The students continues pestering Joanna to say yes, while Liam was still eager waiting for her answer.
*Promise me, you won’t ever have a boyfriend now*. Janet’s word echoes in her ears.
*If I ever find out you and that guy are more than friends, you are going to get it for me Joanna, you are just 15, you should never have a boyfriend now*. Jesse’s voice also echoes in her ears.
“Joanna will you be my girlfriend”. Liam asked again, and Joanna looks at him.
“Am sorry Liam, am sorry but I can’t, I can’t be your girlfriend”. Joanna said and quickly run away, and Anna was so shocked.
?Oh no I can’t believe she turn him down.
?Who did heck is she to turn Liam down.
??Oh no poor Liam, he really prepared for this.
?He is so cute, I wonder why she turn him down, anyway that the rude Joanna for you.
The students keeps saying, especially the girls who were present, and they wished Liam has asked them out instead.
“Liam are you okay”. Anna asked when she saw how heart broken Liam was.
“Am fine Anna, I need to talk to her”. Liam said and quickly went after Joanna.
As for Joanna she keeps sniffing back her tears, as she walks to no where in particular.
“Joanna”. She heard someone call her, and she knew instantly that it was Liam, she quickly cleans the tears in her eyes, and turns to him.
“Yes Liam”.
“Why Joanna”. Liam asked sounding like a broken record.
“Why what Liam”.
“Why did you turn me down, I love you Joanna, I know we started off as enemies before, and I hated you back then, but we became friends, and I got to know you more, and I fall for you Joanna, so why did you turn me down, did you still hate me that much”. Liam asked as tears falls his eyes.
Joanna looks at him, and Jesse and her mom voices keep echoing in her ear, and she covers her ears.
“Just stop it Liam, stop, just stop”. Joanna said between tears.
“And why should I Joanna, I need know to why you couldn’t love me back, we should have just stay enemies, maybe I won’t have felt this way, how you could make me fall in love with you, without you loving me back”.Liam yells.
“I love you too!!!!”. Joanna yells in tears.
“Huh”. Liam ulter looking surprised.
“I love you too Liam, but I can’t agree be your girlfriend because I made a promise to my mom and my brother, and if they find that I went against my promise, they are going to be mad at me, I love you too Liam, but I can’t be your girlfriend right now”. Joanna said sobbing in tears, and Liam just look at her.
“Am only 15, and I know I shouldn’t be having this feelings, but I can’t help it Liam, Because I fell for you, but I can’t be in relationship, is going to break my mom’s heart, and she has went through a lot just for I and Jesse, I don’t want to disappoint her Liam, and Jesse has done nothing but show me the greatest love and care despite being my half sibling, he trusts me so much Liam, and I don’t want to break that trust, am so sorry Liam, but I can’t be your girlfriend”. Joanna said cleaning the tears in her eyes.
“Am going to wait for you Joanna”. Liam said and Joanna looks at him.
“You are right Joanna, we are way too young to be in relationship, I just couldn’t control how I feel, that why I asked you to be my girlfriend, but now that I know you feel the same way for me too Joanna, am going to wait for you, am going to wait no matter how long it takes, because I love you so much Joanna”. Liam said, and Joanna looks at him.
“Can I at least hug you”. Liam asked, Joanna looks at him, and slowly nods her head, and Liam pulls her into a hug.
“Thank you Liam”. Joanna said between tears hugging him back.

Millet stands at the door of the basement, and she could hear Sharon crying, and she has been crying since last night, Sharon has become more like a sister to her, and she couldn’t bear to see her in sorrow, so she went to meet Don Roman in his room.
“What are you doing here Millet”. Don Roman asked, when Millet enters his room.
And Millet quickly went on her knees. “Please Don Roman, am begging of you, just let Sharon out from that basement, she can’t be in the dark basement, you already know how scared Sharon is of the dark, please just released her out from there, I beg of you”. Millet said between tears.
“Are you done talking, if you are, get out”.
“Don Roman”.
“If I repeat myself again, you are going to be dead, get out now!!!!!”. Don Roman yells and Millet quickly leaves the room.
“How can he be cruel towards his own daughter, is he even human, how can he do this to his own child, Sharon”. Millet said, she tries to fight back her tears but couldn’t.

