said at the same time.
“Chelsea hates Nicole so much,it has to be her”
“Then we would have to bring her in for questioning” The principal said.
The doctor wanted to say something when a nurse approached us.
“Doctor, Nicole Norman is awake”
“Thank Goodness”
? Chantel’s P.o.v?
“They have already called the police, Chelsea” Audrey said.
“I don’t care,they have no proof”
“You know Nicole’s dad is a really powerful man”
“Well,i don’t care”
The police and our school principal arrived at my house.
“Chelsea,you need to follow us for questioning”
“Why?”
“You are suspect in the attempted murder of Nicole Norman”
“Am not going anywhere, I didn’t poison that btch”
“Hold up,we never told you she was poisoned,how did you know?”
Oh, goodness,am so screwed.
“Um..um,i just guessed”
“You are lying, Chelsea” the principal said
“Am not and you can’t prove anything”
“She did, Chelsea poisoned Nicole” Audrey said making me so surprised.
“Am sorry, Chelsea but you have to pay for what you did,when you told me you wanted to deal with Nicole,i thought you only wanted to beat her up but am not in favor of killing her and i warned you”
“You btch,you are supposed to support me”
“I can’t support killing someone.”
The police officer handcuffed me and took me away.

“Dad,am okay,no need to worry” i said to my dad for the umpteenth time.
We were video calling each other.
“Okay,but am sorry ,i couldn’t be there”
“It’s okay,i know you love me”
“I really do, Chelsea has already been arrested and she’s been expelled from the school”
“I know but i would really love of they didn’t put her in prison for life”
“That’s what she deserves for messing with my daughter but since you insist,i would have to obey”
“Thanks,dad,i love you so much”
“Love you too,i have to go but make sure you eat, okay?”
“Yes,sir, bye”
The screen went blank.
“Chelsea’s such a d.umb btch” Bella said making me laugh.
“I know right,she thought she could go away with it”
“She’s just jealous because my bestie is so beautiful that no one can resist”
Bella hugged me making me giggle.
“I love you, bonehead” She said.
“Love you too,psycho”
“Let me go get you something to eat” She said and walked away.
? Bella’s P.o.v?
I walked out of Nicole’s room and i saw Brandon waiting outside.
“Aren’t you gonna see her?”
“I will,i just need to gather my thoughts” He said.
“You know she loves you ,right?”
“I know,she told me before we rushed her to the hospital”
“Nicole has never been cr@zy about a guy she is crazy about you”
“Bella,there’s alot you and Nicole don’t know”
“Then tell me”
“I can’t but soon, i have to go see her”

I walked in to see Nicole,she was looking down on her phone.
“Hey” i said,she looked up and her beautiful eyes starred at me.
“Hey,i thought you wouldn’t come” She said.
I walked closer and sat in front of her.
“Why wouldn’t i come,you are my close friend”
“Yeah,friends”
“So how are you?”
“Am okay, just happy that Chelsea got caught”
“Yeah,she deserves Jail”
An awkward slience crept in.
“Um..so about what we were talking about before all this” She said breaking the slience.
“Yeah,Nicole,i..i don’t know how to say this”
“Say it anyhow,i will understand”
“I know that you have feelings for me but i..i don’t love you,am sorry” i said and she chuckled.
“You are lying, Brandon,your eyes say different,i know you love me too”
“Nicole,am serious about this,i..i don’t feel the same way about you”
This is only thing i can do to protect, because if i date her,my dark secret will be revealed.
“I don’t believe you at all,i don’t know why you are lying either”
“Nicole,you have to understand”
“No,i don’t want to understand,i don’t” She half yelled.
The door opened and Zach walked in holding a bouquet of roses.
“Hey, gorgeous,i came to see you,i hope am not interrupting anything” He said.
“No, Brandon was just leaving” Nicole said glaring at me.
I stood up and walked away.
