FARIDA
PART 66
As he entered he stood looking at her. She still had on her outfit.
“What happened? Did something happen?”
“I miss you. Seeing you today made me realise how much”
Farida smiled. He expected a cocky response but instead she replied, “I missed you too”
Wale walked up to her and hugged her really tight. He didn’t want to let her go. He then kissed her. Gently at first and then it became intense. He wanted to take it easy with her but she didn’t seem interested in that by her response. She helped take off his tee shirt and while he fumbled with his trousers. She sat on the bed and took off her sneakers. By then Wale was only in his boxers. He helped her undress while k!ssing her. She always liked to bath before and after but now she really didn’t care. They were both naked on the bed. There was a knock on the door. They ignored it hoping the person will go away but it became persistent. Farida looked through the peephole and saw it was Monica. “Who is it” she asked.
“It’s me”
“Can you come back later? I’m in the middle of something”
“Ok, I’m going for a walk within the premises. Join me when you are through. I will be sitting by the pool”
“Ok”
She joined Wale back on the bed. It was the best time both of them had ever had together. They were at it all night. The bathroom wasn’t spared also.
In the morning, Farida woke him up. She had an awesome time. She would reminisce on this for a long time. She didn’t want Monica to know what happened last night. She had teased her about Wale and she said she should forget it. If she found out she gave in so easily, she wouldn’t allow it rest and she would want details.
Monica would come for her soon. Farida appealed to Wale to leave but he refused to leave without taking another shot at it. Farida really wanted him to leave but it would be a waste to leave the already awakened giant without conquering it. For the first time, she took the lead which was surprising to Wale. As he attempted to protest, she shut him up as he took a deep breath while she worked her magic. The things Farida did drove him crazy; he had never had such sensation before. He had been missing out. He couldn’t control himself anymore when she mounted him. She straffed him with such expertise that he did not know when he let out loud moans and then an intense grunt when he eventually came.
Farida wanted to take a shower but Wale wouldn’t let her go. He was just staring at her as he held her down on the bed. After a while she reminded him Monica would come soon so they took a shower together. He would have loved to have another go but he was drained. He k!ssed Farida intensely and told her he loved her before he left. Farida knew she had him where she wanted him; desiring her again. Iya Agba needs to get the herbs for her before she goes.
On his way to his hotel, he thought about his experience with Farida. This morning made him realise why Sam didn’t want to let her go. It wasn’t just what she did but the confidence in which she did it. It was obvious she did it to please him because he didn’t hear her “ringtone” from the night before. There was no way he wouldn’t see her again. He kept thinking about Farida. If Sam knew she was back, he would come for her. He wanted to protect her; Sam can never have her again. She’s his.
Farida got ready before Monica. As she entered Monica’s room, Monica looked at her suspiciously. Farida wondered what was wrong but Monica just smiled and didn’t say anything. As they went outside to leave, Monica didn’t see the car she saw yesterday. They entered the car and began their journey to Abuja. They were to leave on Monday for UK. They were expecting some packages for their business which they needed to sort out and packaged for their trip.
Monica observed Farida was chatting on her phone. This hasn’t happened in a long time. She watched her smile to herself as she chatted. She knew something was up but wanted Farida to bask in the moment for now.
They received their package and spent most of the day inspecting and preparing them for the journey. It took hours but by 3:00pm they were done. Farida laid on the bed wanting to close her eyes when her phone rang. She picked it up and dismissed the caller. Monica was curious.
“Who was that?”
“No one of interest”
“Wale?”
“What do you want to say?”
“It is none of my business. What does he want?”
“He wants to take us out”
‘He doesn’t want to take us out; he wants to take you out”
“He said both of us”
“I am too tired to go anywhere, both of you should go”
“I am not going if you are not. Let’s have drinks in the hotel”
“Farida, let him come”
Wale came to the hotel. He was just coming in from Kaduna. He came down because of Farida. He got up to their suite. Monica was in her room on a call with Hugh. She signaled to them to go ahead without her. Wale left with Farida. He planned they would go over to his house but Farida declined. She knew by now Sam would have known she was around and would be trailing her or Wale. She didn’t want that. Wale understood. He wanted to rent a room in the hotel but Farida didn’t want a situation Monica would come looking for her and she can’t find her.
“I want to be with you again. She knows we have s*x. Why are you doing this?”
“Is it because of the s*x you came to see me?”
“I’ve missed you. I want to be with you. I will get a room for us to be together even if it is for an hour”
“Wale, I would have loved to but …”
“But what? Forget about Monica, let us spend time together”
“Ok, but I will not take the lead. We are going back to status quo”
“Why? It’s part of it now. I can’t stop thinking about it”
“Well, it is not happening again. Actually, I don’t think we should have sex again. I am still legally married”
“I apologise for my actions and all I said. You know I have always desired you. Farida jo, let me get the room and we can spend the night together again. I want to wake up with you beside me. Please, you will be doing me a big favour”
They got the room. Farida felt uncomfortable sneaking around with Wale although it was also fun. She missed him if not more than he missed her. She could be herself with Wale. She could act all crazy with him and he would enjoy it. She went back to her room, had a shower and told Monica she was going out with Wale. She wove her off.
