Episode 17
Lydia booked a flight for the next morning, so she had to stay in an hotel for the night
Staying indoors just makes her even more sad, she can’t stop thinking and thinking makes her emotional and as it is she has drained out am the energy left
After picking up her car
She thought of whom to call
Other than Lucia, she has no other family left, No friends too… Lucia made sure of that
And she badly wants to see Pascal, even though she said good bye to him yesterday….
But how many times has she said goodbye to him
They just keep falling back together
His call came through as she was trying to stop thinking about him
She removed her sim and tossed it out
She can’t trust herself around him
Yes she has issues with Ken but getting tangled up with pascal would only complicate things
At the hotel…..
She got fed up staying indoors
So she decided to take a stroll
It was late but the streets were still busy.
She noticed alot of people heading to a particular spot
Out of curiosity she head in the same direction too And notice it was a game night resort
She asked the security for the services and what it was all about
The security guard told her it was a resort but tonight they are having a special game night for their customers
Lydia wondered if this could just help take her mind off things for awhile
she purchased a ticket and they opened the gates for her
The resort was absolutely beautiful
When was the last time she has taken herself on a treat.. Or vacation
The last time she traveled, she was jumping from one doctor’s appointment to another
Trying so hard
So hard to enjoy the fruit of her marriage
So hard she didn’t make time for herself
Time to enjoy life to the fullest.
One of the staffs led her to the shore area. Too bad she’s not in prepared. Everyone is in their bikinis ? and shorts.
Thank God she picked a dress from a store earlier.. She would have looked so out of place still dressed in her office gown.
They started a bonfire and everyone sat round it, as people were given the opportunity to crack jokes and ribs too.
It took her a while before she got accustomed to the fun night and allow herself have fun and even chat with a few people.
Some people opted out to ride the ferry’s wheel ?
Then somehow she summoned enough courage to go on.
As she joined the queue
Someone whispered something into her ears.
“Are You sure… You want to go on that ride alone ”
She turned but he dodged, she looked out for him and saw him hanging behind her.
“Pascal ” she exclaimed with her eyes out
“Whhhaat….. Are .. You doing here. ”
“Heyyy pancho. It good to see you too”
He gave a. Big hug, she pulled him out of the queue
“Wait… Have you been stalking me ”
“On the contrary… I have actually been looking for you but I didn’t even know.. I would ever find you in a place like this ”
” am serious Pascal… How did you get here… Did you come with the kids”
“No. . unfortunately I didn’t know about this place until some minutes ago… What are you doing here… Have been looking everywhere for you ”
“How did you find me”
“I don’t know… I was bored to death and I was listening to the radio and they asked a random question the price was a ticket to the game night and i called in and answered the question and I won… They gave me the address and the code to claim my reward at the venue and here I am… I just got here and I saw you… I thought it can’t be right so I got closer to make sure ”
“How’s this possible ”
How’s iit possible that he is here with her right now
What kind of trick is fate playing with her.
He throw his hand over her shoulder.
“Stop sulking and let’s enjoy the night ”
“And You are sure.. You didn’t track me or something ”
“No I didn’t….. I swear I didn’t, Cmon let’s join the queue…. When was the last time. You rode a ferry’s wheel…. You can’t remember right…. Let’s be kids again… Allow yourself to have fun ”
She smiled…
He has the key to her heart
He knows just what to say

Lucia was in bed, when her phone rang
it was Bobby calling
She jumped immediately to answer the phone
Pascal is not back and he has not been answering her calls
“Hello Bobby….. ”
“Ahhh madam.. This is serious vigil ”
“I know don’t worry.. I’ll compensate you big time… So how far have you found him”
“Yes he is at a resort ”
“Resort…. What resort”
“Blue waters….. ”
“With whom ”
“Am not sure, he came here on his own but he might be meeting up with someone ”
“What do you mean by might be ”
“I’m not sure… I can’t go in.. I need ticket ”
“Then get one ”
“Actually it quite expensive and I don’t have much on me”
“How much is it?”
“Fifteen thousand” he lied
“Okay… I will send it right away.. Make sure you keep a close tab on him and let me know who he is meeting ”

After about an hour.
Lucia couldn’t sleep, she paced around the house waiting for bobby’s update.
Then finally the call came through
“Madam… They just left oooh”
“They… Who’s they ”
“They are heading to an hotel… Ohhh”
“What…… What hotel ” she screamed
“LA Costa hotel”
“Together ”
“Yes together ”
“Ohhh my God…… Am on my way ”
Before she could hang up
He whispered.
“And she looks just like you….. Madam.
