CHAPTER 19
DELOITTE CONGLOMERATE***
“Were you in charge in cleaning my office today?” Velvet asked Greg.
“Yes ma’am” Greg answers.
And Velvet spilled the coffee she was holding on Greg.
“Ma’am!”
“Maybe that’s going to wake you up from your clumsiness, Your been pay and yet you can’t even do the tiniest task given to you!!” Velvet yells at him.
“What wrong did I do ma’am, Your office is clean and well tidy” Greg said.
“Yes, but you made the mistake of moving my pen from where it was to another direction” Velvet said.
“Is that why you spilled coffee on me simply because I moved your pen from it’s position?” Greg asked with unbelievable eyes.
“Yes, you ain’t allowed to touch my things, just do your Job quietly and leave without touching any of my stuffs, if this repeats itself again, am going to file a complain on you, Understood?”
Greg sighs.
“Fine I won’t”
“The door is already opened, so get your useless self out from my office” Velvet said.
Greg crimps his fingers before leaving the office.
“What happened to you Greg?” His friend Jace asked.
“Whose that little witch in there?” Greg asked pointing at velvet’s office.
“That’s Ma Velvet, She was newly appointed as the directing manager of this company… I heard she’s from China, and she hates it when people touch her stuffs” Jace said.
“That’s so lame, how can she pour coffee on me simply because I move her pen to another direction” Greg said.
“Your lucky she poured coffee on you, rumors had it that she once send someone to the hospital simple because he helped her pick up her bag that landed on the floor”
“Then I think she’s a psychopath, she really needs to be admitted in a psychiatric hospital… She’s lucky she has a high position here, else I’ll have shown her that ¢raziness runs in my family” Greg said, and Jace laughs.
“When is your girlfriend coming back from Texas? isn’t she spending too much time there?” Jace asked.
Greg looks at Nina’s picture in his phone and smiles.
“She has so much work to do there, but she’ll be back soon” Greg said caressing Nina’s picture.

Odessa smiles as she walks around the collections of brands of hangbags like Dior, Channels, Gucci, Celine, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Rolex and so many more.
“I wonder which of these I should get for her” Odessa said looking at the different kinds of expensive bags.
The last time Paige visited their house, she wasn’t satisfied with the handbag was having.
She has tons of it in her wardrobe, some of which she hasn’t touched, but because she happens to be the girl her son likes, she decided to get a new one for her.
“My son is slow witted to be able to do this, So am going to do it for him, that’s how much I love him” Odessa said smiling.
“Have any of the bags caught your taste?” One of the attendance asked.
Odessa looks at her and smiles.
“I’m getting a bag for my daughter in-law, but it’s seems I like everything… You know what, just give me one of each of the brands of these handbags” Odessa said smiling.
“You mean you want a handbag from each of the brands?… But we have a lot of brands of bags” The attendance said.
“I know, I want a bag from each of the brands…. My daughter in-law deserves the best” Odessa said smiling.

BACK IN SCHOOL***
“Do you have any plans after school?” Desiree asked.
“I have nothing to do at home” Paige said.
“I’m Free, no part time jobs today” Stacey said smiling.
“What about you Sabrina?”. Desiree asked.
“I have to pick up my brother from school, and I’m planning on looking for an extra Job” Sabrina said.
“Aren’t you over working yourself?” Paige asked.
“I have to provide for my brother Paige… My dad… I won’t be available” Sabrina said.
“Too bad, I wanted us to go to the karaoke to have fun” Desiree said.
“She’s going to go with us” Stacey said.
“Stacey I…”
“Don’t worry about your brother, I’ll beg my mom to pick him up, and looking for a job… Let’s leave it for another day” Stacey said.
“But….”
“There’s no but in this Sab, No matter what you do, the problem of this world won’t end, so for once in your life Sab, try to have fun” Stacey said, and Sabrina sighs.
“So are you in?” Paige asked.
And Sabrina nods, the girls squealed excitedly.
Stacey looks at Angelo, who was sitting with Carding and Dylan and face Paige.
“Paige you should invite the CAD” She said smiling.
“Why are you asking me to do that?” Paige asked.
“Your the only among us whose close to the CAD, I’m they won’t decline if you ask them to join us” Stacey said.
“And why do you want them to join us, it’ll have been fun if it was all girls” Desiree said.
“She has a huge crush on Angelo, or should I say, she’s in love with him” Sabrina said.
“Aah, so you have been bitten by the so-called love bug… Congratulations on those falling in love, I’m not one of them” Desiree said shoving a portion of pizza inside her mouth.
Paige looks at Carding and smiles.
“Can you tell them to join us?” Stacey asked blinking.
“Alright I’ll” Paige said and went over to the CAD’S table.
“Hi Guys” she said smiling.
“Paige” Angelo and Dylan called her, while Carding looks at her.
“We’re going to the karaoke after school, mind to join”.
“Sure I’m in” Angelo said.
“Same here” Carding said, and his sweet voice sent butterflies to Paige’s stomach.
“What about you Dylan?” Paige asked using one eye to look at Carding.
“Sorry Paige, but I have night classes to attend” Dylan said.
“Night classes?”
“Yeah, I’m taking medicine and surgery as a major after High School, so I’m taking night classes to be able to fit in for the course….. My parent’s wishes though”
“Sorry about that Dylan”.
“Is fine Paige, you Guys can have fun without me” Dylan said.
Paige sighs.

8PM=KARAOKE
Their screams could loudly be heard as they sing alongside with the song being shown on the screen.
They were wearing funny hairbands like cat, rabbit, monkey and Dog hairbands.
“I scored 100!!!” Paige screams jumping, Carding looks at her and smile.
“Let’s go one more round, we should play blackpink song” Stacey said.
“What’s blackpink?” Paige asked.
“Is a Korea girl group, let’s go for PINK VENOM, is a one of their comeback song” Desiree said.
“I scored 100” Desiree, Sabrina and Stacey screams excitedly.
Paige threw her microphone away.
“This is cheating, how can you put a song that I don’t know what their saying, I scored Zero” Paige said pouting and the girls laughed at her.
“Let’s all sing what Paige likes” Carding said and winks at her, Paige smiles widely.
“Yes we should do what I like” Paige said feeling so happy, Carding smiles.

After singing to their heart content, they came out to find out it has been raining outside.
“Wow, can’t believe summer breaks are over” Angelo said and the rest nods.
Stacey stylishly snuggle closer to him.
“I’m so cold” Stacey said shivering.
Angelo looks at her, but didn’t say a word to her.
Sabrina sneeze all of a sudden, and Angelo quickly rush to her taking off the jacket he was wearing, and wrapped it around her.
“Are you all right?” He asked with so much worry.
“Yes I’m” Sabrina said looking at him with so much surprised.
Stacey crimps her fingers seeing how Angelo’s hands were on Sabrina’s shoulders, and his eyes filled with worry for Sabrina.
