“Are you okay?” Angelo asked again with his hands still on her shoulder.
Paige, Desiree and Carding were surprised seeing how worried Angelo was towards Sabrina, Cuz this is the first time they’d see him talking to Sabrina.
“Yes. Yes I’m ok” Sabrina said and stylishly shrank backwards.
“You sure?” He asked again worriedly, and Stacey’s throat dried, she could feel the painful lump in there.
Sabrina nods, and Angelo let go of her shoulder.
“I didn’t know you worry about Sabrina, Angelo” Paige said, while Carding looks at him.
“She’s my classmate, is enough reason for me to worry about her” Angelo said looking at Sabrina, Sabrina only looked at him once and looked somewhere else.
“The rain stopped already, We should go home” Desiree said, holding Paige’s hand.
“I’ll drop you off” Carding said.
Paige was about to reply a “YES”, but Desiree beats her to it.
“Don’t bother Carding, our neighborhood isn’t far from here, is just few steps away” Desiree said.
“Really?”
“Yes, is trekable, Right Paige” Desiree asked Paige.
“Uh… Yes” Paige muttered hoping she could go with Carding.
“Is that so, See you in school then” Carding said Paige nods her head, looking at Carding.
“What’re you waiting for Paige?” Desiree asked and Paige looks at her.
“Let’s go home”
“Sure” Paige said, she looks at Carding one more time, before waving Stacey and Sabrina goodbye and leaves with Desiree.
“Where do you live?” Angelo asked directing the question at Sabrina.
“Well I….
“We have work to do” Stacey said cutting Sabrina short.
“Work?” Angelo asked.
“Yes, and we clearly don’t need your service, Let’s go Sab” Stacey said and quickly leaves with Sabrina, Angelo kept looking at Sabrina.
Carding pats him and Angelo diverted his gaze to Carding.
“What was all that worries about?” Carding asked.
Angelo looks at him and only heaves a sigh.

Stacey’s eyes were glued on Angelo’s jacket that was still on Sabrina’s shoulders and she wish she could have it to herself.
She stopped walking and looks at Sabrina.
“Are you and Angelo close?” She asked.
“Of course not Stacey, we aren’t even friends” Sabrina answers.
“Then why was he worried about you earlier? Just one sneeze from you, and he was occupied with extremely worries for you”.
Sabrina sighs.
“I don’t know either Stacey, He’s my classmate but not once have he talked to me, he doesn’t even look my way, and that’s why I was so surprised when he talked to me earlier, asking me if I was okay” Sabrina said.
“Do you love him?” Stacey asked.
“No Stacey, I told you a thousand times that love isn’t for me, I have a lot in my plates, and I can’t possibly have the time for dating, and beside my best friend loves him, so I can’t fall for him even if his the only guy on earth”
“Really?” Stacey asked smiling.
“Yes Stacey, You have Angelo all to yourself, so don’t worry about the little drama he played ealier” Sabrina said and Stacey’s Joy knew no bounce.
“Can I have his jacket?” Stacey asked smiling.
“Jacket? Which Jacket? Sabrina asked confusingly.
“Angelo gave you his jacket ealier, Don’t tell me you have forgotten” Stacey said.
Sabrina looks at her shoulder and sees the huge jacket that was on her.
“Oh”
“Can I have it, I’ll give it to him tomorrow, since your job hunting tomorrow”.
“Alright” Sabrina and and gives the jacket to Stacey, Stacey giggles sniffing the jacket.
“His fragrance is just like strawberry… See you tomorrow Sab”
“I thought you said you be spending the night at my place”
“Sorry Sab, but change of plans, maybe next time, ok”
And Sabrina nods smiling.
“Goodnight Best friend” Stacey said and pecks her, Sabrina smiles.
“You too Stacey” She replied.
Stacey squeals and took to her heels.
“I wonder why he was so worried about me, Not once have we talked to each other, So why…. I shouldn’t think about it, Guess his just showing off” Sabrina said and continues walking.

THE CASTILLO’S HOUSE***
Paige enters the house, but couldn’t find her mom or brother.
“Where did they go? Are both still working?” She asked and looks at the time and it clocking towards 10.
“They should be at home by now, So where did they wander off to?” She asked no one.
“Looking for someone?” Someone said behind her.
Paige turns to look at the person, and sees her Dad standing a little distance from her, smiling.
“Dad!!!!!” Paige screams excitedly, and jumps on him.
Edward, being the name of her dad laughs
“Did you miss me that much”
“Just like how the star misses the sun… Dad” Paige whines hugging him again.
“I missed you so much too my princess” Edward said hugging her.
Paige might be a girl, but she’s more closer to her Dad than her mom, and is no doubt to say that she loves him more than Helena.
She always tells him everything going on in her life. Even when she had her first monthly flow, it was her dad who got to know about it first.
And everything she knows now was thought to her by her dad, the only thing she didn’t inherit from him was Edward’s brain.

“Hmmmmm, As always your barbecue are always the best” Paige said munching the barbecued made by her Dad.
Edward was a fisherman and also grill master.
“You love it?”
“If any word can replace the word LOVE, then that’s what I’ll use to describe it…. So yummy” Paige said hitting her hand on the table, Edward smiles.
“You still have the habit of hitting the table anytime your eating”
“There’re some habits that can never leave you Dad and mine is hitting the table while eating, it’s shows how much I love the food”
“You are ¢razy” Edward said and Paige giggles.
“So how’s your new school? Your mom said your schooling in Empire High, under a scholarship. I was astonished when she told me cuz I know my daughter to be a dullard, So what magic did you use this time, your cheating skills, right?”
“Of course not dad, I’ll have been caught if I did that, Someone helped me” Paige said.
“Who?”
“His name is Carding Wendell, he’s my friend” Paige said, and thinking about Carding made her blush.
“Seems like his more than a friend to you”
“Huh?”
“Your in love with him, right?” Edward asked and Paige looks at him with surprised.
“How did you know?”

“Only a slow witted person won’t know, and besides I know you so well, so is easy to tell what you feel deep inside”
Paige smiles.
“Your right dad, I’m in love with Carding, I don’t know how it started but I do know I love him”.
“Guess sooner or later, I’ll have to share my priceless jewelry with someone”
“And why will you share me with someone else?” Paige asked.

“Dad!. I’m just 18, Why talk about marriage when I haven’t started dating”
“But is a gradual process”
“And that process is going to take a long while to come… And beside your still my number 1” Paige said.

Paige giggles and continues munching on the barbecue, shaking her head and hitting the table.
Edward looks at her and let out a sad smile.
