I woke up and saw my body dripping wet and I managed to open my eyes and saw three guys looking at me holding a pail of water,
“Nice sleep, one of them said and I coughed and shook my head so I can see them clearly,
“What do you want from me? There’s no money, I weakly said and one angrily held me on my cheeks.
“Do you know where you are? Where did you keep the money! One shouted on my face.
“I told you I don’t know where it is! I shouted back and he hit me hard on my face and I bent my head. I could not do anything because I was tied on the chair,
“Please I don’t have the money, you searched the house right? I asked them.
“You kept it somewhere didn’t you? Just tell me where it Is and that’s all, one replied but I shook my head and they smiled.
A guy came in with a hammer and I began to shiver when I saw their faces, it was not looking good but I could not free myself,
“I will ask you one last time, where is the brief case? Don’t kll yourself na, no be you get the money sef so just tell us and they will understand, one said holding my hand and placed it on my knees
“Please, please don’t do this! I shouted and he landed a hard hit on my palm and I screamed out.
My finger nails was on fire and they smiled at me,
“Is it sweet? One asked.
“Please I don’t have it, I said in between my teeth in pains but I got 6 more hits constantly on the same palm and I could not believe the sight of my hand.
I was not able to use my right hand to give it a little comfort because of how I was tied then I knew I was in one deep sht.
“Where is it! One fiercely shouted and I looked at him with my teeth shaking.

After my boss gave me the briefcase, I saw myself driving to Patricia house and I knocked on her door. She ignorantly opened up and was shocked to see me,
“Patricia, I slowly said but she attempted to lock the door back which I blocked it and pushed my way in.
“Get out now before I’ll scream my head off! Patricia shouted as I closed the door behind.
“I’m sorry please help me out. We’re twins right? I asked.
‘My twin is dead, she replied and I went on my knees.
“I’m sorry, I know there’s nothing I’ll say now that will make up for all the hurts I’ve caused you and our family, please forgive me, I cried begging her.
It was not easy for her to listen to me and I knew it won’t take few hours to do that either. I showed her the briefcase and told her to help me keep it and that I’ll pick it tomorrow to go to the bank.
“What! Did you just show up from no where to implicate me or something? What are you planning now? She asked.
“No Patricia don’t say that, I can swear my boss gave me this but with Loveth…… “Don’t call that name here! She shouted.
“Sorry, I can’t keep the money with her at home. Please I promise I’ll pick it in the morning, help me just this once I beg you, I said.
“So you’re now scared of your angel and can’t trust her anymore right? This is very funny, Patricia said clapping her hands and I heaved.
“Pat please I’ll explain everything to you on a good day, but for now I just want this brief case safe, I said.
“You better don’t play any tricks on me, if you’re planning any evil against me its Papa ghost that will strike you, she said.
“I agree, I said.
I knew the guys will go for Patricia and I was so scared of exposing my sister. I don’t know how I will live with the thought that I brought more trouble to her peaceful life and I wished I took the money elsewhere.
The guys left me and promised to be back while I cried like a baby all alone. I was not thinking about myself but my Sister,
“How long will I endure this t®rture? Was what I could not tell.
For two good days I was in constant t®rture and my two hands were broken with my left leg. I was bIeeding seriously and they were ready to kll me if I don’t speak up and they meant it.
My eyes and lips were swollen and the next t®rture was to use electric on me,
“You wan die for person money ba? Don’t worry we go help you, one said very early in the morning and I died with fear.
“Patricia, its Patricia please, I managed to say.
“You say who? One asked.
“My sister, I left it with her, i replied and cried bitterly and they tapped me on my cheeks smiling.

