Derek’s POV
Why is everything so silent? they’re talking very close yet it seems far….June…..why is she crying?oh no she’s bleeding come here let me tend to your wound…
He tried to touch her but his hands went through her body like smoke…and he’s fizzing like hes about to disappear.
What is going on?why am I fading?….if I try to touch anyone I’ll disappear forever…is that it?……. Am I dead?

Kyle and June’s friends Helen,Faye and Rachel rushed inside the hospital.

Shasha pounced on her pulling her hair and cursing at her.

Derek went back into the ICU and he saw the doctor trying his best to save him and some nurse’s tending to Alex…..but he’s awake already though not in his right state of mind.
Alex look over to Derek’s bed and tears trickle down his face…..he son and “I’m sorry…..I’m sorry please forgive me….I’m such a bad friend….you trusted me with everything in your life……please… forgive…for…give me.
Police came i to the hospital for an arrest warrant for Amanda….
Amanda:No no I’ll never leave untill I see Alex…please don’t …don’t take me away

They slip the handcuffs on her wrist but she keep fighting them off.
They got to the car and she ran to escape

Six(06) Months later.
The bells clinking and hymn playing….
June and Alex were seen standing in front of a grave….. June wiped her tears and dropped her flower…. likewise Alex….he removed his shade and dropped his flower as well.
On the grave is an inscription “Amanda Kim”

Alex:Thank you…..June
June:She’s too young for what she went through….I’m sorry for the loss…..she was pregnant
Alex:Yeah…she never told me anything…..no wonder…why……uh…she could have informed me..
June:Well….sorry .
(She sigh and she adjust her glass)

HOSPITAL
June entered a room in the hospital and on the bed is Derek…..still in coma….
June sat beside him and hold his hand as she caress it….she put the pillow on her lap.
June:It’s been 6 months already…..when will you wake up? I’m not happy without you….I’m alone….I miss your troubles…your jokes and….your romantic talk…please…come back to me….
She continued crying and she started a song
“My love so precious….my life so precious….my heartbeat.(she stopped to wipe her tears…) My heart’s beating right?tell me you’re right there…. give me a signal and I’ll hold on forever…..Come back to me….come back to me….
She sang this till she fell asleep….but the tears formed in her eyes before she closed them.. trickle down and fell on Derek’s eye.
Derek felt the hot tears and he opened his eyes…. though it entered his eyes and being salty,it stings his eyes that was closed for 6 months….he flinched and closed them back….then he opened it again…..his vision was blur and he saw someone sleeping beside him….he knew it’s June and he noticed her belly being big.
June noticed strange movements from Derek and she sprang up…..her eyes are glued to him making sure he’s not hallucinating….
June:D….Derek?
Derek:Hold on…..hope you’re not pregnant?your belly…….
June:You’re awake…
Derek: I’ve not done anything……(still looking at her belly)
June embrace him and the pillow fell…Derek heaved sigh of relief and he smiled at her.
June called the whole family that he’s awake and within 10 minutes…they’re there storming around him already
Mrs Harshell:You cruel jerk…how could you sleep for so long…I’ve….missed you
Mr Harshell: Wife don’t cry okay he’s okay now
Mrs mark:Wow he look more handsome now..
They were talking until the doctor came inside to send all of them out that he need to rest for now that he just woke up after a long time.
Kyle called Alex on phone and he was so excited
Kyle:Yo buddy so when you coming?
Alex:I’m sorry….Kyle I I can’t face him…. showing up in front of him again will be as if I have no shame.
Kyle:Yeah cool but you guys really need to talk…..you can’t avoid him forever

Harshell’s Mansion
Derek is a little bit okay and June was feeding him when Kyle arrived with June’s friends.

Derek dropped the food with June and he move closer to her.