“Liam!!!!”. Anna half yells as she enters his room, and Liam looks at her.
“What wrong Anna, why are you screaming my name”.
“Because I thought you have done something stupid to yourself, after you went after Joanna, I couldn’t see you both in school, I thought you will be soaking in tears or something”.
“That won’t happen Anna”. He said with a smile, and Anna looks at him in dismay.
“For someone who got rejected by the person they love, should be very sad, but in your own case you are smiling, or have you gone insane, oh my”. Anna exclaims covering her mouth.
“Will you stop being dramatic, am not going insane”.
“So what with the smile for Liam, the last time I saw you, you were so heartbroken, and now you are smiling, who won’t think you have gone a little mad,,,can you explain things to me so I can understand”. Anna said.
And Liam tells her everything about what Joanna told her.
“So are you willing to wait for her”.
“Yes I will Anna”.
“And what if it takes long, like five or six years will you be able to wait for her still then”.
“I will Anna, even if it takes seven years”. Liam said.
“Wow!!!!!, Am so impressed, I can’t believe my favorite cousin, now have a heart”. Anna said touching his cheeks playfully, and Liam chuckles with a smile.

Jesse keeps trying Sharon’s number, it was ringing, and yet no one was picking.
“Why is she not picking her phone”. Jesse asked, and then he stood up immediately.
“What if Don Roman has done something bad to her”. Jesse asked no one in particular, and quickly headed for the door, when his mom came in.
“Where are you going Jesse”.
“I have to go to Sharon, she is not picking her phone calls, am sure Don Roman must have done something to her”.
“Are you crazy Jesse, maybe you have forgotten that, you are also going to Don Roman’s Mansion, you have not fully recovered yet, what if he adds to the bruises you have”. Janet said.
“I don’t care mom”. Jesse said and leaves the room.
“Jesse come back, Jesse!!!!!”. Janet yells, but Jesse ignores his mom calling.

On getting to Don Roman’s Mansion, Jesse discovered the gate was fully guarded by Don Roman’s men.
And despite the pains he was feeling from the bruises he got, he secretly climbs the fence of Don Roman’s Mansion, and made his way inside the compound, without the guards knowing.
And he also secretly climbs the walls, and enters Sharon’s room through the her window, he looks around the room, and he couldn’t find her.
“Sharon”. He called in a low voice, looking around the huge room, and he also saw her phone on the bed.
“Where could she be”. He asked, and Millet enters and she got so startled on seeing Jesse.
“Oh my goodness!!!!!, Jesse!!!!, What are you doing here, and how did you pass through the gate without those men knowing.”
“Where is Sharon”. Jesse asked ignoring her questions.
“Her dad locked her up in a basement”.
“What!!!!!!, Why will he do that to Sharon, is she okay, where is the basement”. Jesse asked looking so concerned.
“Even if you go to the basement Jesse, you can’t see her Jesse, she been locked up, and Don Roman has the keys with him”.
“Just take me to her Millet please”. Jesse said with a pleading eyes.

Sharon sits alone in the dark basement crying, and fear was all-over her, she keeps looking around and yet couldn’t see a thing.
“Sharon”. She heard someone one calls from outside the basement.
“Jesse”. She ulters, and quickly stands up to her feet.
“Jesse”. She calls him again as tears falls down her eyes.
“Sharon are you okay in there, did your dad hurt you”. Jesse asked from outside.
“Is so dark in here Jesse, am scared, am so scared”. Sharon said crying, and a drop of tears falls down Jesse’s eyes hearing her cry.
“Don’t be scared okay, am here now, am here for you Sharon”. Jesse said, and Sharon nods Asif Jesse could see her.
Jesse looks at the door of the basement and face Millet.
“Millet can you please get me a small Butter knife”.
“Why Jesse, what are you trying to do”. Millet asked.
“Just get me one!!”. Jesse half yells, and Millet quickly left to get the small Butter knife.
“Sharon hold on okay, am going to get you out of that dark basement, I love you so much Sharon”.
“I love you too Jesse”. Sharon said sobbing in tears.
And Millet came back with the small Butter knife.
“Here you Jesse”. Millet said giving it to him.
Jesse took it from her and began using it to open the door.
“Jesse, you are putting yourself at risk, what if Don Roman comes back”. Millet asked.
“I don’t care Millet, I have to get Sharon out”. Jesse said and continues with what he was doing.
“You both are so stubborn, and I don’t know why I keep helping you both, just becareful”. Millet said and leaves.
Jesse keeps using the small Butter knife to open the door of the basement and after a while the door cracked open.
“Sharon”
“Jesse”.
And both hugged each other so tightly, after a while Jesse disengage the hug.
“Are you okay Sharon, are you hurt anywhere”. He asked checking her whole body.
“Am fine Jesse, I missed you so much”.
“I missed you so much too Sharon”. Jesse said and pulls her into a deep kss.
Don Roman enters the mansion, and a maid quickly greet him.
“Good afternoon Don Roman”.
“Afternoon, have you given Sharon something to eat”.
“No Don Roman”.
“And why”.
“You are with the keys to the basement, Don Roman”.
“Get her something to eat, I will go and check up on her”. Don Roman said, as he headed for the basement.
And meanwhile, Jesse and Sharon were still busy kssing each other so passtionately.
