Chapter 24.
Nikky sighs, and takes the bottle of alcohol from Violet.
“That enough Violet, you have being drinking for hours”.
“Just give it back to Violet, give it back”. Violet said trying to take the bottle, but Nikky j.erks her hands off.
“Stop it Violet, what has come over you, you have to stop drinking, is not good for your health”. Nikky said looking at the bottles of alcohol she has consumed.
“Just leave me alone Nikky, I don’t care what happens to me now”. Violet said sobbing in tears.
“Are you been serious right now, you want to kill yourself because Jesse loves Sharon and not you”.
“He should have love me Nikky, I was always with him both in roses and thorns, I was always there for him Nikky, and I always have high hopes that he loves me, only to find out he loves Sharon,,who is Sharon anyway, she is just a girl that just came into his life, and he instantly fell in love with her, while I was here all along, it hurts so much Nikky, my heart is aching so bad, and I don’t think I care take it anymore”. Violet said crying.
Nikky sighs and said. “This is what have been telling you Violet, I told you not to have high hopes about Jesse loving you, and now looks at what it got you into”.
“How should I have known Nikky, with everything he always said, I thought he was indirectly referring to me, how was I supposed to know he just see me as nothing but his best friend”. Violet said and broke into tears crying.
Nikky sits besides her, as she tries consoling her. “That enough Violet, Jesse is not the only guy in the world”.
“But he is the only one my heart chooses to love, why can’t he love me, am i that ugly, is Sharon more better than me, is she more beautiful than me, am I that useless”. Violet said between tears
“No Violet you are not, don’t think you are, simply because Jesse doesn’t love you, that enough please”. Nikky pleaded , but Violet couldn’t stop crying.

Jesse opens the car door for Sharon, after he drove inside the mansion.
“Thanks alot Jesse”. Sharon said with a smile.
“You don’t have to thank me Sharon am your boyfriend now, so is now my job”.
Sharon smiles, and then she remembers Violet. “Jesse about Violet”.
“What about her Sharon”
“Is she okay with us been together”.
“Why did you ask Sharon”.
“Because,,,,, I don’t want to be the reason why you can’t be with her”.
“I don’t get you Sharon”.
“You and Violet grew up together right, what if she likes you”.
Jesse laughs and said. “Of course not, Violet doesn’t like me Sharon, she said so herself, and besides we see each other as not only best friends but siblings too, so there is nothing to be worried about okay”.
“Okay Jesse, I will go in now”. Sharon turn to leave, and Jesse held her back, holding her hand.
“What wrong Jesse”.
“You forgot something”.
“I did, what could that be”. Sharon said looking inside the car, to see if she actually forgot something like Jesse claims.
“A good bye kss”. Jesse said smiling, and Sharon looks at him.
“Is that really necessary”. Sharon asked feeling so shy. And Jesse nods his head like a baby.
Sharon bit her lips and quickly pecked Jesse on the cheek.
“Is that enough now”.
Jesse shakes his head and said. “Just one more place”.
“Where”.
“Here”. Jesse said touching his lips.
“You are really a je.rk Jesse”.
“I know that Sharon, go on just kss me already”. Jesse pouting like a baby.
Sharon chuckles with a smile, she looks around before facing Jesse, she raised her feet and kss him on the lips.

Sharon enters her room blushing so hard and smiling at the same time, touching her lips.
“So you both are finally together”. Millet said, and Sharon got startled on hearing her voice.
“Millet, you scared me”.
“And why won’t you be, when you can’t stop blushing, do you two really have to kss here in the mansion”. Millet asked, and Sharon looks at her.
“You saw us”.
“Yes I did, it was the best k drama kssing scene ever”. Millet said, and Sharon chuckles with a smile.
“So you both are now together, Jesse is your boyfriend now”. Millet asked, and Sharon nods smiling.
“So how does it feels to be in love”. She asked again.
“It feels so great Millet, and I don’t want it to ever end”.
“Well it won’t end, if you are ready to fight still the end Sharon”. Millet asked, and Sharon’s smiles quickly disappeared from her face.

