CHAPTER 37
Alex and I walked down to them, Alex sent down and touched Caspian’s head.
“I’m sorry for hurting you brother” he apologized.
“I’m not sorry for fighting for what is right” Caspian confessed, Nicky hit his hand, he groaned a bit. “Sht, having a mate is not easy” he complained, Nicky hit him again and he laughed.
“Trust me, it’s difficult, you would have to do whatever you can to make her happy, only for her to turn around and compliment another person’s cuteness” Alex complained.
“I know you are referring to me” I nudged him, he chuckled.
Nicky helped Caspian to sit up. He looked around and saw the damages he caused and he winced in pain and embarrassment.
“Oh, you will do pay for all the properties you damaged” the alpha pointed out to him.
“Would you punish your own nephew for fighting for what is right uncle?” He asked cunningly.
“If my nephew was in his right senses, he wouldn’t be fighting his own people just to stop them from getting what they wanted” the alpha retorted.
“I’m sorry uncle” Caspian bent his head “but I don’t regret it, I only did what my father would have done if he were to be alive, he wouldn’t want to change his pack into those weak creatures who took his live” he stated.
“Caspian, those ‘weak’ creatures didn’t kill your father on purpose” the alpha stood up from where he was being held by Caspian’s men, he walked up to Caspian and continued “your father and I went into the forest to hunt, we saw the humans, they were skiing in the snow, we thought we had found food, so we attacked them but unfortunately they had guns, so they shot at us, I managed to run but they got your father, I tried going back but he clouded my head and shot me out of his wolf so that I can’t be able to help him.
I managed to read his mind and he said that if I get caught as well, he will never forgive me, so I ran back home.” He sighed and added “Caspian what I’m trying to say is that humans are not all that bad, the ones that killed your father only acted on self defense, they saw something about to kill them, so they killed it instead, self defense Caspian”
“Why didn’t you tell me about it all these years huh?” Caspian cried out.
The alpha shrugged without replying.
Caspian robbed his face with his hands, probably trying to clean off the tears that was threatening to fall. He sighed and lifted his head to the alpha.
“Fine, I’m sorry for everything” he stated.
“Everything that happened was all because of fate, if not for your actions Caspian, you and your brother wouldn’t have found your mates” Alex’s mum, Penny said.
“And why does their mates always come from outside the pack” Aurora whined.
“Destiny my dear” penny replied.
The bch is just jealous.
“You are a f00l” she snareled at me.
Omg I forgot they can hear me. Everyone laughed.
“So what now?” Penny asked.
“Let’s all go and rest for today, tomorrow we continue with the plan” the alpha stated. “Caspian would you want to be a part of it?” He asked. All eyes landed on him.
Caspian shrugged and replied “nah, I’m good, I think I’ll remain a lycan for a long time”
“Suit yourself” the alpha stated “but can you at least ask your men to release my people?” He asked.
Caspian waved his hands and his guards released everyone. They all dispersed.
“Nicky let’s go” I called out to her.
“Sorry I can’t hear you” she complained as she and Caspian walked away.
“I said let’s go back to our room” I screamed out.
“Still can’t hear you” she screamed back.
“Naughty bch” i yelled at her, she and Caspian laughed.
“She’s not coming” Alex whispered to me. I giggled. “Shall we go?” He asked and I nodded.
He carried me up, bridal style and walked gently into a different passage. When we got to the extreme of the passage, he opened the door by the left, it was as long as the ceiling.

We entered into the most beautiful room I’ve ever seen, more beautiful than our barbie room, it’s a masculine room but it’s adorable, can’t really explain but it was beautiful.
“Your room is amazing” I commented and collapsed on his king size bed.
“Thanks” he replied with a light smile but I looked at him and I didn’t need a microscope to know that beneath that smile lies a worried Alex.
“What’s wrong with you?” I asked him.
“What? Nothing I’m fine” he shrugged.
I stood up and walked to him, he was removing his diamond earrings. I’m definitely gonna steal these rings later.
“I’ll break your tiny hands if I see them near my rings” he threatened with a smile.
“You can’t do anything to me, you know that” I laughed out, he groaned. “Alex look at me” I turned his adorable face to me. He smiled. “What’s bothering you?” I asked.
