Diora just had her night bath and now on the bed ready to sleep when she heard a knock on the door which made her open her eyes straight away.

Who could that be? She thought but managed to get down from the bed, she yawned as she dragged her legs out of the bedroom to get the door.

As she opened, Timothy came to view and Diora raised her brows.

“Huh?” She blinked.

“The boss want you in his suite, right now” Timothy said.

“His….suite?” She stuttered unbelievably

Timothy nodded.

“I will put on something” Diora closed the door and batted her lashes still in surprise but didn’t want to waste time so she hurriedly returned to the room to get rid of her pajamas for something more nice.

Seems like there’s no pants in her closet at all, just dresses that look expensive. But after searching for ten minutes she got a simple gown to wear then she went out to met Timothy.

“Please come with me” Timothy said and she nodded slowly.

As she followed him, she was biting her lips and playing with her nails, she was so nervous and at the same time curious.

But what if he’s actually mad at her? Did Morana told him anything? Or what?

They walked for some minutes and finally they arrived at Kyros’s suite, immediately they entered,She began to admire how beautiful it actually looks like.

“Wait here, I will inform the boss first” Timothy told her when they entered the living room,but Diora didn’t hear that,she just continue looking around.

Timothy returned back just a minute later and Diora faced him.

“He wants you in his room” He told her and she blinked.

“Huh?”

“His room, that way” Timothy pointed out the direction and walked away just like that.

Diora swallowed and began walking toward the direction he pointed out, he finally opened the bedroom door and slowly entered.

She was taking slow steps and trying to close the door without making any sound.

“What are you doing?” Came the deep cold voice behind her, Diora flinched and quickly closed the door before turning.

Kyros was standing there,staring back at her,shirtless and one of his hands inserted into his pocket.

“Hi” Diora mumbled and bit her lower lip.

Kyros scoffed and rolled his eyes.

“Come over” He said and walked to the bed, Diora followed him without argument.

Kyros sat down on the bed while she stood in front of him like a child waiting to be scolded.

Kyros stared at her, from what she was putting on, everything,totally not his taste at all. But that’s not why she’s there,so he just ignored it.

“Over there” He pointed at the table beside Diora and she turned to see.

It’s a brand new phone,and a new ipad too,all still in pack. Her eyes widened and she faced Kyros back.

“I heard you don’t have a phone” Kyros said.

“You need one, and that…do whatever you want with it” He added.

Diora couldn’t move from her position, her eyes remained on Kyros and he could read that she was shocked and almost at the point of tears.

“Don’t cry here, I hate it” He said coldly.

Diora immediately sniffed and looked away, she picked the electronics.

“The phone is charged already, I got a sim and my number is saved in there, you can call me if you need anything” Kyros said.

“Thank you” Diora muttered.

“Thank you, really” She said again.

“You can go” Kyros said and she bowed shortly before taking a step to leave.

“Wait” Kyros called and she immediately turned.

“Get prepared for tomorrow, you’re getting registered in a university”

Diora gasped out loudly with wide eyes.

“I’m going to school?! Really?!” She screamed and started jumping around the room without thinking.

Kyros stared at her blankly as she jumped excitedly, her long hair following every movement,till she became calm.

“I will get really prepared! Early in the morning,thank you!!” She screamed and ran out.

Kyros could still hear her giggles even after she left the room.

“I….I won’t…die” She stuttered.

Kyros stared at her with a blank expression on his face, why does she look so innocent? He dislike innocent and soft girls, so much.

“Where’s mom?” He asked one of the guards roaming about.

“I will lead the way boss” He immediately said and started walking while Kyros followed.

Without waiting too, Diora followed.

They walked in silence until they entered the living room of one of the many buildings in the castle.

“You two are here” Mrs Castillio smiled as she saw them entered, the guard went out,leaving them.

“Why are you here without telling me anything?” Kyros asked and sat down.

“Now I have to announce, before coming to my son’s house?” She scoffed and then faced Diora with a smile.

“Oh, you are so pretty. I couldn’t show up yesterday, you must have been so lonely. I know my son….”

“Mom!” Kyros frowned.

“What! I know you wouldn’t even care about the poor pretty girl, you need to learn how to be loving and caring” Mrs Castillio snapped and faced Diora again.

“Diora right?”

“Yes..ma’am” Diora muttered.

“Mother” She corrected.

“Huh?” Diora blinked.

“Call me mother, you don’t want to?”

“Oh…I can”Diora muttered.

“Have your seat beside me”

Diora gently sat down together with her.

“You both should come over to the house tomorrow evening, a family dinner…”

“I’m not interested in that” Kyros cut her off.

“I knew you would say that, I should have texted you but decided to come here,you should respect that at least” Mrs Castillio said.

“I will drive you back home, don’t show up next time without informing me first” Kyros said.

Diora took her lower lip in as she listened to mother and son battling with words.

“Can I know the reason why you hate coming home so bad?”

“Because I hate everyone over there…”

“Including your own mother and father? And Sister?!…”

“I can’t remember having a father” Kyros snapped.

“Kyrosan!” Mrs Castillio shouted.

Kyros raised his brows,darkly, then stood up.

“Don’t walk out on me” Mrs Castillio said.

“You should go home, it’s getting late” Kyros said.

“Kyros….”

“What time is the dinner?” He asked and his mom smiled.

“8pm, you should be there by seven” She replied.

“Okay” Kyros muttered and looked at Diora.

“Hey” He called.

Diora looked at her.

“Aren’t you coming?” Kyros asked.

Diora stood up and bowed for Mrs Castillio before following Kyros.

Kyros walked in front of her, she wanted to meet up but his legs are too long. She ended up running after him.

“I’m not hey” She simply muttered.

Diora sat down on her bed, probably this might be the last time she would get to sit and feel it, her eyes were looking so puffy and red as she had been crying.

Earlier that day, she got married. To the least man she had ever expected or wanted to get married to.

Funniest part? She didn’t see him, she only received the ring,like a present,on her bed,In her room. In one word,she had no idea who she just got married to,how he looks like.

Of course, she’s heard alot about him, how his face could kill at one sight because of his handsomeness,height and everything,but Diora was never interested.

The news surrounding the Duke was scary, not meant for someone as fragile as she is.

She’s just twenty two, how could her parents give her up so easily to a man in his thirties or fourties? She could tell he’s a man who’s old enough to be her father.

According to the news, what man fights hundred men and still stands as if nothing happened? If not a devil? Like the Duke of Athens?

Now that man, is her husband,Yes,Allegedly,because she’s not and never going to accept him as her husband,never.

Ever since she was a child, she had imagined her own special wedding,with her pretty long gown flowing along with her,while walking down the aisle with her husband, a gentleman and a prince charming. But she was given the total opposite.

She was still thinking about all that when her eldest sister, Maliah entered into her room,with her arms crossed on her chest.

“Still crying?” She asked, with a blunt expression on her face.