“Mom have you seen Violet”. Jesse asked after he checked in her room, and she wasn’t there.
“No Jesse,she didn’t spend the night here”.
“Again”. Jesse asked looking concerned.
“Yes Jesse, I don’t know why going on with Violet these days, she often don’t spend the night here, are you both having problems”.
“No mom, but I know where she could be, she only has me and Nikky as her friends, so she will be there at her house”.
“Then go and bring her home Jesse, and try finding out what has been eating her up all this while”.
“I will mom”. Jesse said looking concern.

“She doesn’t want to see you Jesse”. Nikky said coming out from the house.
“Why Nikky”. Jesse asked with a worried face.
“I don’t know Jesse, all she said is she wants to be alone”.
“But why Nikky, did something happen yesterday at the party you both went”.
Nikky looks at him, and sighs.*how could he have no idea that Violet is hurting because he choose to love Sharon*. Nikky thought inwardly.
“Tell me Nikky, what Happened at the party that you both went to, did someone hurt her, tell me Nikky”.
“Are you really that concern for her”.
“Yes Nikky, she is my one and only best friend”.
*I guess he will never see her anything more than a best friend*. Nikky thought inwardly and said.
“Violet is fine, she just wants to be alone, that all, she is going to come home, when she is fine”.
“Can you at least always updated me on how she is doing, and if by chance she is mad at me, can you tell her that am sorry, that she should please come home already”. Jesse said.
And Nikky nods her head. “Fine I will Jesse”.

“Has he left already”. Violet asked immediately Nikky enters the house.
“Yes he has Violet, and he was so worried about you”.
“But just as his best friend and nothing else right”.
Nikky sighs and said. “So will you go home now”.
“Not yet Nikky, I can’t face Jesse right now”. Violet said and lay down in the bed, and visible tears could be seen from her eyes, Nikky looks at her and sighs, she felt so sorry for her friend.

Sharon came downstairs and was surprised to see her dad in the dinning table.
“Dad”. She calls shaking.
“Oh Sharon, you are up already, let have breakfast together”. Don Roman said smiling, and Sharon was surprised to see him smiling.
“What are you waiting for Sharon, let eat together”. He said in a cool voice and Sharon wonders why he was being nice today.
Sharon just sits in the chair still looking at her dad.
“You should eat Sharon, I personally told the maids to prepare the food you are use to, so enjoy”.
“Is everything okay with you dad”. Sharon asked with disbelief on her face.
“Why don’t I look okay”.
Sharon looks at her and shakes her slowly.
“Sharon I know I might have been a bad dad all this while, or let say I was never a good dad to you, but I was hoping we could create another page, and be more like father and daughter”. Don Roman said, and Sharon wonders if she was given a new dad, who just looks like her dad.
“Are you been serious right now”.
“Yes I am Sharon, so can will be like father and daughter now”. Don Roman asked smiling.
This was what she has always prayed and wanted and now is coming through, her dad finally wants to be a father to her. Sharon looks at him and nods smiling.
“Yes dad, I will really like that”.
“So, can we eat”. Don Roman asked smiling.
“Yes dad”. Sharon said smiling, and both began to eat.
“Sharon”
“Yes dad”.
“What going on between you and jesse”. He asked and Sharon almost choked in her food, this was the question she didn’t want her dad to ask her.
“No…thing Dad”. Sharon lies as she bits her lips.
“Are you sure”. He asked again, and Sharon slowly nods her head.
“That good to know then, am glad that you aren’t together with him”. Don Roman said and continues eating.
Sharon looks at him for a while and clears her throat.
“Dad,,,,what if by chance Jesse is my boyfriend, will you accept him”.
“That can never happened Sharon”.
“Why dad”.
“Because he different from us Sharon, he is poor and way out of your lead, I will never accept him as your boyfriend Sharon, not ever, and over my dead body will I watch you be in a relationship with him”.
Sharon gulps down nothing as she looks at her dad, not knowing what to say, and her body was already shaking already.
“And if I ever find out that you both are in relationship, and he is your boyfriend, he is going to be dead, and am going to make sure of that”. Don Roman said, and Sharon looks at him with shock written all over her face.
*He is going to kill Jesse*. Sharon said inwardly shaking so badly.