He sighed. I gently dragged him to the bed, I made him sit and I sat on his laps.
“Didn’t it occur to you that you are sed*cing me?” He breathed out.
“Didn’t it occur to you that I’m trying to know what’s wrong with you” I replied.
He sighed again. He opened his mouth to talk but he closed it back.
“Alex come on, just give me a hint of what is wrong with you, you know I can’t read your mind” I pleaded.
“I don’t how to say it” he complained.
“Say it anyhow” I urged him.
He opened his mouth, we both waited for his ‘super hard words’ to come out.
“I.. I.. It’s just.. Well…” He sighed.
“You don’t wanna be a human” I guessed, he looked up sharply at me and I believed I was right.
“The thing is, I know I’m not the only one, no one in this pack wants it, including my father but he’s just or rather we are just trying to fulfill my sister’s dream. Jeremy was right. My sister is dead and lenny was also right, if my sister’s mate actually loved her, he would have taken her the way she is” he whined.
“I think he loved her, but maybe he was just scared, scared of what people might think, and he’s he was wrong for not accepting who she was, he was a coward, he doesn’t deserve your sister at all” I stated.
He smiled a little.
“I just wish I could turn back the hands of time, I just wish I had talked my sister out of this, maybe Caspian wouldn’t have fought us that night, maybe she would still be alive by now” he cried.

I pulled his head to my chest. “I regret everything, here I am blaming Caspian for everything that has happened while I was supposed to be blaming myself for not protecting my sister” he looked up at me. “Do you know that she could have broken her mate bond with that human, she could have chosen another mate”
“Is that possible?” I asked in astonishment. He nodded as tears slid down his cheeks.
“It is, if a lycan feels like she doesn’t like her mate, he/she can break the bond between them and choose someone else but she perhaps didn’t think about that, she just wanted to make him happy, now look what it has caused us, a thousand lives and a thousand regrets.” He cried out.
FINDING REMEDY: Chapter 31 – The End
I wiped his tears but they couldn’t stop flowing. “My father is suffering inside, by mare looking at him, I just couldn’t stand it, he knows that no one wants this but he doesn’t know how to stop it cause of how far we’ve gone”
“Then stop him, you can’t go on ahead to do what you don’t want, everyone has been complaining since this whole thing started, even i don’t want you to be a human, I love you the way you are…” I said to him as I remembered that cute white wolf of his.
I chuckled and added “I love your wolf more” he laughed. “Your pack loves their wolves, they love who they are and they don’t want it to change, please don’t take it away from them, I can’t imagine changing from human into another creature that I don’t even understand their nature” I advised.
He nodded “thanks Andra” he breathed out.
He leaned in closer and placed his cute lips on mine, engolfing us in a passionate kiss which lasted for 2 minutes.
That was epic.
“I love you” he confessed. I felt butterflies in my stomach, he chuckled.
“I love you too” I managed to breath out.
“Umh, I need to talk to my father” he stated.
“You should” I replied absent mindedly.
“Umh, you are sitting on my….” He pointed out and I jerked back to reality, I forgot I was sitting on his laps.
“Sorry” I apologized and stood up, he chuckled.
He kissed my cheek and then walked out.
I floated in clouds for a while before I colapsed on his bed.
Suddenly the door pushed open, Nicky rushed in holding her bleeding neck, her hand was also bleeding, she was staggering and breathing heavily like she was losing her breath.
“Oh my gosh Nicky…” I screamed as I rushed to her, I took her to the bed, she laid down. “Nicky please stay with me, don’t die please” I cried. “D*mn it, i knew we shouldn’t trust that b*stard” i complained.
She shook her head negatively “its….it’s.. Not.. It’s not him” she breathed out.
“What are you talking about, Nicky you shouldn’t defend him” I urged her, I rushed to the bathroom and brought a white small towel, I soaked in water and rushed back to her, I dampped it on her neck but the blood was too much, I need a bucket, she needs medical attention.
“I’m not…I’m not defending him, its.. It..really.. Not him” she stated. “It’s her…”
“Who?” I urged her to tell me.
