Chapter 4
Ara’s pov
They are coming to my house tomorrow for dinner. Those four fools. What do I do? I don’t want to show myself to them.
Geez!
We got inside, my brother had gone to his room.
“Dad, what time are they coming? ”
“That are coming by 3pm” He answered.
“OK” That was all I could say.
Soo Bin’s pov
I got home and prepared something for my mother to eat.
My mother tried to kill her self cause of my so called father.
He left us to die in hardship, sorrow, poverty.
All because he had a son outside who will inherit everything he had.
He forgot my mom was the owner and also the one who invested so much in those two companies.
He left right after my mom signed all she had to him, all in the name of love.
Is this love? Does love treats someone like this?
My mom tried getting her companies back but all to no avail.
She tried killing herself for the mistake she had made. Killing isn’t the issue now.
I got to the kitchen, and decide to prepare beef stew and rice for my mother.
In one hour, I was through with everything. I went to my room to take off my uniform and put on a simple dress.
Am gonna see my new friend tomorrow. I giggled. She’s pretty and look friendly.
I can’t remember when last I became so happy. Maybe I made my first friend in school today.
As for Young hee and Yoo nah, am looking for the right time to teach her a lesson.
I pack the food inside a lunch box and walked out of the house. .
Tae’s pov
Next morning…
We got into the car and the driver drove us to school.
At School ?…
I got down from the car, and saw the m@niac running towards me.
G0sh! I hate seeing this girl.
“Good morning Tae, I hope you slept well? I know you do. See my new hair style, I did this because of you and am sure you love it. She squeaked.
“And how is that my business? If you know you don’t have anything good to do this morning, kindly go home.
People with attitude like yours are not to be in school, they are to be in the police cell.
I don’t know why God placed you in a rich home cause living in a slum is what fit your destiny. Fool. ” I said, and pushed her away.
My brothers were laughing, making jest of her.
“But I still love you Tae, I won’t take that words to heart. I know you love me too” She smiled a little.
I stopped walking, and turned to her “I would rather love and get married to a dog than be with you”
I knew she was feeling embarrassed, ashamed and rejected. She left angrily.That serves her right.
“Tae, you’re really frustrated this morning and you had to pour all this frustration on her ” Jae spoke, laughing stupidly.
I left them and got to the class, it been long have been to class though I do have private classes.
I sat at the back, only few students are in class. The girls were drooling like idi0ts.
I took my phone out and began playing my favorite song. We are planning on a new song soon.
Ara’s pov
My dad asked of my bicycle but I told him it was stolen in school.
He said he will be coming to school and report the principal about this but I told him not to worry.
And guess what? My dad ordered a new bicycle for me.
“Ara, why don’t you take the car? This bicycle will make you go late to school if you keep waiting for it” My dad said, pointing to the new Bugatti (latest model) he bought last week.
I eyed the car, “No dad, I will wait ” I answered.
30 minutes later, A big van drove in and bought out the bicycle .
But wait!
it doesn’t look like a bicycle. It was more beautiful and amazing than the first one.
I walked to it and geez! A pink scooter!
This time I won’t let anyone destroy this, Cause he/she is going to see the tiger in me.
Am not really the gentle type, but am trying to be. I can’t believe dad bought me a scooter!
“Wow, I love this one dad, thank you so much ” I said and pecked my dad on his two cheeks.
“You welcome, now go, you are running late ”
My dad paid for the scooter. I collected the helmet from him too.
I got on it and rode out of the house. School here I come with my new scooter.
Young Hee’s pov
Tae disgraced me in front of those students. Thank God they didn’t record the scene cause am gonna commit su!cide if such thing happen.
I won’t be able to face the shame. But that won’t stop me from loving him. He’s mine alone.
Oops! I forgot something inside my car. I walked back to the park.
A pink scooter rode past me. The rider was a girl and also wearing a helmet.
The scooter looks expensive and it really beautiful.
I waited for the rider to removed the helmet, she stopped the scooter and parked it beside a bicycle.
She came down but didn’t remove her helmet, her school bag looks familiar.
She kept walking through the hallway without removing her helmet.
Like seriously? I hope this girl is alright?
I followed her, she stopped and opened the door.
The class went wild, even the teacher. At last she removed the helmet and I went gobsmacked.
Ara!! ??
She’s the owner of that scooter! I need to research more about her. She has something which she’s hiding.
Ara’s pov
I know it crazy, wearing my helmet to class like that. Just trying to act funny.
I saw Soo Bin waving her hand for me to come sit. I walked to my seat and sat down.
“Good morning ” I greeted.
“Good morning Ara, how was your night? ”
“Lovely ” we concentrated on the teaching and soon he was done.
Fast forward…
I saw my rival and her friend Yoo nah, she look really wicked today.
Fortunately, she didn’t look for trouble. I don’t know why.
I felt a little relieved when we took the last subject of the day. I took my school bag and walked to the principal’s office.
I turned the door knob and pushed the door opened, he was talking to a boy and he looked worried.
He raised his head and stared at me for a while.
“What do you want? ” His voice was harsh.
“Hmm.. I came to collect my sport wears ”
“Have sent someone to put it in your locker, it will be shown to you tomorrow. Now leave “He said.
I tried to take a glimpse at the boy but I think he had neck problem cause he kept turning his head.
I left the office, and got to the park. Thank God they haven’t done anything bad to it.
I saw Young hee and Yoo nah staring at me awkwardly.
What!
Or they haven’t seen a scooter before?
I winked and smiled at them, as I put on my helmet , rode out with my scooter. I saw Soo Bin trekking on her way home.
I decided to carry her “Your scooter looks comfortable. ” she complemented.
“Thanks babe, how about I take you from home to school and from school to home everyday? ”
“Hmm.. If it okay with you”
“Don’t worry, it okay ”
I stopped at her house, and we both waved our selves good bye.
Now I need to get ready for that dinner.
At home….
I parked my scooter and ran straight to my room, mom already told me they will be coming in 2 hours time.
I put on a short strapless blue dress, I wore my black sandals.
I put on a light makeup, I did my hair in a messy bun.
I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs, the maids had already prepared the meals.
“Mom, when are they coming? ” my little brother asked.
“Calm down, they are coming soon ”
Soon, we heard the car horn. I opened the curtain and saw two cars coming into the compound.
First was my dad’s car and the second, oops! The Park’s family.
Now the feeling is here, nervousness!
I waited patiently for them to come in, and they did.
My eyes went straight to Tae, his green shirt looks awesome on his body and his blue eyes adorable.
His hair was jelled back and he was wearing a bandana.
His hot today, but his still the rude boy.
His eyes went round the house and it all landed on me. The eyes went widened and began blinking rapidly.
I faced down and passed beside him to welcome his family members.
“Welcome ma, welcome sir ” I greeted.
“Ohh! Isn’t she the Ara girl? The one Tae poured cof…..” His mouth was covered by his brother.
“Geez! She’s the one. ”
“Like seriously? ” All their mouths went wide
We all went to the dinning, the maids began serving the food.
40 minutes later….
My dad and Mr Park began talking, same as my mom and Mr Park’s wife after the meal.
Tae’s brothers were in the second living room, with my brother. Only God knows what they were asking from him.
And Tae! Where did he go? I stood up and walked outside.
Tae’s pov
I saw a garden at the back of the house and sat on the stairs leading to it.
Ara is the Kim’s daughter? What a coincidence? And she was acting like she came from the slums.
But that won’t make me stop looking for her trouble. ? I heard footsteps and I quickly stood up, going back to the main house.
I was climbing the stairs too fast, and it seems the footsteps were coming closer to where I was.
And Boom!