In the room, Wale waited for her. He had also undressed and had a shower. When she came in, they were at it immediately. It went on for some time. Monica called Farida to inform her she had gone to bed. Farida then realized it was 10pm. She was acting all slutty with Wale and he was enjoying every moment. He begged her to take the lead. He asked her to show her skills, no more hiding. She was reluctant. He promised her he wouldn’t take advantage of it and she will always be priority like before. Farida knew he would be hooked and he will keep asking for it once she uses the herbs on him. She decided not to use it anymore. Her skills had been perfected over time.
She stood up to leave at midnight but Wale wouldn’t let her leave. They were both exhausted but he wanted her to spend the night with him again. He just wanted to be with her. She spent the night with him. The next morning, she snuck out of bed, dressed up and left the room. She got back into her room, took a bath and then went back to bed. Monica woke her up at about 9am.
“Madam, you have a visitor”
“Who is that?” Farida asked.
“It’s Wale. I am going down for breakfast. You can join me there”
“Ok”
“Come in, she in here”
Wale came in to see her. He wasn’t happy when he woke up and she was gone. They hadn’t talked yet about how things would be. He realized it wasn’t s*x, he wanted to be with her in everyway. He knew she would be a huge success in whatever she did. He wanted to spend more time with her so they could talk. He wanted her perspective on certain plans he had.
Farida stood up from the bed and asked that they sit in the parlour. Wale followed her there. She was acting all formal; he one would believe how cr@zy she was last night. When they sat down, he opened the conversation.
“Why did you leave?”
“I didn’t want Monica to know I slept out”
“Why are you hiding it from her?”
“I love my privacy. I like to keep it that way”
He moved close to her and k!ssed her. After a minute, she stopped him. She didn’t want any surprises.
“I am leaving for Kaduna. I wanted us to talk before I go”
“Let’s talk about us first”
“Wale there is nothing to talk about. We are jut two former lovers who haven’t had s*x in a long while seeing each other and it happened. There is nothing to discuss”
“Is that how you feel? Is there no connection anymore?”
“Wale, we were horny and had s*x. There is nothing more to it”
“You are cold”
“Our situation hasn’t changed. Sam is still very much in the picture. Your two years ultimatum isn’t possible, the bigamy and s*xual a$sault case is now a criminal case and the judgement will be used to dissolve the marriage. Do you know how long that will take? They have been stalling since. You can’t be with me while I am still married; I understand. So, it best you are seen as a principled man. I can’t come to your house and you can’t come to mine. Whenever we run into each other and we still have the chemistry, we can explore. The only pre-arranged outing we can have would be outside the two countries we are in. You will make all the arrangements and ensure my safety. No-one must know we are seeing each other. No phone calls, no chats, nothing. Only emails when it is that time and I will let you know if I am available. I will give you my new email address. Is this ok by you?”
“It is not. I think you are punishing me. I was angry with you that’s why I gave the ultimatum. It was better the divorce was finalized so if Sam attempts such with you again, there would be a case against him. I had to push you to do the needful. It didn’t stop me from loving you; I love you with my whole being. We are still discovering ourselves. These past two days, I have had the best s*xual experience ever. I can’t give that up. I am ready for Sam to do his w0rst”
“He threatened to kill Morenike if I continue with you” Farida informed him quietly.
Wale was shocked. Kill his daughter? Was Sam mad? Because of a woman he will commit murder of a child? Sam was mad. Even with this information, he was not ready to let go of Farida.
“He won’t do it. He won’t dare do it”
“That was why I wanted Morenike to stay with me. If she was in Nigeria where crime perpetrated by the rich can be covered up, he will carry out his threat. Let’s do it this way. We will have to cope until Sam is out of the picture”
Wale realized that Sam was actually a stumbling block to his relationship with Farida. There was no way he was going to give her up; nothing would make him give her up. But, there was wisdom in what she said. He agreed with her.
Wale discussed a major issue with her. His brothers had run the filling station arm of the oil business almost to the ground in less than two years. His father had sent all of them packing from the business. “He called for a family meeting and told them he was giving me shares in the company for me to come back and revive it in two years. If I don’t revive it, he will withdraw the shares. They all agreed. my mother said I should come for cleansing before I agree but I ignored her message. I told my dad I have jobs at hand and I was also considering making enough money and then relocating to stay with my family. He asked me to revive the place and he will give me N1billion to relocate and be with you. I didn’t know about the case. What do you think? Should I take the deal?’
