It’s Monday morning
The alarm rang beside June it’s 5:00am,being used to her daily life of distributing newspaper early in the morning before going to school.
She jump out of bed and start wearing her shoe and running to the bathroom to brush her teeth.
She was brought back with the look on the house, spacious bathroom, glamorous bathtub ? and the multicolored table lamp beside her bathroom
June:Awww oh I’ve totally forgotten I can’t work anymore…I’m now right I guess.
She went back to sleep
Suddenly Mr Mark’s voice can be heard from outside which call the attention of the whole family even June fell off the bed.
They all rushed out only to see Mr mark holding the watering can and stepping backward obviously running from someone
Mrs Davis: Brother-in-law what is it?
Mr Mark:Ggggggghhh ghost…no a thief thief
They look at the direction where he’s pointing at and they saw a figure approaching from the dark part of the compound.
It’s Felix,he came back home after hearing about their fortune
Felix:Daddyyyyyyy(he cry out)
Felix ran to Mr mark, he fell on his knees and start crying heavily
Shasha:The prodigal son is back
Mr Mark:Get off me..you Idiot of a son.. get off me
Felix:Father please I know I’m wrong I was tricked please forgive me
He opened his whole mouth crying like a baby
Mrs Davis:Are you sorry?I didn’t see any tears on your face
Felix:Please father….oh oh.. June my sweet little princess I know they will listen to you please beg them..please
June:I’m out of here i don’t wanna be late for lectures
Felix ran to June and held her hands
Felix:June i explained to you right?you know I was duped that was why you asked me to run away…right?(he winked at her)
June mouthed a “Are you crazy” to him and he mouthed back “Just this once,this once please
June scratch her head and cover up for him
June:Uh…uhm.. actually father…he was tricked and he had no choice as he was scared
Mrs mark arrived at the scene with water hose and she start beating him with it.
“You this bad son..how could you do this to your parents?how could you? You have no heart”
“Beat me mom…please hit me as much as you want just forgive me please”
Mrs Davis: Shasha the day is clearing already go and prepare for school
Shasha:Yes mom
Mrs Davis and June left them for their family problem to take their bath
It’s 7:09 and everyone is ready.
Mrs Davis now owns a jewelries shop and Mrs Mark is getting dressed for her shopping mall.
Mr mark is a car dealer.
Shasha ate few from her breakfast and mrs Davis prepared another pack for her.
Shasha:Mom no I can’t take this along. I’ll eat at the school cafeteria… I’ll be given special treatment since we’re now rich
June:Don’t take your phone to school..mom she’s gonna show off her wealthy status
Shasha:Mom no Please
Mrs Davis:Shasha…
Shasha:Mom oh my gosh I’m late already…bye see you later
June:Let me drop you on the way I’m going to school as well
Shasha:No sis I don’t trust you
Shasha ran out of the house and a driver opened the door for her before driving out of the compound
June:Naughty girl
Felix came to the sitting room smiling broadly and munching on snacks
Felix:Wowwww June you’re lady luck I always knew it
Mrs mark:Go and freshen up and let go to the mall…you look like a begger you need new clothes
Felix:Really?thanks Mom
Mr Mark:Where have you been?that you couldn’t get good clothes?
Felix:Mom I was duped again
June:See see see going gambling again?you look exactly like your luck…where’s the credit card you stole?
Felix: Credit card?…I lost it
June:Liar
June start approaching him with a bread ? knife.
Felix:Calm down June for real after withdrawing from it twice I lost it…I’m sorry
June:Jerk
June’s phone beep and a message appeared
?Mrs Harshell
?A car is waiting for you this is your time to help please.
June sigh and she went to the room to wear her shoe.
She went out and truly a car was waiting for her
Driver: Good morning miss
June:Uhm morning..you don’t have to be formal with me please
June entered and they drove out of the compound.
The car arrived at Harshell’s Mansion and June got down she glance over the surrounding before trying to calm herself for the terror that lives in the house.
June entered and Mrs Harshell welcome her with a smile before giving her a hug
Mrs Harshell:Good morning pretty
June:Good morning ma’am…how was your night?
Mrs Harshell:it was peaceful…. welcome
Mrs Harshell made her seat and she faced her
“what time is your lecture?
June: “8:00 today
Mrs Harshell:That’s great
Mrs Harshell snap her finger and Mrs Harshell’s secretary came in with cool wedding dresses hanged up the rack.
Mrs Harshell:These are the sample not the real clothes so you’re gonna try them on and after that,Derek will take you to school.
Derek came out of his room wearing a loose top and pant.
Derek:Here comes my bride to be
Mrs Harshell smiled and Pat June’s back.
June’s POV
your bride? Only God knows what he’s up to again..that smile looks dangerous
Derek’s POV
Just wait and see …I’m gonna treat you like how hunters tame their prey.
I’ll draw you closer and impress you before I get my revenge on you.
Derek:Mother can I check out the wedding dresses as well?
Mrs Harshell:Sure you both should follow me to the hall.
June tried different wedding gown on but Derek keep saying next and she’s getting tired.
She wore the last one and she pack her hair since she’s sweating already.
Mrs Harshell:Oh my goodness you look like a princess
June:Thanks ma’am
Mrs Harshell:Derek…do you love it?
Derek:Yeah.
And he went out.
Mrs Harshell:Look at him blushing… Go and change to your dress my dear he will take you to school.
Derek came out 5 minutes later looking all hot and cool. He opened the car door for June and they played their drama till they were out of sight.
Derek:So…you wanna be a dentist right?…hmm where will you like to go for your honeymoon?
June:I Know you don’t like me..stop the drama please
Derek smirk and he removed his sunglass
Derek:Good to know you’re smart…now remove that weird glass please it’s not up to my standard…you look foolish
June:I know I’m not that smart nor am I your taste but please let me know if you really want the wedding or not
Derek:If i want the wedding or not is not up to me and you know that..and concerning the feeling aspect…’first impression last longer’ I don’t like you at all
June:You know very well that you were wrong that day and me defending myself is considered to be wrong?
Derek:Get out of my car
June:What?
Derek:Get out of my car now
June opened the door and she closed it back angrily.Derek drove away with dust everywhere.
June:if not for my family you think you’re my dream guy?
She was about to cross the road when a car almost hit her if not that she was careful.
The car stopped and threw a letter to her face before driving away
June picked the letter and she opened it
?Marry him and die
?Family secret..run for your life.
The letter was written with red ink.
June was scared and her heart almost jumped out of her chest
Just then that Alex parked beside her
Alex:Want a ride?
June:No thanks
Alex:Common I Know you don’t trust me but at least I’m better than your husband to be
June:Get lost okay?
Alex increase the speed and he crossed her way
June:What do you want?
Alex:I’m a friend I wanna help…with your friend’s issue…Faye and Kyle