Derek:She keep saying she has plan for everything…..and not on the sly I’m fed up…

Kyle:Uhm….Alex is leaving tomorrow….he’s going back to Korea.
Derek:Really?(he pick up his spoon) safe journey to him…

Derek:I burned it…i didn’t even unwrap it

June:Derek……In friendship…it’s not about what you do…but why you did it. Fine he was under a misconception……..it’s not about his betrayal but his ego. He was in pain but couldn’t talk it out with you…when he wanted to let it out….it exploded…..also because Amanda was supporting him.
Helen:I pity that young girl.may her soul rest in peace.
Faye:Alex must be really broken….he lost his first love Sarah….then Amanda and his unborn baby.

Derek continue his meal and Kyle made a short whistle. The maids in Harshell’s household came out spreading flowers everywhere and song started playing

Faye screamed with Joy and June switch on the lights back.

Kyle’s face beaming with exceeding happiness,he draw Faye close and kissed her.
He then went on his knees and slipped the ring into her finger.
Rachel:Wow…. so good for you….so when are you introducing her to your parents?
Kyle:I have informed my parents already….they like her…..I’m taking her home next week

Derek:Well I guess I’m still a bad planner

Next morning
The family have already packed their luggages for the honeymoon and Kyle joined them with Faye.
Kyle:Well we came to escort you
Derek:Nice one….get in June.
They were laughing and chatting in the car but Derek made no expression….he’s lost in thought thinking about Alex all through.
Derek:When is Alex’s flight?
Kyle:Uh?…uhm in 10 minutes
Derek:What?why so early
Kyle:Are you fucking with me?why did you have to be so loud?
Derek:Turn the car around….to the airport

Luckily they got to the airport on time and he saw Alex…he call unto him and he turn to look at him.
He was surprised to see Derek….he didn’t know when tears escaped from his eyes.
Derek:You jerk….you’re running away?do you think running away will solve everything?you’re leaving with pain in your heart.
Alex:I deserve it Derek….I deserve it.im sorry I just couldn’t do it… facing you again.
Derek:I don’t want talk about what happened between us….what’s gone is gone already….the past will remain to be a past…but for now and tomorrow….I still need you.
Alex:(he wipe the drop of tears about to escape)……why are you like this Derek….why can’t you resent me?

He embrace Derek and Derek accept the apology.
He is not leaving anymore and they decided to return home together but their car broke down on the way.
It’s already late in the evening and the network is not favouring them.
Fortunately a school was going for Camping and they saw them by the roadside. They requested for help and they followed them to their camping site.
They made bonfire and the students were enjoying themselves.
June:I bet you even had this experience during your high school days..Derek
Alex:Ahaah….of course we did….. it’s always fun to go camping with school mates.
Derek moved closer to June and whispered some things to her.
Derek:Can I see you for a sec?
June:What? where?..
Derek: Follow me there’s a mountain over there
June:What are we gonna do on a mountain also there’s no light there..what if we come across dangerous animals?
Derek:It’s a camping site…it’s safe
June:Get that thought off your mind if that’s what you’re thinking.

Derek:I’m okay with anywhere though…in the olden days we lived in the forest.
June:But this is the 21st century…also our forefathers lived in the forest not you okay?don’t say “We”.
Derek was sad about June turning him down and the next day they found help to the city and returned to their home.
Due to work and June going to school they didn’t get chance with each other….
It’s June’s final day in college. Everyone was so happy and they threw a party for her at the Mark’s house.
June went to where Derek was sitting and she whispered something to his ears..he look so happy and they went to the car Immediately….they went to their home.
Derek:Helen is right….what’s with traveling for honeymoon when the purpose is the same…..had I known earlier….
June:Shhhhhh? you’re wasting time already.
Derek put on his bad boy’s face and he carried June making her sit on his General as he sit on the couch.
Derek brushed his lips against her softly making her lips waver and demanding for more then he caress her face and draw it in for a deep kiss……..
With June sitting on him,they moved to the bed and he slowly unbuttoned his shirt while June tuck the strands of hair blocking her face away for easy access .
Derek pressed a remote and the lights went off.
