Jimi watched her remove her wig, infact he has been watching her all day, from the church to reception, they stood so close to each other at the church and still he couldn’t take his eyes off her
It’s been six months and the feelings didn’t change, it didn’t die down, it didn’t fade away it just blossomed
Time slowed down the moment she walked into that church and he was standing right in front of her
Being Philips best man allowed them to run into each other several times but even when she was up and about his eyes trailed along with her.
The wedding ceremony ended and they moved to the hotel. In the lounge the groomsmen and bridesmaids gathered to have a miniature after after party
Philip stood up to pop the icy bottle of champagne
“This is to my beautiful wife” Marty was blushing looking gorgeous in her silver lacy dinner dress
“Awwwn aww” the ladies in the room echoed
“Thank you for agreeing to be my wife, thank you walking the aisle with me and thank you for starting this wonderful journey”
They all cheered and gave him a round of applause as Philip went round to pour everyone a glass in their flute
Diana took that as an opportunity to walk down the lobby and pull out her wig taking a deep breath and just letting it all sink in but jimi was right behind her.
She couldn’t even get a five feet away from the guy that brings all the emotions running
As jimi moved closer he noticed she was sobbing quietly,
“Diana… Are you OK”
She glared at him and wipe her face quickly
“Am fine, what are you doing here”
“I followed you ” he muttered blankly
“You followed me, why.. Why can’t you just leave me alone. I just need a moment to breathe”
“I can’t leave you alone”
“Why not”
“I dont know, I haven’t seen you in six months, it almost like you are dragging me around with you”
“Well am not I just really want to be alone”
“And I just want to tell you that Abby really misses you”
“And you think I don’t miss her too, it tears me apart every time I think about her…. And that’s like all the time. ”
“It was never my intention to hurt you. Just come back and let’s work this out somehow”
“It’s not so easy”
They fell silent
Things with Diana are never so easy.
At this point Jimi doesn’t even know what to do or say to fall back into her good graces
“You look really good tonight” before she could say thank you he kept going
“You always look good, drop dead gorgeous. Your haircut looks amazing on you”
“Jimi don’t” the flattering is making it harder for her to breath
“I am just saying what I say, I know it might not change anything but I hope you see that deep down this suit and armor there’s a heart feeling miserable and useless without you, my friend said that the HEART ROBBER GOT HIS HEART ROBBED..
You took my heart with you when you left Diana. You broke me when you said no to me and I know you’re scared of what I present to you because it sounds too good to be true.
I want to say that I’m so sorry for what happened with Dorcas, am sorry about Abby, am sorry for being a clueless jerk, am sorry for hurting you, am sorry for ruining things for you..

his voice cracked

I just hope you don’t deprive Abby of that motherly love that only you can give. She needs you more than you can imagine.
So am going to ask you, don’t leave Abby behind again, don’t make her suffer for my own mistakes I promise to stay out of the way and not interfere in your life. I can put aside my own personal needs just so my daughter can be happy again. Pls give us a chance in your life again Didi…….”
Unable to control herself anymore Diana pulled him closer and smashed his lips with hers, kssing him passionately, Jimi stood dumb stuck for a while before he actually realizes he is getting the kss of his life he wrapped his hands around her and kssed her back with the same passionate desire.
Like time stopped and it was snowing and it was just the two of them in space, floating and freezing yet exploring a burning passion at the same time
It took forever before Diana pulled back and held her lips
Jimi pants loudly and then cleared his throat
“Is that what I think it is” he asked blushing like a child
“What do you think it is ” she giggles
“I love you Diana… With all my heart, and every bone in my body”
“I love you too Jimi Benson”
It was pointless denying and fighting it. He came and penetrated his way to her fragile heart now he dwells there permanently
“Oh my gosh, oh my goodness this is really happening “he hugged her as he plants ksses over her face sweeping her off her feet
“Would it be crazy for me to propose to you again”
“No I guess it won’t”
Jimi held her hand and went down on one kneel
Diana, my love my soul mate, the mother of my child and children yet unborn. The woman with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen, my heart Robber, my greatest gift, my rare gem, my everything…..

She giggled unable to control her excitement
“Yes Jimi…. I will marry you”