PATRICIA POV
Patrick didn’t return as he promised and I was so scared with such an amount of money in my House. The area I parked in to was not safe like the former and robbers do visit us now and then, and here is Patrick keeping such a money with me.
The set day he was to come for it passed and I had to tell Frank about it because I could not bear with the sleepless night I was having,
“Why did you accept such a thing in the first place when you can simply say no? What if its stolen and you get implicated? Frank asked and I scratched my head.
“No Frank he can’t do that to me, I replied.
“Patrick can and why not? That’s not our brother anymore, Frank angrily said.
“Bro what if something bad has happened? The money is not his but the organization and he told me the place he’s working. What if I return it back to the boss? I asked.
‘Pat o, its not that am not worried about you but you were the one who got yourself into this so fix this. I don’t want to involve myself because I don’t care, Frank replied.
“You’re leaving it for me now? Okay do you know where he stays? I asked.
“Why are you asking me that? He asked.
‘I know you do, please tell me na, I replied and he heaved and called it out for me.
“I’m not sure o but check it out, he said and I thanked him and left.
I knocked on the door when I arrived and Loveth opened up and was surprised to see me.
“What are you doing here? She asked.
“I am looking for Patrick and he stays here, so is he home? I asked.
‘No now leave, she replied and wanted closing the door but I dragged her back,
‘Stand here silly girl I am not done talking with you. I have an unfinished business with him and I want to talk to him, now where is he? I sternly replied.
“Does it look like he’s here? I said he’s not here and he’s not yet back, she replied.
“Back from where? I asked.
“Its None of your business, she replied and her phone began to ring. I saw the look on her Face when she saw who was calling and I guessed something was fishy,
“His phone is not reachable also why? I asked not as if I even tried to call.
“Stop bugging me will you! Patrick is not home yet, in fact he’s missing, she replied and I scoffed and laughed at bit.
‘But you’re not acting like he’s missing with all this makeup and everything, what did you do to him? I asked and she smiled.
“What do you think I did to your little boy and what can you do? She asked and I looked into her eye balls,
“He is still my twin, you may think you have him but girl we share the same blood and he always choose family. Haven’t you heard that bIood is thicker than water? Listen to me, if you dare hurt my brother, I’ll find you and I’ll make you pay for all the hurt you’ve caused to my family, I replied.
“Don’t be too sure about that, Loveth said and closed the door behind.

The next day I went to buy something at around 9pm when I felt someone was following me. The place was dark with no streetlights on and I increased my steps but three guys came out in front of me and blocked me,
“Who are you? I asked and looked back and saw the ones coming were together with them.
“Ssshhhh just follow us silently okay, one said and raised his shirt up to show me a gvn.
“help! I shouted but one covered my mouth and suddenly a bright torch was shone on us.
“Sht the vigilante! They shouted and took off pushing me down and the vigilante ran to me with torches.
“Are you okay? One asked helping me up.
“Yes thank you, I replied and took to my heels home and called Frank up.
“I have to leave this place please, come take me from here, I cried very scared.
“I knew this will happen. Let me ask my friend to lend me his car I’ll be coming, Frank said and dropped the call.
I embraced the brief case shivering looking at the door and when I heard a knock on the door I could not voice out until I heard Frank voice and I opened up for him,
‘They almost had me, I said crying on him
“Let’s go, Frank said taking the brief case and held my hand out to the car and drove off to the hotel.
“Why are we here? I asked when he stopped.
‘Are you still asking? If they know about you don’t you think I’ll be next? What did your brother do this time? Frank angrily replied and left the car.
It was in the room I told him I faced Loveth and I know something is wrong somewhere,
“You faced her? Do you know who that lady is and can you stand her? Frank asked.
“What do you want me to do? I think Patrick has a problem and I saw it in his eyes when he came to me, I replied.
‘Patrick can take care of himself. But first let him come get this money from us, Frank said.
“Bro you’re angry I understand, but what if Patrick is really in trouble? I asked.
“What prove do we have when we dont know the game that guy is playing on us? Besides what if the vigilante didn’t come out in time how would I have known you went to see Loveth and exchanged words with her if not now? Thank God mama left to the village because she can’t hear what is going on now, Frank said and I held his hand,
“We can find our brother right? That’s mama wish to see her son come back to her same way you returned to us.
Whatever that has happened Patrick is still our blood and if he’s in trouble please let’s help him out for the sake of our mother I beg you, I said and Frank looked at me and breathed out cleaning his face.
“Fine. What do you think we should do now? Frank asked and I smiled.