“It is a good deal but I have an issue, it is competing with what you are doing right now with Alhaji. Before you take any step, talk to Alhaji first. Let him know you can still work for him while doing this work. There should be a written agreement signed between you and your dad’s company. They can’t go back on the N1billion. In addition, you can work as a consultant to review the company every quarter. Recall your old trustworthy staff, promote them and set them to work. I know you can do it. Creo en ti”
“What does that mean?”
“I believe in you”
“You speak Spanish?”
“I learnt how to. And French. Soon, I will start with Arabic”
“Who are you?”
“I am Farida. I have rediscovered myself and I am beginning to know my worth. Wale, you are lucky you knew what you wanted right from the beginning; I didn’t. I fell for the wrong guy and my life became a nightmare. I lost the guy I loved. I couldn’t continue to wallow in self-pity; I decided to get busy and I did. Our Fashion business is just one, I am doing so many other things; I have no dull moment. I am redoing the barn for my office and studio. I want to learn photography. I am waiting for approval from the council to extend the barn. Our piece has to be in all the stores in the Uk by the middle of next year, and then all over Europe two years after. We have our forecast and projections. I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to do and achieve it. Look at me. I am a teacher, a model, an analyst and also a business woman. I want to add more to it. My mind is busy and I don’t feel empty anymore”
“Where do I fit into now?”
“You are my secret lover”
“Only that?”
“For now”
“Farida, do you still love me?”
‘I do. You are still my best friend and lover. But I would like us to remain this way until the coast is clear for our sake and the sake of our children”
“Can I ask a question and you will answer honestly?”
“Go ahead”
“Is there someone else? The only time a woman doesn’t want to expose her relationship is if she has other lovers. Have you found someone in UK?”
Farida looked at Wale. She had never known him to be insecure. Why would he be asking her about lovers; he had never done that before. This was Sam all over again. “Wale, I don’t have a lover or need one. Please”
“So how do you cope? It’s been tough for me. I tried dating but they were not you so I stopped. How do you cope?”
“I achieve. I focus on improving myself everyday. What do you want me to do? I can’t be with anyone I don’t love and right now it’s just you. Don’t ever thing I have someone else”
Wale wasn’t satisfied. This new Farida frightened him. She drove him cr@zy just looking at her. But the main problem was her confidence. She spoke so boldly without fear. She spoke as though she didn’t care if he walked out on her. He had to be sure she was with him and no one. He couldn’t bear to imagine her with anyone. The imagination of Sam r@ping Farida had been wiped out and replaced with Farida making love to Sam. How could he have been enjoying all this? He didn’t deserve it.
Immediately Wale left Farida, he went to see Alhaji. they spoke at length and he told him what his family had proposed. Alhaji told him he also planned he would manage the mega stations for him. He advised him his duty lies with the family so he would allow he go back to the family business but he should know there is an opening whenever he wants to come back. He had eight more mega stations to build. He assured Alhaji they will be delivered successfully even if he goes back to the family business.
He discussed with his father next. He told him Alhaji had given his blessings. He insisted that the company signs a contract with him for the two years and all his brothers have to append their signatures. Then he will work as a consultant to review their performance. His brothers needed to be onboard to understudy him so that when he leaves, they can take over.
“I want you to know that I am leaving the company to you. If I leave it to them, they will ruin it. You will be the chairman of the company. You will have my shares in addition to the ones I am giving you; you will have controlling shares once I am gone. I know you will take care of the family”
“Wouldn’t it bring bad blood between my brothers and I? I do not want them to believe I am being favoured”
“If I had allowed them manage the tank farms, we would be penniless by now. They have seen your capability and cannot challenge my decision. I will let them know my decision when I am ready. How is Farida?”
Wale smiled. He hadn’t kept his father upto date with the Farida saga. He told him everything including her recent visit. He also expressed his fears about the new Farida. His father listened keenly as he spoke. When he was through, he said to him,
“I am almost 100% sure Farida advised you to talk to Alhaji and I. She is a very smart girl. I didn’t know all this happened. That Sam is a disgrace to his family. I’m sure his father is utterly ashamed of him. Is this new Farida strange? That is the same Farida that pushed you to achieve and still wouldn’t date you. She had always known what she wanted and achieved them until Sam came onboard. We both know that Sam took away her self esteem. She has gotten it back and you threatening to leave her or stay doesn’t bother her anymore because she has realized her life and happiness should not be tied to any human. Allow her explore and find herself. Allow her find happiness from other things while still being with you. Set her free!”
“You are right dad. But now I know why Sam doesn’t want to let her go. I have been caught in that web too. Just two days and dad, I am hooked. I’m no more thinking straight. I want to be with her always and I can’t stand another man being with her”
“You will get over it. Don’t disgrace yourself by wanting to be with her always. Don’t show her your insecurities……”
“She said we shouldn’t talk or chat but I should send email only when I have made plans. What woman doesn’t want to hear from her man always? What woman doesn’t want to see her man….”
